I for some reason thought that getting a gravel bike with 650b wheels would be a good choice as my first bike. I now have a road bike but use my gravel bike for day to day things as well as touring. Current tires feel super slow and puncture way too easily so I need a replacement. I don't ride proper gravel that often so the 48s I have on now are definitely overkill.
Does anyone know a shop that sells 650bx38 tires?? I'd settle for up to 42. I genuinely can't find a shop that carries 650b's that are less than 48. Found a few online shops but the shipping fees are huge.

Sorry if this isn't allowed but just wanted to see if anyone is interested in picking up a bib for the Olympic tri in Niagara! Picked up an injury and just don't see myself training enough to enjoy the race. That plus travel, hotel, etc I'd rather just transfer the bib if anyone is interested!!
I don't believe the race is sold out so I'd be willing to give it for lower than face value. Can handle transfers/verification in whatever way you feel comfortable with.
Finished my second sprint tri yesterday and got my first age group podium!! Swimming is by far my worst discipline, I was off first place by 3 minutes and I definitely think I could find 3 minutes in my swim time. This race was 750m and I did it in around 17 minutes. Water was freezing so adrenaline at the start def made me swim a bit fast, I swim a bit slower than I do in this vid. Let me know if you have any advice!

Hey triathletes!! If anyone did the tri today did you notice the timing was a little wonky? My sports stats has me running a 4:05 pace but a 19:36 5km. My watch also measured 4.8km but def possible I started it late (I don't remember). Also has my bike time as 32:51 avg speed 34.9 but that speed should get me in at 34:23. Anyone else notice weird things with their time? Are you taking your chip time as accurate? I paused my watch a late so I can't really trust that time.

Trying to learn how to flying mount and I've got a dumb question. Once the shoes are on, what happens to the rubber band??? Does the band break off? What if it doesn't break and it's just pulling on your heel the whole time?? Help!!
I'm doing my second sprint tri in two weeks and just wondering how you guys decide on your race plan. Last year I went 1h 24 and this year I'm aiming to beat 1h 15. I'm not a very strong swimmer so I only have one speed and that's gonna be 750m in around 15min. Current 20 bike PR is 31:58 (37.5kph) and 5km run PR is right around 19:00 (but that was during a fairly downhill 10km race so I'm not sure what my actual flat out 5km time is).
I'm thinking to aim for a 35kph bike (that's around 34min I think) and start out the run at 20min pace expecting to go a little faster. Does this seem reasonable? How would you guys pace yourselves?

I'm always paranoid that I don't have my alarm set so I'd love to have a way to see on the watch face when my next alarm is. Is this a feature? On my watch face I can cycle between HR, steps, elevation, etc, by clicking the button. I feel like that would be a good place to include my alarm time. Lmk if anyone knows how to implement this!
I currently wear contacts for my runs and rides, bit they're not exactly the cheapest things out there. I'm hoping to find some sunglasses which can also have a lens swap out so I can wear them on cloudy days. I know this is a thing for non prescription glasses but does anyone know of any for prescription? My budget is around 250$ with insurance from work so ideally not anything very expensive.
My prescription is also -6.50 so something which can handle higher prescription is also needed.

I'm hoping to go for a run after work today downtown and was wondering if I'm allowed to leave my bags at a community centre locker? Is it allowed to use the changerooms if I'm not using the facilities? I'd probably head to East Bayfront CC to change and drop my bags. If that doesn't work does anyone have other suggestions for where I can leave my things?
