Well, that didn't work

Well, that didn't work

This was supposed to be pastel. It's like a darkish grape. Is there anything I can do to fix it short of clarifying shampoos and waiting for it to fade?

Best place for snack delivery?

My nephew just moved in and I wanted to send him a treat. Is there somewhere local for cookies or anything? Thought I'd try that before mailing. I don't know the area and am not having much success looking online.

decent bratwurst?

Any place in Cary or Apex that makes a nice bratwurst? I'm not opposed to food trucks or hot dog carts.

Lost my cat

My cat somehow snuck out and I didn't even notice for at least a day. Just assumed she was hiding. I spent so long searching inside before it occurred to me to look outside that it was too dark to see. I sat by the back door all night! Found her the next day in the woods.

I called my brother in tears. His response was, "yeah, that sucks"! He's not a teen, he's 51! He also has cats!

I have no one to talk to and the guilt is eating me up!

Have you seen my cat?

I haven't seen my cat, Smudge, for over 24 hours. Not sure if she slipped out while the front door was open or what. I live near the intersection of Dynasty and Evans.

She's very skittish and will probably bolt if you approach. She doesn't go outside alone, so she's not exactly street smart. Please message me if you see her!

Meal replacement drinks without stevia or sucralose?

I just got diagnosed and started Pantoprazole on Monday. Until it kicks in, I'm trying to eat simply to stop my poor stomach from hurting. Things like Ensure and Boost are pretty expensive but also all seem to have sucralose. Carnation ready-made products all have stevia. I can do the powder and mix my own, but is there a better (not tragically expensive) product without alternative sweeteners? I just hate that taste, you know?

old images of Repon St/Merryweather Rd

does anyone have a photo of the intersection of Repon St & Merryweather Rd back before the roads were connected? Mid 1970s? My family lived there before but my brothers are too young to remember it.

local honey

Looking for nice local honey. Recommendations in Cary other than farmers market? I'm just lazy on Saturdays and never make it there 🙄

tried a new shampoo

tried Method volumizing shampoo for the first time, got it cheaper from Ollie's. Wow! My hair is so soft and actually has some volume! And my normally dry scalp hasn't been itchy today! Happy!

I need to make arrangements for my parents's gravesite, but they're in a mausoleum and you wouldn't believe the wind that blows next to that wall! Any suggestions for stores with quality artificial flowers? I looked at Michaels, but everything was either too delicate or looked too fake.

I haven't been in a while, it's gotten a little expensive for me, but thought I'd treat myself for lunch. Got there a bit before noon and there was ONE customer! Is it always that slow? Used to be packed at lunchtime!

I've gotten salmon filets from my local supermarket packed in like brown sugar bourbon marinade, and they're nice, but I feel like it could be better.

I currently have bottles of Paul Masson Red Berry brandy, Jim Beam honey liqueur, lime Bacardi, and some blackberry wine. What could I make with these? My go-to is using preserves or spreads (fig, marmalades, fruit spreads) on salmon when air frying. Not looking for spicy or buttery. Just a simple glaze/sauce/marinade. Also have cinnamon, honey, and cardamom on hand.
