I had a second interview with a company and there was HM, HR and Team Lead. The whole interview went smooth and great and then HR asked we have very less turnover but we see that you were only 5 months in your last position and you’re already looking for a new job. To which I politely said that I was a part of a departmental layoff. And she said how can you prove that you will remain dedicated to us? I have no idea at this point what made me lose it completely maybe its being unemployed for a while and I said well if we are to talk about dedication I closed a client account with more than expected budget for our agency while I was actively miscarrying. And they went silent and team lead who was a guy said we are very sorry for your loss and then the interview went on with a bit more technical questions. And they invited me for final round before finishing up.

So, Idk if my lashing out in honesty was really worth it.

I have 2 tickets for Bruno Mars show on 27th - unfortunately I have a medical procedure a day before BUT I dont want to miss Bruno Mars. Would anyone be willing to exchange tickets with me?

I (30F) moved to anew country 5 years ago with my husband. Made a solid group of friends and my nature is of a giver. In multiple stances I have cancelled very important things in my life to be present for this group of friends. My husband and I very close to this particular couple in the group. I would babysit their child when they go for vacation for a couple of weeks, be the first one to plan massive birthdays, be there is they are sick etc etc.

I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune condition and need chemo for it. It happens twice a week for me. However, the same friend’s group who I am there for even 4am in the morning never ask about it. Never cater to the meetups no matter how tired or sick I am. Recently during one of my chemo my husband has to travel for work. He tried to cancel but he couldn’t because its mandatory and he is the only one earning I can’t work so he didn’t push much. I asked the wife (from the couple I mentioned earlier) and she said she wont be able to do it and I blurted why? To which she said she already committed to a lunch plan. I said okay. I stopped messaging them, stopped going to their place frequently and no one seem to care?? AITAH to want to cut this group completely?

I was going through hiring process with a company. Stage 1 was video call with HR, stage 2 was video call with Hiring manager, stage 3 was an assignment which I completed and received a rejection email with zero feedback. I buckled up and professionally thanked them and asked for the feedback. Very next day they give me a call and tell me it was a mistake and ask me if I am still available and I was available so I said yes and they invited me for a final panel interview. The panel interview went really well, the hiring manager kept complimenting throughout the interview and I received the literally SAME rejection email like the previous rejection email today. With zero feedback! Who does that after so much back and forth and all these states? I am upset at being rejected but more than that I am angry at the fact how employers get away with ChatGPT coded rejections??!!

I dont understand the hate Hania Aamir gets on this sub. Like I understand people think she is a clout chaser, attention seeking B etc etc etc. but here is a thing she knows the social media game very well. Her fan following is very respectful unlike Bilal’s, Ali Rehman’s or other celebs. You want to talk about her wearing mask at Asim’s concert but you also want to hate on her lol.

I am not her fan or anything. The only drama I have ever watched of hers is KMKT and we really need to stop hating for the sake of it. Like even when Mahnoor Rahim outed the guy instead of calling the guy out people were bashing Hania for being friends with him??!!! Like why is it easier for us to hate? You have so many PTV celebs who genuinely deserve this bashing like Danish Taimoor, Feroze Khan, Hira Mani yet we are stuck on Hania Aamir.
