Has anyone here locally had a longer delay for a letter, specifically where it showed up in your USPS delivery digest multiple days before it showed up? How long ago did that happen for you, and how many days "late" (read: after it showed up on your delivery digest) did you receive it?

It's a relatively important document (baptism record for establishing my ancestry). It's a bit of a pain to get another one since it's just a random lady from a small church in MA who makes the certified copies and mails them out, and this one took her over a month to find because of the number of requests they're currently getting.

I know this question has been asked a bunch, and I've been reading all of those posts. I just really can't decide what to do.

I'm getting a new washer/dryer in two weeks. Install company confirmed they could do either 3 prong or 4 prong. They bring both and install depending on what is available.

I understand that 4 prong is safer because of the dedicated ground. I'm having someone come look at it Tuesday (while they're here doing a few other random things) and I'm REALLY hoping there's somehow a ground wire waiting there in the box to make it a very easy upgrade. What are the chances of that though? lol

But if there isn't, I'm not sure if it's worth the upgrade? The electrical panel is down a finished hallway then at the other side of the semi-finished garage. If I have to run a new cable, it will almost certainly require breaking into the drywall.

If it's not an easy upgrade, would you just keep the 3 prong? The washer/dryer is stacked and sitting on a concrete floor, but I wear crocs in the house and could even get a thick rubber mat to put on the floor in front of the washer/dryer.

But also, I've been using the 3 prong one with my current dryer for 5 years (since I bought the house), and presumably the previous owners used it for 7 years before that without issue.

My brain keeps going back and forth. I overthink things and have some anxiety. I know the best thing to do is to do the upgrade, but is that worth the cost and time of cutting into drywall if the wire isn't already there?

I have a 2015 and I'm looking at upgrading to a newer model sometime in the next 5 years. I am playing around with 2door builds on the website and I cannot for the life of me find a way to remove the sunroof. After some quick research, it looks like there is no longer an option to do so at all?

When did the option to remove the sunroof go away? I am hoping this is a temporary issue (supply chain or similar).

Hi all! I’m running into a bit of a snag finding the record of birth for my great grandfather. I waited two months for it only to unfortunately hear that the town of North Adams has no records for him.

I checked the town of Adams since it looks like they were the same town as North Adams until 1878, but they are telling me to check with North Adams for anything prior to 1878.

I’ve checked the digital MA state records archive on family search and while I see a few records with him mentioned, I can’t find his birth record, specifically.

I have reached out to the reference staff at the MA archives but I thought I’d also try asking here in case there’s something obvious I’m missing in Family Search or otherwise.

My goal is to locate where it is so that I can order a certified copy. Thanks in advance for any assistance! I’m dumping all the info I have below:

How do I select 2+ items (but not all items) in my SDB to move them into my inventory in one go? Am I missing something? It's annoying to have to type in my pin for each item.

edit: I see I was missing the checkbox. this wasn't intuitive at all for me because I was "selecting" the items by increasing the counter by 1. like 1 eo codestone, 2 vo codestone, etc. I guess I have to do the number thing AND the checkbox on the side. thank you.

Multiple people in my area are having issues. Support is unhelpful of course and are telling us standard things like rebooting.

The issue is with the hub in our area dropping packets. We had this issue a few months ago and after multiple people in my neighborhood emailing exec-escalation@lumen.com they sent someone to look at the hub and were able to fix the problem.

Unfortunately, we are having the same issues again. Multiple people confirming high ping and packet loss sporadically but at the same time across people in the same neighborhood, all running different equipment. We have people tracking this.

I reached out to that email and they told us they no longer manage QF so we need to reach out to QF support.

Which is totally fair, I know AT&T bought it from lumen. But support is unhelpful and doesn’t understand what we are saying. We need to escalate this to someone.

Is there a new email address for escalating cases, similar to what exec-escalation@lumen.com was before?

I’m near the junction and the last two nights I can really smell the ocean up here!

I’m curious what conditions make it so that sometimes the smell carries all the way up here. It’s not especially windy or anything. Is there something funky going on in the water itself right now? Is it something about the atmospheric conditions? Is it a combination of a lot of things?

Curious minds need to know! TIA.
