The early 2010's was the worst time of the twenty first century for pop music

I remember in sometime in the late 2000's and early 2010's pop music started to sound like electro-pop and club music. I think Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas had something to do with it. A lot of people say that pop music is bad now but I genuinely think that the early 2010's takes the shit cake.

LMFAO, Kesha, some of the Black Eyed Peas music, Andy Grammar, Far East Movement (Rocketeer), Ylvis (What Does The Fox Say?), Silento (Whip and Nae Nae), Pitbull, Flo Rida, Taio Cruz, all of that shit was so bad and I don't know how people listened to it lol. On top of that there was this annoying hipster pop like Lumineers and Mumford and Sons that made me wanna blow my eardrums out.

Sure, every year has bad music but in the early 2010's it was REALLY BAD. But what did ya'll think about the music back then?

Does anybody else constantly lie about your college degree to other people?

So, I'm on summer break at my college right now and when people ask about my degree I tend to lie about it most of the time

Right now I have a bachelor's degree in general studies. Before that I switched my major 3 times (Nursing, Computer Science, Dietetics) and it didn't work out. So, I just figured screw it. I'll just get a degree and graduate and move on with my life.

But when people (frequently strangers and loose acquaintances) ask me at college or my hometown what I'm graduating in I usually tell them that I'm graduating as a registered dietitian, even though I'm not.

Just to preface, I haven't lied to EVERYONE. I've told my family and a handful of other people what my real major is. But if it's a stranger or loose acquaintance? I almost always lie.

Whenever I tell people I'm graduating in general studies they almost have NOTHING positive to say to me. So what's the point of telling the truth? If people don't have anything good to say to me I'd rather just lie about it.

Has anyone else ever done the same thing?

Are "southern etiquette" and "manners" a real thing in the southern states?

I've heard from other people that southern etiquette and manners are a cultural trait in the South. Like for example: kids saying "yes ma'am/sir or no ma'am/sir" to their parents or superiors

Do people really talk this way in the South? Or is it just a stereotype?

How do people in construction deal with mental health issues? Ex. Depression, substance abuse, anxiety, PTSD.

I know that a lot of the workplace cultures in construction want their workers to be "tough", so I understand there's sometimes a stigma and reluctance to seek help.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is NOT overrated

Before I played Red Dead Redemption 2 I didn't know video games could be as compelling as movies or high concept television. While I was playing this game it literally felt like watching a 60 hour Clint Eastwood movie, and I mean one of the really good one's like "Unforgiven" or "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly".

Some people on the internet say the gameplay is overrated, but it really isn't. Roaming around the world on a horse for the first time, interacting with NPC's, finding secrets, doing side missions, reading Arthur's diary, etc.

All of that IS the gameplay. And the gunplay was really good as well. Sure, it was easy but getting good head shots felt really "weighty" and satisfying, and not at all clunky like the first Red Dead Game.

The reason people call it the best game they ever played is because of the immersive world, deep narrative, and incredible performances by the cast. The gameplay isn't like God of War, but it doesn't have to be and it's excellent for the kind of game it is. That's why I don't think this game is overrated in the slightest

People who played Shadow of the Colossus on PS2, did you notice how bad the frame rate was?

I heard that the OG Shadow of Colossus on PS2 frequently got in the Sub-20 range. Did ya'll notice how badly it performed back then?

Any other games as scary (or scarier) than Resident Evil 7?

Hey guys, I finished Resident Evil 7 about a month ago and it blew my mind. Before that I never played any other Resident Evil game.

So after that I played Resident Evil 2 and 4, which were good but not as scary as RE7.

I'm looking for another scary horror game to scratch my adrenaline rush itch. Anyone know any games as scary (or scarier) than RE7?

We all know everyone loves our man Bubba, so let's get him in 2v8!!!!

He would be very easy to implement as well, just tweak his chainsaw speed a little bit and maybe give him an extra charge.

Upvote this post so the dev's get Bubba in 2v8
