Made Primal Gourmets viral Chicken Gyros on my Yoder!

Not to the tee, but pretty close! Also added grilled peppers! My wife had GYRO Bread and I ate Joseph’s Lavash due to carb levels. The Tzatziki Sauce and Cucumber Salad were incredible! Yoder killed the cook, crispy edges and nice tender center.

Got back to Rucking Today.

Took a little time off and was running and lifting - primarily due to weather and road work where I Ruck. Was a good refresher! 35lb GoRuck and 4 miles of gravel hills. Worked in some sprints and splits.

Tremor Doing Tremor Things #2

I caught some heat last time for loading 50 bags of mulch straight into the bed of my F150 Tremor. Fair enough… but this time I brought out the big guns.
Meet my girl and her trusty Big Tex dual-axle trailer hauling 80 bags. Way more stable, no drama, and still smiling at the end.
Who else is out here moving mountains (of mulch) this season? Redemption achieved? 😎

Tremor Doing Tremor Stuff

Neighbor borrowed my Big Tex dual axel.. needed 100 bags of mulch, but could only do 50.. was worried more would kill it! It drove fine and handled the weight well. Tremor “Squat Day”!!

A lot of hype out there about the @Huber Products “Splits Basket”, and honestly I’ve been tempted. But I decided to just take my Weber Charcoal Basket, load it up with 4 ash covered briquettes, and drop some Apple Chunks in it and get it smoking. Once that was done I merely placed it on the bottom grate (holes facing airflow), just to see if it made a difference in flavor and color. I was running RECTEC premium pellets (white oak, hickory and red oak). Place the ribs on top and let it run. For the most part it ran well, had one big temp spike due to basket being to close to temp probe. Otherwise worked pretty well! Cheaper and easier to manage since I pulled it during the spike, let it settle and replaced it. Ribs were awesome! Have lots of Oakridge BBQ Seasoning (out of business now 😩) and used their competition pork rub.
