Sony Playstation enters the slow death mode era, Their days are numbered now tbh and Microsoft gonna take full advantage of that to rise up again and back to the glorious XBOX 360 days.

A player booted up his old PS3 to play Metal Gear Solid 4, but discovered he could no longer access the digital games tied to his PlayStation account.

The player said Sony had deleted his account due to inactivity:
“Sony deleted my whole account due to inactivity…. I hate Sony but this just made me hate them more.”
Sony’s terms allow accounts to be closed after 36 months of continuous inactivity, although users are supposed to be notified and given time to log back in.
It’s another reminder of the downside of digital ownership: if you lose access to your account, you can potentially lose access to the games tied to it.
