uBO settings menu sometimes opens with desktop format on mobile
This doesn't happen all of the time, but its annoying having to sometimes close and open it until it opens in mobile format. Is there a way I can fix this?

I've always used the Dark Reader extension, but I recently discovered chromium has a feature flag to force dark mode. What are the differences between the two (such as how they enforce dark mode and their preformance)? How do you use dark mode in your browser?
I have been using nextdns for a while and am thinking about pairing it with protonvpn (andoid). Will using a vpn interfere with nextdns or should they be fine to use together?

Currently I use Anikku and I've been using it for a while. I enjoy it a lot. However, is there a better alternative to it that I may not have known about when I first went searching for an app or that has come out after I already decided on using Anikku?
I like apps that use extensions because they feel more reliable (one source going out won't force me to look for a whole new app). I also don't care about troubleshooting extensions which lots of people seem to hate. I also like that fact that with extension based apps you can usually download and stream nicely from the same one app. Also - I don't want to torrent.
I know about cloudstream and I use it for normal shows/movies, but the ui isn't my favorite and I could never get anime to work quite right on it. I have heard about aniyomi but never looked into it much as my understanding is that anikku is just a better fork of it and i also heard whispers that aniyomi might be discontinued. I know about anizen (tried it very breifly when i first heard about it) but it feels heavy, is buggy, and is clearly vibe-coded.
Speaking of being vibe-coded, whenever I check this sub there is always a new app someone has made with ai. Please don't recommend me an app with a robot as the developer.
Any recommendations on apps to try? Or should i just stick with anniku?
The repo I encountered the issue in, though I would assume it's not specific to this repo:
It looks like the site is displaying cropped instead of using the full width of the screen.
I disabled all extensions besides uBO and reloaded the site. The problem persisted.
I'm using default uBO settings + "AdGuard - Mobile App Banners" + "uBlock filters – Annoyances"
It has all the features you would want without feeling heavy. It has full extension support (you can even use brave's self hosted ublock origin). It is chromium-based and fast. You can use whatever search engine you want.
After trying so many different browsers on android I finally landed on this one and I don't plan to change it any time soon.
I struggle really bad at reading (keeping track of what line I'm on, focusing too much on reading that I don't actually comprehend/remember anything, mixing up similar words/guessing at words, and definitely other things I can't think of at this moment.)
I've been trying to find a good font to set my phone to and maybe even to use on things like google docs. I have figured out what things in fonts work for me and what things don't work for me.
However, I have not actually found a font that fits most/all of these. Could anyone suggest a font?
Pros/Looking For: Wide spacing, low visual noise, consistent sizing and line height, monospace, humanist, sans-serif, and single-storey
Cons/Avoiding: Decorative or script fonts, condensed or narrow fonts, italics, all caps, thin font weights at small sizes, and double-storey
I had to look up some things (such as single vs double storey) to be able to better describe what I was looking for. If you're confused on anything either I can try to explain or you can look it up.
Whenever I see a thread about android browsers I usually see brave, vivaldi, or specifically firefox + ublock.
I get that the brave and vivaldi have built in adblockers so you dont need extensions for ublock, but is ublock really all you guys use in something that allows extensions like firefox?
For me I cannot live without dark reader and consent-o-matic, both of which are arguably better than an adblock extension for me since I use nextdns anyways.
My current setup is titanium with: qwant search engine (not an extension but still I love it over others I've tried like brave search and ddg search), adguard, dark reader, and consent-o-matic. I'm always on the look for new qol extensions.

Last school year I missed (as in getting a 0%) many many homework/classwork assignments and even some project based tests, not because I didn't start them, but because I felt guilty about not finishing them.
I would get maybe 80% of the way through something and then run out of class time time or take a break at home. I would think to myself oh I'll just do it later and finish it before turning it in, and then not turn it in. I feel so guilty about turning in something with blank parts, and that I can do better, but ed or just procrastination doesn't let me finish and I'll just not turn it in out of embarrassment because I know I can do better.
All of my classes I had an F in the practice/homework category of the gradebook. One of my classes where every single test was a project I almost finished with a very low D almost an F but managed to get up to a C.
How can I change my mindset to not have to be perfect? Why do I have this all or nothing mindset?
Very late in last school year I also got some accommodations such as two extra days to turn things in. How do you guys use extra days? Because the time isn't necessarily the problem for me, its something blocking me in my brain. An idea I have is using my base time normally (possibly not hitting a deadline because I'm not done), and using the extra days not to finish it but to give myself time to convince myself to turn it in unfinished? Is this a good idea or should I use this time in other ways?
I've seen people in this sub say a browser is bad because it doesn't even reach a score of 50. I am yet to try a browser that has gotten 3+. I've tried both chromium and gecko based browsers (waterfox is my favorite gecko so far and titanium is my favorite chromium)
Waterfox: 1.85
Titanium: 2.91
What browsers do you use and what speeds do you get?
(browserbench isn't the full extent of testing I've been doing, its just nice to have a number to look at. I've been actually using each browser I test for at least a day)
I know ublock origin is the best on browsers that support it, like firefox. However, whats the best adblocker on chromium browsers? Would it just be ubo lite or is there something better?
edit: omg it was a fucking question that i havent seen be asked in months (meaning there could be new info by now), you people love downvoting 😭😭😭

