It’s another double trouble post, Stratocaster edition this time.

Fender American Professional Classic Hotshot Telecaster, featuring Lollar pickups. Faded Sherwood Metallic finish. I actually just listed this one, but it’s pretty cool. Part of me hopes it won’t sell. The neck almost has a little flaming.
After reading so many hysterical comments on Reddit about removing the plastic from the pickguard on a new guitar, I took the plastic off the pickguard on my new Am Pro II Tele Deluxe. Since Fender couldn’t be bothered to cut a hole around the knobs to make removal easy, I pulled the bridge humbucker volume knob off to get the plastic out from underneath. When I reinstalled it I found it no longer automatically stopped when 1 and 10 are reached. It just spins around and around, to infinity and beyond. At 10 it seems to at full volume, and is basically done after 6-7. To be fair, the neck also seems that way and I didn’t uninstall it. So my questions are:
-Am I such a fucking idiot that I can’t even handle removing the plastic from the pickguard without BREAKING my new guitar?
-Am I a fucking idiot and there’s an easy and obvious fix?
-Do I need to take this in to let the fine folks at Guitar Center repair it or make a warranty claim?
-Do I have the guitar or legends that can be cranked to 11+?
-Is this inconsequential and I should just get back to playing?
Fender American Professional II Telecaster and Telecaster Deluxe, both in Dark Night finish. I’m considering selling the standard, but it’s kind of cool having both.
Fender Vintera III Limited Edition Early 60s Custom Telecaster
I love the way this one sounds and looks. It feels great too. 1963 inspired pickups (the words “pure vintage” were not used) along with the double binding and three color burst make this one a real standout!
I tried several classical guitars at Guitar Center today, including a Taylor 214ce-n, a couple Cordobas, and this Lucero Exotic Wood. I thought the Lucero sounded the best out of all of them (with the Taylor as a very close second). What is Lucero’s reputation? Can this $500 Crafted in China guitar really out play a Mexican Taylor? Am I being fooled by the acoustics of the small room they were in?
Fender American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster in Fiesta Red. This one is an independent dealer exclusive featuring a flame satin neck and Custom Shop Fat 60s pickups instead of the normal Pure Vintage set. It’s pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. Happy Straturday guitar pervs.
My Fiesta Red American Vintage II 1961 and I wish a happy Straturday to all who celebrate. This guitar was an independent dealer exclusive and features a satin neck with flaming, and came loaded with Custom Shop Fat 60s pickups instead of the standard Pure Vintage 61 set. Can anyone confirm if this would qualify as a FSR, or does that mean something else?
EBMM Cutlass RS in Sapphire Iris. Roasted maple neck. A beautiful iridescent blue. Sold some things to get this one, and overall I think it was worth it. Awesome neck, great sounding pickups.
I keep trying to convince myself I don’t need it. My FOUR telecasters are enough. But I made the mistake of noodling in it in the store and…well…it sounds good. It looks really nice too. Anyone picked one up and have thoughts on it?
