How does a woman asking you out impact how you see her ?

If a woman you're attracted to (or at least open to getting to know) asks you out first or tells you she has feelings for you, does that change how you view her or the potential relationship?

I've seen several women say that when a woman shoots her shot, it sets the tone for the relationship because it unintentionally puts her in the more traditionally masculine role.

That it can lead to her being the one who always plans dates, initiates conversations, etc.

What do you think ?

attraction or just workplace friendliness?

I (25F) started a job about 6 months ago. There's a guy at work that I'm attracted to. We don't work together directly and are in different departments. He's significantly more senior in his department than I am in mine (he's been with the company about 5 years, I’ve been here about 6 months). He's also older than me, probably by 5-10 years, I’m mid 20s, he’s probably early to mid 30s.

For the first few months, we only really exchanged occasional "hi," "morning," etc. whenever we crossed paths in hallways or the kitchen.

After about 4 months of seeing/greeting each other regularly, he introduced himself to me. During that conversation he asked some follow-up questions and seemed engaged. Despite being in another department , he also somehow knew specific things about me. The next day, he made a very intentional point of saying good morning ( it wasn’t completely out of his way, but the situation would have been slightly more natural for him to NOT say morning). On another occasion, he was in the middle of talking to someone and stopped his conversation briefly to acknowledge me & say hello when I walked by.

Over time, he was usually the one greeting me first. I also noticed him looking at me quite a bit and generally being very aware of my presence. If I walked into a room/passed by, he often seemed to notice & would stare a lot.

What never happened: He never asked for my number, or tried to spend time with me outside work, never really escalated beyond greetings and a few brief conversations.

For context, I'm also pretty reserved, have avoidant tendencies and probably hard to read. I rarely initiated conversations, avoided eye contact more than I should have, and probably gave off "polite but closed" energy.

My question is: from a male perspective, does this sound like possible attraction/interest, or does it sound more like workplace friendliness and familiarity?

Fire Finale was hard on the eyes

That finale was hard to watch . I really hope the new show runner turns the show around. Cause at this point , I think most people are just watching cause of the potential of the show , not what it actually is.

Question: why is it only Fire that has budget & storyline issues ?

All three shows are not as good as the earlier seasons & some episodes are better that others , but Fire is consistently boring , always has several cast members missing w some bullshit excuse- out of town training, Isiah’s mom isn’t doing well, etc. & some sleep-inducing storyline like Mouch writing a smut novel (🫪), Hermann doing some kind of commercial , etc .
