It’s that time of life after 5 years with my current car, an i20 Sportz 1.2 NA Manual, I’ve finally decided it’s time for an upgrade. I’ve clocked around 62k km on the i20 with a mix of city and highway driving.

It’s been a wonderful car overall, but the one thing I’ve always disliked is the NA engine. Overtaking or climbing inclines often requires frequent downshifts, so I definitely don’t want another NA engine this time.

I really liked the Seltos HTK(O). I test drove the petrol manual and got a very similar feeling to my i20. Then I drove the diesel manual and absolutely loved the way it pulled. I’ll be test driving the diesel automatic next week.

My main concern is my usage.

Currently, I’m in my hometown and the car probably comes out once a month for a proper highway trip. Otherwise, I might drive it once a week for some occasion within town.

I may relocate to Bangalore or Hyderabad next year. Even there, I expect most of my driving to be in the city, with perhaps one monthly highway trip back to my hometown.

I understand that BS6 diesels need the DPF to regenerate properly and that predominantly short city trips can make things more complicated.

I’m mainly looking for experiences from owners who have a similar usage pattern. How has your experience been with DPF regeneration on the Seltos diesel or other BS6 diesels when most of your driving is in the city and highway trips are only occasional?

Is it something that becomes a hassle with low usage, or is it generally manageable?

I’d really appreciate some honest long term owner experiences before I make the decision. Thanks!

I had a PS4 and spent most of my time playing FC 25 and for the longest time, I kept telling myself there wasn’t a huge difference between the PS4 and PS5. I always knew I’d upgrade eventually, I just needed one reason to justify it.

I’m 31 now, and life is much busier than it used to be. My parents and my wife genuinely think I’ve lost it seeing how excited I’ve been about buying a PS5, choosing a TV, wall-mounting the console, and getting everything just right. They keep saying they’ve never seen me this invested in anything before.

The push for me was GTA VI pre orders + no stocks of PS5 + potential price hikes of PS5

So I finally pulled the trigger.

Spent close to lakh and eagerly waiting for GTA VI to spoil me 😁😁😁

Last but not least without Reddit community, I honestly don’t think I would’ve managed to get a PS5. Every time stock dropped, someone here was posting alerts, sharing deals, or helping others out. This community played a big part in finally getting me to hit the buy button. Thank you 🫡

Second pic is of lord ather initially parked a slope lower than this one, casually rolled back from original position and luckily got stopped by that metal rod. Either it would have turned 90 degree ready for me to hop on and leave(ather should market this feature “Hop and leave” ) else it would have casually toppled waiting for me to pick up.

Took delivery of my PS5 today, pre booked on Monday from Croma Nellore.

Spoke to store manager here he says the croma stock is wiped out completely, no idea of restock.

Whoever has pre booked just keep in touch with your croma and ask them if your product has been shipped.

As per staff there are high chances of cancellation even after pre booking.

After days of researching monitors for my PS5, I think I’m finally ready to pull the trigger on this one.

If anyone here owns it, I’d love to hear your experience. How has it been for PS5 gaming? Did it genuinely wow you? Was the jump to OLED as impressive as people say?

Would really appreciate some real-world feedback before I hit the buy button.

I called them immediately and they said today’s slots are booked i should call them tomorrow 12 noon.

I couldn’t stay quite dailed croma store at my hometown (Nellore)

First store hung up saying don’t have any info on pre orders.

Tried my luck with another croma (Newly opened). Initially they too tried to hung up saying no news on pre booking. But i insisted them to check coz banglore croma is taking orders.

They checked their online inventory while on call and voila! They said they had both disk and digital in stock ready for booking.

They generated a qr for advance booking of 2k inr.

And successfully placed order

My 2 cents : Just check with your local croma, they don’t have much info about restocking so you need to let them know that other croma’s have started taking orders.

Also flipkart’s ps5 search shows coming soon.
