Вкратце-я пишу фэнтези в современном сеттинге,либо ближайшего будущего. Магия нескольких элементов соседствует с смартфонами,рекламными экранами и самолётами. Не альтернативная история-совершенно другая планета.

Контекст:

Алиса Крин-19-летняя девушка, маг пространства и света(та самая магия элементов выше), известная в своей сфере как мастер порталов и иллюзий(игры света). Она-теневой телохранитель короля одной страны (в данном контексте её название и расположение не особенно важны), играющая роль убийцы тех, кто покушается на его жизнь. Из-за неряшливого вида, растрёпанных волос и постоянно сонного выражения лица, при дворе её прозвали «Спящей красавицей».

Месяц из её жизни сделан в виде дневника в формате диктофонных записей.

In my world, the main misconception is that tiny countries suffer, believing that there is nothing beyond their borders and they are the only ones in the world.

but things are a little different in my world. due to the peculiarities of the growth of power and the lack of magical continuity (magic can be used by everyone, but its type is random, and not transmitted from parent to child), the rules of the world do not prohibit the situation when yesterday's peasant, suffering from the prince's extortion, will not be stopped tomorrow by either the prince's army or his personal guard of the best fighters in the countryeven if they crowd in.

and in such a situation, when power cannot be held by force (one's own or someone else's), what qualities of a ruler can allow them to retain power? and most importantly, what qualities make it possible to maintain its continuity?

my option was to retain power through charisma and intelligence, but I don't consider this a reliable way because any charisma fades and any intelligence is eclipsed.

another option is money. but this does not solve the problem of the seizure of power. because if a person can take everything, why should he be content with little?

The third option is a lack of interest in seizing power from the people. Conditionally, when everything is fine, why overthrow the ruler, even if many can easily do it alone. but I'm not sure about that.

This dress never gets dirty and gives the bride a kind of icy aura, allowing her to ignore the heat.

The name of the dress goes back to the legend of a princess who married an ice dragon to stop its attacks, and the dress was his gift. Although the legend itself doesn’t fit together well (if only because the only ice dragon is a girl), the dress is a quite real artifact. The owner of this ring is Nala, the crown princess of the Nikaag Empire — the largest and most powerful state in my world. Her father, Emperor Kognar, gave it to her on her 20th birthday. This ring is made of white steel. If we consider white steel as a resource, its price will be low—no higher than that of ordinary silver. However, white steel is not a resource, and this is all because it is the strongest metal in my world, which is practically impossible to work with. The ring is the only item made from this metal. The amount of money invested in the production of this ring turned out to be so substantial that, if we imagine a black gold coin weighing 20 grams (80 million ordinary gold bars), more than 200,000 such coins would be needed. And about 190,000 of these coins would be used to pay the services of those directly responsible for the ring’s production, while the remaining 10,000 would be used for the construction and operation of power plants and a laser. Nikaag Empire is the only state on the planet that has enough resources to make such a ring on its own.
