Is it harder to get in with only 8 GCSEs?

Ok so earlier today I sat my GCSE computer science paper 2 exam and it did not go well. I do 9 GCSEs but let’s say I hypothetically fail 1. My 6th form is locked in and I’ve got 0 chance of not getting in to that. I am going to take Maths, Physics and Chemistry and Further Maths depending on GCSE grade.

I want to go to Oxford Brookes because of their motorsport course if that helps.

So providing I get the A Level grades, will I be at any disadvantage or not allowed with only 8 GCSEs / 1 failed GCSE?

Is it harder to get in with only 8 GCSEs? Specifically Motorsport engineering.

Oxford Brookes is my dream uni because of their motorsport courses so I really want to get in.

So providing I get the A Level grades, will I be at any disadvantage or not allowed with only 8 GCSEs / 1 failed GCSE?

Can anyone give me a good reason for why Rowan Atkinson has not been given a knighthood yet?

Widely regarded as a national treasure, yet he still does not have a knighthood. Yes I know he has a CBE but surely he deserves a knighthood. I mean they gave Jimmy Savile knighthood yet Mr Bean, Johnny English and Blackadder does get one.

How come Jimmy Broadbent is right foot braking in N24?

Was watching the N24 broadcast and it cut to an onboard of Jimmy’s car and then went to a pedal cam and he was only using his right foot and right foot breaking. Is it because of an injury or something wrong with his left leg or something else entirely?

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Now and Then, 2 and a half years on from its release?

I know the ai and the ethics of it is questionable but, just talking about the music, I do quite like the song. I think the music video is a bit strange and uncanny valley with the ai John and George. I’m pleased that it was a song that was more restored and remastered by ai, rather than a song made up from new, that an ai John Lennon voice sung. I feel like the lyrics sort of took on a new meaning and if I didn’t know the background of what John wrote it because of, I would have guessed Paul wrote it recently about how he missed John and George.

Do you need a decent laptop for Motorsport Engineering?

I am going to start my A-Levels next year and need a laptop for it. I want to study motorsport engineering after that. Should I buy a more powerful laptop now that I can use at university? Do motorsport engineering students need to run any simulations or CFD or CAD on their own laptops, if so should I get a better laptop? For example, I am looking at new MacBooks, should I get the processor with 10 GPU cores instead of the standard 8? And should I get the upgraded memory and get 24gb or 32gb or is 16 fine? How much storage as well?

Currently running around a 39.055 average. The only setup change is +7 on the weight jacker. What should I do with the hybrid? charge in corners and deploy coming out or just dump all on lap 1 and just run WOT with no deploy for the other 3 laps?

I am pretty busy at the minute but really want to run the Indy 500. I know that there is separate qualifying during the week, if I participate in that but then are not able to do the race, will I have a loss of iRating or safety rating because of it?

Last day before we go on study leave tomorrow and my first exam is Friday. Lots of shirt signing done, big football game at lunch with the rest of the school watching, and a barbecue and games for the last 2 periods of the day.
