This has to be one of the bravest things I’ve ever gone thru. My stenosis has gotten so bad my heart was enlarging although I never had any symptoms.
Asked if it could wait till Christmas, but they said I didn’t have that much time. Which is crazy.
Anyways, went ahead and had the surgery yesterday and each passing hour. I feel a little better of course the drugs are kicking in pretty good.
I go on my second walk in a little while and brutal is the only way to describe that lol.
But it’s good for me getting me to cough up this phlegm and hopefully in three days I’ll be back home. They’re pulling me out of ICU today, although I’ll still stay in the same room, because the hospitals under construction.

Less than 48 hours I go for open heart surgery on my aortic valve. Need a replacement.
I’m terrified.
These babies need me and will be so brokenhearted if I don’t make it back home😢💔
Any positivity is greatly appreciated.

He was 4 months old when he had surgery. This was in 2006.
Since we’ve had two more children and they are both Healthy and happy.
I was born with bicuspid aortic… I’m 48. They mentioned a valve about 20 years ago when they discovered the murmur but made it sound like in my sixties or seventies.
Yeah that was my confusion. Now it’s one of my worst fears manifested…I’m the one who’s gotta get the heart surgery.
I’m not doing well with this news. It feels like a death sentence.
Idk I guess I just wanted to tell someone. No friends so…best I can do.

I am probably the only Painter on the planet it does things this way. I never use a bucket grid in my 5 gallons just dip right out of the paint.
And I also cut the ring out of my single gallon with using my five and one. takes literal seconds and you got yourself a perfectly good cut can.
The handle is by Marshalltown and it can just hook onto any single. Has a little magnet in there to hold your brush, which is kind of gimmicky but I do end up using it.
LOL let the flames begin. LOL anytime someone goes outside the norm it’s like sacrilegious.

We don’t hire out much (I try to deal with most of it, but I’ve been busy and these guys could pull the existing insulation, add holes to the bird blocking and re insulate. It’s not cheap:(
You’d think the louvers would be lined up.
When i paint again I’ll deal with the pencil. Although they could have run bead of tape, used a laser. Idk anything but pencil down the middle of my soffit.
More i think about it the crankier I’m getting. My wife is gracefully asking them to fix it.
I paint and do drywall. I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing I left homeowners house looking so out of whack.
