Need help fixing my cloudy new Lava Lamp
Hiya folks! Hope all is well.
So, for my birthday this year my sister got me a genuine Lava Lamp, but sadly it's awful cloudy... This is the second one now, we returned the first 'cause it was just as cloudy. I've tried all the advice on how to fix it, including the instructions that came with the lamp (Let it sit for 8 hours, turn it on just until the wax gets warm, turn it off until the lamp is cool, then run it for 8-10 hours) but nothing has worked! I think it's plain I need to actually open up the lamp to fix it, I've heard talks about people "filtering" their lamps on here to fix cloudiness. Question is, How do I do that? What are the steps, what materials will I need to do it? I'm a complete noob when it comes to Lava Lamps, this is my first one. Any & all help is appreciated, thanks in advance!
