Tried this race 3 times. First was realizing I couldn't make it without stopping on mediums. Second had an early safety car which I didn't pit for bc I thought it was gonna say out for at least one full lap like it did before. And then with this ine i realize even running on low the entire race with Fuel Economy on STILL won't let Medlin make it without stopping.

I don't see the point in keeping going. I'm managing the wheels off this team to get them to 6th, but unless one of their cars crashes, Rezzato and Windsor ALWAYS end up faster than me. I know its only a matter of time before my chairman gives me the impossible ultimatum that fires me and it'll be over bc Chariot's manager (who I want to take the place of) only has Uneasy status and not At Risk, which I don't see changing because of how slow MacNail and Van Dort are.

Octane Racing's story ends here, stuck in the midfield of the WMC.

I pitted Saarinen for Wets at literally the perfect time to be able to rapidly catch Chapman, but the fact that mother nature decided to make the rain clear up when it did meant Chapman, who was on very old Inters, still managed to get past him again and there was nothing I could do.

Main career: I know there's no way I can beat Windsor with Octane so I can finish 6th and keep my job. With either them or Rezzato always showing me up somehow and me unable to get ANY points because of that, its only a matter of time before my chairman gives me an impossible ultimatum and its game over. I'm not gonna bother wasting any more time.

Also tried the Underdog Challenge. Would've done great in the first race thanks to a safety car crash with rain...only for ANOTHER safety car crash to absolutely ruin my strategy and set them to the back again with their Inters being too worn while everyone else got theirs on the second. And I don't think it would've mattered even if it did work bc I can't get reliability of everything up fast enough for nothing to blow up anyway. I'm not going through that again for an entire SEASON just for the CHANCE that MAYBE we'll beat a team or two next year.

I'm doing absolutely *everything* right with NO mistakes and the best I can with every single mode, and it's STILL not enough to get reasonable objectives done. Playsport, this is just ridiculous and your game is not and has never been worth my time. Unless your chairman gives more team position options instead of just three that leave gaps (for example, if chairman thinks I'll finish 5th, then all 5 options from 3rd-7th should be available), I doubt the sequel will be any different.
