2021 F150 TREMOR updated ceramic.

My ceramic was outdated and not looking very good.. found a local company that gave me another 5 year coating at a reasonable price. They detailed the hell out of it! Antimatter Blue and posted separately on the SF1 Gloss Black new flares (still on fence) ..

Went ahead and added the Rough Country Fender Flares to Tremor.

I’m torn if I like the gloss black on the Antimatter Blue. Tomorrow they finish the ceramic coat they’ll do the fender flares and interior also. Going to see how it looks they were on sale by getting anti-Matt matched which was about $350 more. I’d like everyone’s thoughts on what they think.

Consistent Temp

I have been running this brisket all night and most of yesterday. Little experiment.. anyway changed up my fans this past week and it’s much quieter and also seems to have less large fluctuations in temp. Love the FireBoard App!

BAD HAMBRES

I make my own burritos, wraps and enchiladas but always use premade/packaged shells. Came across BAD HAMBRES on the Instagram and decided to give them a try. I’m wonder white but love all ethnic foods, and these mail order burritos don’t disappoint (myself and wife). The tortillas even after air fry reheat are incredibly soft and tender. The beans inside are perfectly seasoned and super creamy. Just a good all around snack to have on hand. I add extra sauce on top and sour cream!! 🔥.. next order will be the Verde vice the reds..

Weber Kettle, SPIDER and Chuck Riblets

Ran for 5 hours - wrapped at 170 and unfortunately ran out of paper and had to use aluminum foil. Turned out awesome! No complaints. Used Holy Cow Rub, Brisket Mop and Campbell’s beef consume.

Weber/Spider Controller - Spatchcock Chicken

Was going to smoke, and had a nice snake going. Wife came out and said she wanted more crispy skin.. so I upped the heat and let the spider do its thing. She had “sheets of crispy skin “ with her perfectly juicy breast meat. I made a chopped dark meat sandwich with Carolina Sauce.. it was super good. Had great smoke notes from the pecan and hickory, but also crisped up all around..

WEBER Kettle creation coming along!

Got my Woolly Bully, Vortex and Spider Venom running today for some grilled chicken. Still waiting on Spider Legs and Webcraft! Pretty excited, I have been running this more than any other grill I have including my YODER YS640.

- Pretty darn good

We just got a new ninja slushi and like everyone we’re looking for recipes. Found this company and ordered a few of their mixes. My wife loves espresso martinis and Mudslides (which we’ve made from instagram recipes) but trying an Espresso Martini slushed peaked our interest. I have a huge collection of bourbon and enjoy sipping as well. So as you can see we ordered 4 packs from this company and wanted to share that the Bahama Mama
On Taco Night didn’t disappoint! Following the instructions, fill and let the machine work! Looking forward to trying all of them.

Ran a pork butt.. Spyder Venom Controller is a game changer

Started on a Weber (performer deluxe), years ago.. upgraded to stick burner, pit barrel, Rectec and now Yoder. Weber wasn’t really getting used much, decided to part with Performer, and begin building out a Weber Spyder collaboration. Here was my smoke run from last night.. the thing performed great. Snake method, honey hog rub, pecan and oak wood pieces. Can’t wait for the Spyder legs and Webcraft insert!

Decided to get rid of Weber Performer Deluxe and switch my Weber cooking up. Ordered the Venom controller, Cart and Webcraft! Going full Weber Frankenstein.. added controller today and ran some chicken thighs, have to say; I’m
Loving it! Can’t wait to let my Yoder rest and run a long smoke.

Finally - received my booklet and separate letter in the mail IRT SUPPLEMENT!!

Well I won’t go into great detail, but my package appears to be completed. Here is what I will tell ya:

*DRP 2.0 Retired on 9/30
*OPM received package via ORA 10/17
*700 Hrs AL PAID mid Oct 2025
*OPM interim annuity payments (30%) Nov 2026
*Nothing heard between Nov 2025 - April 2026
* last week of April 2026 (4th phone call) - was advised I was pending assignment but could be another 3-6 weeks.
* today found email from OPM DTD 5/21 Indicating change in status and booklet ready.

So, now I’m waiting on the rest of lump sum payouts and booklet states July 1st will be a full payment minus the normal deductions I chose.

It’s been one hell of a long wait, a few lean months due to unexpected hiccups at house, otherwise we are looking forward to closing this chapter.

40 years 11 months total in the books!! High 3 was extremely close to HR evaluation, the only thing the booklet doesn’t show is whether I got the 1.7% for 48 months of overseas service with my agency. Will figure that out once I look deeper under hood.

Hang in there, it absolutely stinks that some of you ( like me until yesterday) continue to wait an inordinate amount of time and OPM doesn’t follow a first in and first out process.. glad this is done!! God Speed, and all the best!

Made Primal Gourmets viral Chicken Gyros on my Yoder!

Not to the tee, but pretty close! Also added grilled peppers! My wife had GYRO Bread and I ate Joseph’s Lavash due to carb levels. The Tzatziki Sauce and Cucumber Salad were incredible! Yoder killed the cook, crispy edges and nice tender center.

Got back to Rucking Today.

Took a little time off and was running and lifting - primarily due to weather and road work where I Ruck. Was a good refresher! 35lb GoRuck and 4 miles of gravel hills. Worked in some sprints and splits.

Tremor Doing Tremor Things #2

I caught some heat last time for loading 50 bags of mulch straight into the bed of my F150 Tremor. Fair enough… but this time I brought out the big guns.
Meet my girl and her trusty Big Tex dual-axle trailer hauling 80 bags. Way more stable, no drama, and still smiling at the end.
Who else is out here moving mountains (of mulch) this season? Redemption achieved? 😎

Tremor Doing Tremor Stuff

Neighbor borrowed my Big Tex dual axel.. needed 100 bags of mulch, but could only do 50.. was worried more would kill it! It drove fine and handled the weight well. Tremor “Squat Day”!!
