05 Dodge Magnum 3.5l not starting

The last time I tried to start the car. It turned over like normal 2x's and stopped. After that it doesn't even think about turning over. It ran and started fine before this. A while back I had a similar issue, I brought it to a shop and I was some wiring to the starter that was repaired.

1989 12hp Briggs.

Trying to get a 89 12hp Briggs running. It hasn't run in 8 years I've been told.

So far I cleaned out the fuel tank and pump. It starts but only stays running if I pour gas in the carb. Before I take more of it apart do you think it just needs a good carb cleaning or is this a different issue?

A good carburetor cleaning is next on my list, I just want to take apart as little as I need to.

Found a couple of wildflowers in Nebraska.

Hoping to add to my wildflower garden at home "Wisconsin" I found these wildflowers and am wondering what kind they are and if they would be a good fit in a dry Sandy wildflower garden. In the first picture, the tall sliver one's.

Without any human contact, how long would it take before having permanent side effects?

I like to watch the TV show "ALONE". A person is dropped off in the wilderness alone to survive as long as they can completely alone. As the episodes roll on i notice odd changes and even expressions from the people on the show. I always think about when these people get back to civilization they gotta be a little messed up just from being alone for so long.

Where's the line between reactive and protective?

Just for example, I am walking my dog on a leash that's typically great with other dogs and another off leash dog comes running, my dog reacts by protecting?

Another example, normally great with people but I am walking a person aggressively comes up to me and tries to pick a fight or attack me and my dog reacts to the situation.

Is that considered a reactive dog?

See what happens when you mix a apbt and a boxer.

Full contact zoomies!! Every time she gets the zoomies inside or out it becomes an full contact sport. Anyone else's dog do this?

Imagine your employer trading you for a different employee.

Just imagine your employer coming up to you and saying, okay we traded you for "x" person from a different company. You have to work for a different company across the state now. Have a nice day.

Sniff walks pt.2

I've been trying to get my dog to walk "normal" for a long time. She has issues with distractions. I was strongly advised to do "sniff walks" and just sniff as much as she wanted. I even read an article on the Internet about how relaxing it is for the dog and so on.

So I decided to give it a try with my easily distracted dog. It was a complete failure! I ended up with a severely over stimulated dog I had to calm down multiple times during the walk.

Today I tried the complete opposite, complete focus on the walk and I had the best walk with her I ever had. She was engaged and responsive not ignoring me to go off and sniff whatever she was distracted by.

So if you're like me and have a dog that's easily distracted I would not recommend doing this.

If you were the only human in the world and you could choose only 1 dog?

If you were alone in world and you could only have one dog purebred or mix to help you survive, what would it or the mix be and why.

Wild animal vs. domesticated animal in the wild.

It just baffles me to see the success of wildlife in nature vs domestic. If a dog or a cat is left to nature they become flea and tick infested and are often very sick due to parasites and other nasty things. But wild animals thrive. What's the major difference between the two?

Could this be a Walmart approved hat?

The hat is on the store shelves and I am just wondering if this is a hat I could wear during work.

Obsessively sniffing during walks.

I'll try to make it short and sweet. If I could walk my dog in the middle of the road, she would be a perfect no pulling dog. But let's get realistic. When we walk she's obsessively has to sniff EVERYTHING. When we walk her nose is planted to the ground, trees, buildings, bushes, and even just random spots. She doesn't sniff like a normal dog. She obsesses, nothing not even bombs can distract her from the scent of whatever every few feet. Today she had to stop 65x's during our 45min walk. When she stops I have to practically drag her off of it even after giving her time to sniff. She'll even try to turn around to sniff something behind us that she thinks she missed. How can I fix this because this is the most annoying thing thing I've ever experienced.

Treat begging during training.

This was a hard one for me to title. But my dog struggled with other human and dog interactions during walks. Non-aggressive she just got over exited. So we worked on it with good results. Sometimes she'll get a little excited but she'll pull it together. But now after she feels like she was good she'll beg for a treat without me even thinking about it. Is this normal? Should I keep giving her treats even if she feels like she deserves one?

A day of beach fun.

A day of beach fun, some playing in the water but mostly hole digging and running. She dug 8 holes and had to test nap every single one of them 😂

A shout out to the owners of "special" dogs!

I own a apbt/boxer mix and she's "special" you know, Special Olympics kind of special.

Sometimes I feel a little bummed out with my girl when I see super well behaved dogs walking down the street or dogs running freely alongside there people at the beach playing Frisbee or fetch. My dog at the beach is super special and fetch!? Forget it. I throw a stick or frisbee for her at the beach, she'll catch it "kill" it and run it to the water as far as she can and drop it and watch it stink or float away, every time.

There's no such thing as a calm walk in the park. She has to be constantly sniffing and looking for critters or for 3 day old ice cream cones left behind by some kids on the other side of the damn park.

The other day I was walking her through a farmer's market. She was behaving like a show dog and I was feeling so proud of her, until a lady at a booth selling home made dog treats called out "FREE SAMPLES". Since Lola was behaving like a perfect angel I thought I would go check it out. We walked over to the stand and the person running the stand greeted us. At that very exact moment Lola lost it. The lady handed me a treat so I used that opportunity to get her to sit and settle down. The split second after she got the treat she attempted to jump on the table and in the process took all of the signage with her. The lady then attempted to hand me another treat, Lola then scooted over to the lady and sat all pretty and nice for the treat. After buying some treats and a good laugh we walked off again at this point Lola acting like the perfect dog. At least she didn't actually jump on the table. Like the one time she jumped through a drive thru window because the person on the other side asked if she wanted a treat. It always happens so fast and out of nowhere I just don't have time to get ahead of this. Ooooh ya, spontaneous combustion/zoomies too. We can be walking perfectly but then like spontaneous combustion she explodes into zoomy mode, at the end of the leach. That doesn't work out very well especially when there's an audience.

She's the most loving and affectionate dog and wouldn't hurt a fly but she is "special".

Anyone else out there with one of these special dogs don't let all the seemingly perfect dogs and the endless criticism bring you down. Just look at your special dog and say, I love you little buddy, we'll get it one day and give them a big hug.

I would love to know what kind of special dog you have and read a few stories about your special one. I also want you to know that you're not the only one. Thanks for reading!
