I need someone whos knowledgable on computers and relatively responsive to help me diagnose and fix problems with the rift cv1 bluescreaning my pc

For the past year I've been using a Jerry rig to set up mainly due to the fact that I don't want to spend $800 on index controllers and 2.0 base stations. So I've been using the rift controllers as my main controllers for multiple different VR headsets. I started having issues when I got face tracking. Which uses a dedicated USB camera for the mouth tracking. Since I added that math tracker my PC has been frequently blue screening, some days it even happens three times a day. I've tried so many different fixes that I genuinely don't know what to do next. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Using rift cv1 with 4 sensors crashes my pc on the bios level

Ive been having this issue for a while: bios studders and glitches out. No windows booted or anything. Im just on the bios screan. I boot into windows and everything is fine then 15 minutes later everything dies. Slowly comes to a stop and stays there.

What is the fix for this?

Okay so like does someone have new rift cv1 drivers that are actually up to date? This is like the 8th rift-based error ive gotten and every issue can be traced back to it.

Ive gotten kurnel errors, cpu errors, and all traced it back to the rift sensors being volatile on windows 11

What is the logic behind Nvidia GPU + AMD GPU instead of 2x nvidia?(not talking about sli or crossfire)

Ive heard that drivers are the reason but is that the only reason?

Very simple question, nothing else to add besides comments.

4070TI-Super OC Eagle + MSI GT1050 how do i install both drivers?

Ive asked anywhere from chatGPT to youtube to my own friggin father. Only answer i see is "get a 4050 or 3050 so you can just use the latest driver"

Windows 11 with vr would blue screan, got new motherboard now it turns off every 15 minutes

For years I've played vrchat on win11 but i havent been able to use my setup recently due to needing a better usb controller. (PSVR2+ Venti face tracker+ rift CV1/w oculus touch link for the controllers)

i got super excited after i got the money to afford a better motherboard, sadly my dual gpu setup wont work without forcing the driver to not update so thats out of the picture until i get a 4050 or 3050.

But weirdly enough, i think all my temps are good, but 15 minutes after i play any game now, the pc freezes and shuts itself off. I know the processor is burnt on the bottom and am wondering if i could possibly even out thermal paste under the processor to help with some of that heat? (All air cooled) i can still return the motherboard so i need replies asap

Yes I've tried undervolting

I5-14600k (i get it blah blah blah instability, even chatgpt know this)

Ddr5-6000(5600 no xmp)

4070TI-SUPER OC EAGLE (tried running a 1050 as a physX accelerator)

Startech 4x usb 3.0 to pcie x4

Z790 gaming wifi7 (b760m DS3H AX was the board that was fine playing games but bluescreans with VR, first z-90 board ive ever had. I am used to playing with low power dell machines. )

Cpu has slightly discolored regions all around the cpu, is underclocking/undervolting recommended?

Ive been having bluescreans for a couple months while playing vrchat and i just got a new motherboard today.

The bluescreans were supposedly caused by power issues with my 6 year old usb card made by a company that no longer supports the card for windows 11 machines.

Vive pro 2 loses tracking too easily

i tried folowing this but i dont understand how to make it work with a headset insted of a controller: https://www.reddit.com/r/Vive/s/F6hj1nyY1h

i did do it but i didnt do step 3, so it was just detecting everything, thankfully i only had the vive connected and it said it detected 31 dots.

idk if thats the right amount but what i do know is i got it used and the return policy is still active. does anyone know how tracking issues can show up besides the normal "reflecive surfaces"

my PC is consistently blackscreaning and i cant find a cause besides too many USBs but that cant be the answer, right?

my pc has been frequently blackscreaning after i got some new tech(a USB camera) and now when i load skins in VRCHAT my whole PC blackscreans. im using a PSVR2 with a Rift CV1 and 8+2 Slime FBT with a Venti Face Tracker. i am getting specifically error "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT 0x101"

{the venti face tracker is the usb camera, ive actually been trying to figure out if i can underclock it and i dont know what i have enabled but i am pretty sure i have it all off, ive already updated the bios and all my drivers, i have upgraded to a very basic no-name 1kw psu, i cant find anything labled "WHEA-Logger", GPU: 4070TI-Super OC Eagle (gigabyte), b760m DS3H AX, it freezes for like 2 minutes then sits at the watchdog timeout screen indefinitly}

How to force the psvr2 to initialize faster?

I own four other headsets besides the PSVR2 that are all plugged in all at the same time. When I try to use the psvr2, it cant initialize fast enough. Is there a way to fix this? Maybe some way to force steam VR to only use the psvr2?

When i try to load most worlds in the game my game goes black and says that vrchat is not responding : r/VRchat

i play vrchat well into the night, so most of the time when this happens (because i never world-hop unless all the interesting people leave the instance) ill turn my headset brightness down, every time this happens i can see my controllers being tracked in game still. so its still definitely responding.

but this has been happening at seemingly random intervals over the course of 8 months. im so damn done dude, what is the fix? ive tried clearing my cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and deleting every folder relating to vrchat on my pc and there are, quite frankly, no more drivers i could update even if i tried.

i have a 4070TI-S, i5-14600k, 32GB ddr5-6000, 2TB NVME, air cooled with a direct line from my AC unit. ive re-created this bug on a psvr2 and vive pro 2.
