I have a hard time finding works like this and so I’d love to see something!
I love:
- no home
- omniscient reader’s viewpoint
- yugami kun has no friends
- csm
- veil
- Miniamaru kareshi
- my little monster
- ramparts of ice
- Sangatsu wa Ore-sama ni narimasu
I don’t mind if they have chemistry or not as long as they’re friends primarily, and aren’t a couple. They both shouldn’t show interest to each other in the work, like I don’t want them to be second male leads or something.
I have a hard time finding anime (or works generally) like this and so I’d love to see something! Manga recs are also okay. I read more than I watch though so I’d def prefer some anime recs primarily.

I love, love, love pink candy kiss and revolutionary girl utena, and I’d love to read something more like this.
I’m a uni student and like, I really, really need to work on this, but going to office hours is super intimidating to me and then talking with them makes me feel really awkward, like I’m messing up by asking them questions. And I don’t know how to sag bye. I just say an awkward ‘um, thank you so much’ before leaving, and that is so not going to help me build connections in the future.
I want to build connections with them and talk to them freely, how am I supposed to do that? I stammer a little naturally and when I get an unimpressed vibe from them my stammering increases exponentially and the urge to run away hits me.
I’m so, so, so jealous of people who just chat with their profs easily, that was me in school and yet for some reason I can’t do it in uni. Does anyone have any advice, or is it that I should just attend office hours from the start of the semester?
The thing is why would I be attending office hours if I don’t have any questions? What is considered the start?? The very first office hour? What’s the point in going to that? Someone please help me out I’m way too old to be this stupid.
I really liked nippon sangoku and eva (esp the last two eps and the movie) and I’ve been enjoying sparks of tomorrow. I love their surrealist vibe and would love some similar recommendations! Just works that are out there and interesting.
My mom(50F) and I(21F) were basically talking about how women often aren’t taken seriously when they’re raped and how difficult it can be to report sexual assault. In my country, victims are frequently blamed or looked down on, while people often act like false allegations are this massive, common threat even though actual rape happens way, wayyy more often, obviously.
My mom mentioned that one of my cousins said he’s afraid of false allegations, that women are so scary, and that’s why he doesn’t want to marry. She told me they’d argued about it, and I got mad too, like commiserating yk?
In the heat of the moment, I said yeah, especially him. How can he say that when he goes from woman to woman every month? There was a brief pause, and my mom moved on. A second later, I realized what I’d just said and immediately said ah I shouldn’t have said that huh?
She immediately went like yeah, you shouldn’t have. You’re doing the same thing he’s doing. Who are you to judge him over something like that?
I agreed right away and said she was right, that I shouldn’t have said it and that I felt ashamed for saying it. She replied, yeah, you should and I again said that what I’d said wasn’t okay. After another couple of minutes, she told me to stop thinking about it because it was obvious I was starting to overthink.
Then I had to leave for an online class, but I still feel really guilty. I was essentially slut-shaming him, and that was really fucked of me, I was being hypocritical.
Now I’m wondering whether I should bring it up again and apologize/reiterate that what I said wasn’t okay. I already acknowledged it in the moment, but I worry I did it a little too casually. Would bringing it up again after my class be an overreaction? My class gets over like 2 hours later, and my mom usually doesn’t like it when I bring something up once it’s over and done with. But I wanna apologise again, I feel like I was way too chill the first time around and I wanna make sure my mom understands that I understand that I was really wrong.
To be clear, I’m not asking whether what I said was wrong. I already know it was. I’m only asking whether apologizing for it again a few hours later would be excessive.
When I talk in a group it weirdly quiets down, or people skip over my points sometimes. Not when it comes to academics—I know what I’m talking about. But with socialisation I seem to constantly say odd or irrelevant things, but I have no fucking clue that I’m saying them! I just know that it’s weird after there’s like a slight silence or complete lack of attention to what I’ve said.
I’m pretty sure I’m not autistic (I’ve taken the assessment, I do have adhd though) and I have close friends, like genuine good close friends who are socially savvy. So what the fuck, yo? Does anyone know how to spot what’s off about yourself or have any advice for me? One on one interactions I’m perfect with but the bigger the group the more awkward it seems to get.
Any works that have a female mc and is really scary?? Like genuine horror? Preferably with some sort of a game/rule-based story?
I love those sort of characters. The one I’m currently reading is ENNEAD and I love how much of everything he’s doing derives from doubt and self-hatred. I love them suffering, preferably destroying everything around them and everyone they love out of self-destruction.
When I look at photos I find so much to nitpick and when I put on makeup I overthink about whether it’s too cakey or not but when it’s just me looking into the mirror, most of the time I feel really good. I don’t know how to say it, but when I look into the mirror at myself, I think how can someone not love this face? Like I truly adore my face and wouldn’t want to alter it, ever. But I don’t feel that way when I take photos. I feel trash and terrible when I take photos, unless it’s a rare good one, I mentally fixate on features I don’t like seeing on my face, like it’s the exact opposite of looking at myself in the mirror.
I wonder if anyone else relates to this?
I’d really like to particularly read something like—
Mc and ml were enemies in a past life, and they both reincarnated either to the same world or to a completely different world, and no one knows but them.
But anything goes!
For some reason I can’t type as much as I could before but I have the ultra subscription.
I know sometimes they take time to show up, but I just want to make sure that it’s not just me and that it hasn’t shown up for others as well.
