Playing through a UB820 on an old C7 buy transfers like these make me wonder why I pay extra for 4K UHD (don’t have many but still…)
Incredible audio and visual quality.
Was flipping through the selection at the thrift store today and found this little piece of history.
It is a 2012 re-issue of a 1970 album but a nice little glimpse into the local music scene in the 1970s
>In the late 1960s, a house was established in Vancouver as a refuge for hippies, street youth, and runaways. It provided a supportive space to rest, get meals, and find job resources, acting as a much-needed sanctuary away from the pressures of street life. When Canadian government funding was pulled in 1970 and the house faced closure, founder John Walsh and the local music community stepped in to release a benefit record.
Anyone rock a polka dot dress or oversized tux?
As an avid thrifter who usually likes to spend no more than $5 on a record… I‘m usually good for at least one trip a year to a small touristy town that has a lot of great bistros, breweries, and massive antique stores that you can get lost in for hours on end.
The nice thing is all their records are VG+ condition or better but priced astronomically but with the assistance of alcohol my better judgement dissolves and I usually pick up a few interesting records as they do tend to have a great selection.

Finally pulled the trigger on a summercart and I’m glad I’ll be able to finally play a few of the more expensive games alluding me but it definitely didn’t curb my interest in buying physical carts like I thought it would.
I’ve been meaning to replace a few batteries in carts I’ve owned for many years like Mario Golf and leaning towards just unlocking the characters again on the original cart instead of the summercart as it just feels… different
Thought this sub might appreciate this family home video of a trip to Whistler in 1989.
If anyone has any information, facts or stories please post so we can add it to the archive.

While I was just a child in 1995 but I have fond memories of road trips and waterslides in Penticton as we passed through during many summer vacations.
