Cross body bag recommendation and possible replacement advice?
I’ve been using this delsey cross body bag since around 3 years now and have been itching for something new. But nothing I’ve found so far fits everything I daily carry so conveniently.
Trimui Brick - Akira custom lol
Daily objects nylon wallet
Daily objects 5000mAh charger
SAK
Hemp oil roll on.
As notables
Notice how the side pockets on the delsey perfectly hold my keys on one side and the SAK on the other.
Any recommendations for a replacement are appreciated.
Have had a look at the options from Postbox but they are either too small or too big.
Karz and Dolls - payment gateway debiting money but not confirming orders
EDIT : They resolved it surprisingly quickly.
Has anyone else faced the same issue? I have placed two orders on KnD on their new site and the payment gateway isnt redirecting back to the website. two orders of mine are stuck now.
Marbles, 2 month old female kitten in Jalahalli, looking for a hom
This is Marbles. She's around two months old, female, and staying with me in Jalahalli right now.
She is ridiculously friendly. Give her two minutes and she climbs up and sits on your shoulder like she's been doing it her whole life. Doesn't mind being picked up, no hissing, no scratching. She's already dewormed.
Vaccinations are due soon. If she's still with me I'll get them done. If someone takes her before that, I'll pay for the first round anyway, just send me the bill.
What I'm hoping for:
- An indoor home, or at least a balcony with netting. Jalahalli side there's too much traffic and too many strays for a kitten this size to be roaming around.
- Someone who's okay with a 15 year thing, not a two month thing.
- Willing to get her spayed later.
- Fine with a short video call so I can see where she'll be staying. Five minutes is enough, I'm not trying to interrogate anyone.
She's free. I'm not making money off this, I just want her somewhere safe. Ask me anything in the comments or DM me. I can drop her anywhere in Bengaluru if that makes it easier.
If you can't take her but know someone who can, please pass it along.

The humble collection grows!
Will be cleaning up the wires and creating a bigger diorama soon. The f40 LM wing is a Kyosho hi-end.
Akira themed Trimui Brick! Feat. brick tube
Had to get the red brick as soon this idea of an akira themed Brick popped into my head. A purple Evangelion themed one would be so sick too!
Running bricktube on it! Can watch the whole movie!

Brick Tube: streaming YouTube on the Brick over Wi-Fi, decoded by the actual video hardware
The Brick has no business playing YouTube - no real browser, no YouTube app, a 4:3 screen, and a locked-down, undocumented vendor video stack. So naturally I spent a weekend making Brick Tube: YouTube on the TrimUI Brick, over Wi-Fi, with no computer in the loop, decoded by the CedarX video hardware (not software - the CPU basically files its nails).
You search, you get a wall of thumbnails, you press A, it plays. That's the whole pitch.
What it does
- Search + a real 3-wide thumbnail grid (D-pad around, A to play). Recent searches remembered.
- Live, hardware-decoded playback - no downloads, no re-encoding, straight into CedarX.
- Correct aspect ratio - 16:9 letterboxed properly instead of stretched into a funhouse mirror.
- Pause with a timestamp bar, volume that doesn't rudely stop playback, clean stop.
- A little speaker EQ to take the edge off the tinny mono driver.
- A menu with a visual how-to, about, and "clear recent searches".
The fun part (how it works)
A few things that were not obvious and cost real hair:
- The vendor player only speaks HTTP. YouTube is HTTPS-only and the device ships no CA bundle, so there's a tiny Go http↔https proxy on localhost that bridges it. That was the whole ballgame for getting a stream to play at all.
- The stretched video was the boss fight. The player draws video on its own display layer
and ignores every documented way to resize it. The fix is an
LD_PRELOADshim that intercepts the player'sioctl()calls to/dev/dispand rewrites the on-screen rectangle out from under it. I found the exact ioctl by logging every call it made until the screen stopped lying. - It got fast. Search calls YouTube's internal API directly instead of booting Python (~15s → ~3s), and yt-dlp ships as an unpacked tree in RAM instead of a self-extracting blob (4.5s → 1.7s startup).
- The speaker EQ is another
LD_PRELOADshim on the audio path running a couple of biquad filters on the PCM, because the codec has no EQ of its own.
Honest limitations
- No forward scrubbing. The vendor player only buffers a few seconds of a live stream and physically won't seek past it (I instrumented it to be sure). Rather than ship a fake seek bar, it's gone. Backward-within-buffer only.
- Mostly 360p. True 720p needs an on-device DASH remux — a project for another rainy day.
- Brick only (
tg5040). The letterbox fix is specific to the Allwinner display hardware. - It'll break sometimes — YouTube changes things, yt-dlp catches up. That's the deal with tools like this.
Install
It's a NextUI pak. Grab the zip from the GitHub Releases page, unzip, copy the Tools and
Videos folders into your SD card root (merge — it only adds files), reboot, and open
Tools → Brick Tube. Full steps + uninstall in the README.

Personal hobby project, open source (MIT). Not affiliated with YouTube/Google, hosts no content, just plays public streams on your own device — there's a disclaimer in the repo.
Happy to answer questions about any of the hacks. Feedback and "it also works / doesn't work on my unit" reports very welcome.
Sweet 3-month-old indie boy Pablo needs a forever home in Bangalore 🐾
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping this community can help find a home for Pablo Milkybar, a ~3-month-old male indie kitten.
A bit of his story: I found Pablo when he was a tiny, sickly 4-week-old and put out an appeal for him. My friend Ananya stepped in to foster and has been caring for him
beautifully since — but it turns out she and her family are severely allergic to cats. They’d honestly keep him in a heartbeat if they could, so now we’re looking for his actual forever family.
About Pablo:
**•** \~3 months old, male indie kitten
**•** Dewormed, vaccinated, and litter-trained
**•** Currently unneutered — this would be the adopter’s responsibility (happy to guide you on this)
**•** Eats both dry and wet food, no fuss
His personality: He’s a high-energy zoomie champion who lives to chase wand toys and “hide” in Amazon packets. Once he’s burned off all that energy, he flips into the ultimate sleepy cuddler. Genuinely nothing makes him happier than being close to his humans — he’s a cheerful, affectionate little guy.
📍 Location: Bangalore
If you’re interested or have questions, please drop a comment or DM me. And if you can’t adopt right now, even a share helps him find his people. 🤍
My hotwheels wall showcase!
Still have a bunch yet to be displayed.
Thesis project with the Infiniti studio back during my bachelors degree. Q50 electric.
Wanted to share this old dusty project from my time at university when I did my thesis project in car design with the Infiniti studio in the UK. These are fresh reinterpretations from my old sketches. Happy to share the Behance link if anyone is interested!
Honda gave me “design the next HR-V” as my internship brief at Wako R&D. It lives rent free in my head.
Brief was simple: design the next HR-V.
I accidentally designed what could be the Element instead.
I’m in logistics tech now. Cars never really left though.
Personally I think this is the car of my dreams.
These renders I chucked into Gemini to make it photorealistic but I went through nearly 1000 pages of sketches on paper to get here. There was a clay model as well.
