caught her red-handed moving piles of dirt into her water bowl, looked closer and, pretty sure that’s another egg sac in her legs. at least i am sure it’s not fertilized, hopefully Kittie realizes too and discards it (she did last time she laid an egg sac, not the first time when i had to remove it myself). here we go for round 3..

hi, title.. please show examples of your enclosures or share some tips. my sling, Banshee, is still too small to size up his enclosure but i’m currently planning out his next one.
i ofc want to make the enclosure as comfortable as possible for him. advice on what decorations to get (and the best place to buy them), how to plan the layout, and any other tips greatly appreciated!!!!! :)
this is Banshee, my lasiodora parahybana sling, unsexed . i don’t try to handle him or bother him at all, i only open the lid on his cup to spray water/feed. but any time i even approach or open the lid he freaks out and runs away and hides in the moss. i don’t mind if hes just shy ofc, but i also don’t want him to be stressed, and i’m worried that getting startled so often would be causing him stress. is this normal behavior ? just a shy personality ? is there a way to make him more comfortable or less scared of me ?

hi guys sorry for not posting my girl in forever , she’s been doing really great ! after her whole egg sac event it took a while to regain her trust. she was mostly hiding and was very defensive for a few weeks, attacking her water as i refilled it and stuff like that (thankfully never bit me haha). but now she is back to her old self and she still loves exploring , drinking from her paintbrush, and running onto my hand to crawl around my fingers haha. i put my hand in, and she ran right out of her hide onto me so i took these pics on monday. it was my birthday so maybe she knew and was wishing me a happy birthday, lol!!! tigrosa annexa .