I took my hand at making some logic gates from scratch (want to work my way slowly up to a basic calculator without any tutorials or anything) and I'm curious if people would be able to tell which is which! (I built them how it was intuitive to me, I know this is DEFINITELY not good wiring)
Sorry if the picture is hard to see or blurry
I had an neuro-optometry exam today and there are some things about the results that I want to clarify.
I have trouble with Fixation, Accommodation, Binocularity, and Myopia (as the checklist shows). However, what I dont understand, is whats the difference between Binocularity and Binocular Vision Dysfunction? Looking up what Binocularity is/means just redirects me to BVD. Why would Binocularity be checked off and not BVD? I'm also not fully clear on if I have the general term of BVD or not? Do I just have things that correlate with BVD but don't necessarily fall under the term?
I've been reading things every once in a while from this sub for a few months, and that got me to expect getting prescribed prisms. What exactly are prisms / why weren't prisms included in my prescription? What exactly does my prescription do to correct the findings if it's not prisms?
I would like to understand what my prescription means / what my prescription does, so is this understanding of it correct or am I wrong im some parts?:
I have a -0.75 diopter everywhere except for the lower/anti-fatigue part of my lenses that have no diopter (due to the add). They are blue light blocking and are anti-reflective/non-glare. My right eye lense also has a correction for very mild astigmatism.
FYI I also have a follow up appointment in two months (I think maybe for extra testing after getting adjusted to glasses or maybe for starting vision therapy, i kind of forgot what the details were)
I know in animations like this your supposed to be questioning the realism in how the condition is depicted, but is the second half really how your supposed to see? Its like your watching a movie.
I'm getting an eye assessment for BVD done later today, in like a couple hours, and I've seen surprisingly similar to the first half (BVD depiction) my entire life.
I recently saw it boiled down to: lesbian means a non man loving non men and sapphic means a cis woman loving cis women
I went to double check this and upon looking it up I was getting conflicting answers, so I'm not sure if that is right or wrong.
Hopefully answers here aren't as conflicting so i can educate myself
I've been scrolling through this sub for a while and I see these as the two most recommend firefox-based browsers for android. I currently use Fennec after trying out a few different chromium options (the chromium ui is just ugly dont come after me). What is better between these two though? Or alternative question so people dont say "there is no `better`", what are the pros/cons of each? I see discussion that recommends/mentions these two browsers, but rarely does it come with much information on them especially regarding them being compared to eachother.
I am a cis guy and fully comfortable with my body, voice, and just being a guy in general. However, I recently came to the realization that I think I would be more comfortable with people referring to me with she/her pronouns. Is it okay to use feminine pronouns as a cis guy?
My whole life if been using she/her as a default pronoun, even going as far as accidentally calling guy friends she or accidentally calling guy teachers mrs. I thought about why this could be made a connection that maybe she/her pronouns are just more natural to me / more familiar feeling and I have maybe even been projecting it in a way. After thinking about it some more I realized that I in fact believe I would be more comfortable switching my pronouns. This came with a second thought of "does this mean I would prefer being a girl?" and I definitely wouldn't. I see a separation between pronouns and gender in the same way I see a separation between gender and sex. Is it normal to see that separation and would it be okay for me to use she/her pronouns as a cis guy? Or could that been seen as weird or even transphobic?
p.s. also if this would be okay for me to do how would i even go about telling people like friends or teachers
edit: thanks for all of the replies everyone reading through them has been very helpful!
I am very confident I have BVD (for lots of reasons but thats not the point of this post), but who do I go to to get diagnosed? I've heard things that pretty much any optometrist test for it and do treaments like prism glasses, but I've also heard people say that you should only really go to specialists. Theres lots of optometrists near me, but the closest specialist is an hour away from me. Is it really necessary to see a specialist?
