Curious what the opinions are, here. When I got my copy of TiP a few years back, I heard pretty frequently that it was better than the original, with the new biomes, piñatas, and general expansion of the original game, but I've always preferred the OG.

This is just my opinion, but I think a lot of the new piñatas from TiP are ugly as sin (Bis... Bispot... I won't even say it), and I feel like it misses a lot of the comforting, neighborhood feel of the original by going for the semi-futuristic hybrid aesthetic. I prefer the location, loading screen, music, and sound effects of the OG by a lot. Your little corner of Piñata Island feels like a real, lived-in place with history, and it's much more cozy and atmospheric to me.

For those of you who prefer one game over the other, I'd love to hear your reasoning!!

Out of curiosity, does anyone here have any fun headcanons they like about the characters/world of the video games?
Very entry-level, but one of my favorites is that Dastardos steals and eats the life candies from the piñatas he smashes, because they’re the only thing keeping him alive in his half-dead state.

Ever since I was young, I've had a tendency to ruminate over people who have treated me poorly. The only thing that's stopped it is when it switches to a different person. At this point, I kinda have no clue what to do.

I've been stuck on this particular person for, like, a year and a half. I've processed the trauma I had with them, journaled, gone to therapy, tried medication, literally done medical ketamine treatments, you name it--and nothing's worked.

It's embarrassing to say, but I constantly feel like their criticisms/voice is in my head (not literally), even though I know that OBJECTIVELY A) the thoughts aren't true, B) I shouldn't believe them, C) they were a shitty person, and I shouldn't ascribe value to anything they thought about me. Logically, I know that this whole thing is ridiculous. No matter what, though, I just can't shake this obsession. The thoughts are so damn sticky. They've been keeping me from enjoying hobbies and memories that I used to, because I keep envisioning the worst-case scenario of what the person would think of it, no matter what I try. :/ I'm kinda desperate, here--Has anyone else been through this? Do you have any advice?

I'm trying to figure out just how much extra Death Note content was written by Tsugumi Ohba after the manga ended. I know about the A-Kira and C-Kira stories... Is that everything?

I’m a relatively new fan, and started working my way through the Beach Boys discography a few days ago. I was excited to see stereo options on Spotify, but now I’m hearing that mono is better because that’s how Brian mixed everything. Is mono really better when listening to the band?

I’ve always loved having different instruments in different headphones/the “wider” sound of stereo. I guess I’m asking if their music actually sounds better in mono, or if it’s more of a “respecting the artist’s original vision” thing.

Are there any tracks that sound worse off for being stereo, or any that sound much better as mono? Or vice versa? Also, when/how were the albums mixed into stereo if Brian wasn’t the one doing it himself? I have many questions, lol.

Just listened to the first 19 tracks of the Smile Sessions two nights ago… I’m planning on going back in and sampling some of the other tracks, but 5 hours of content is super daunting. Since I’m not going to listen to everything start to finish, are there any other ‘must-listens’ from the compilation apart from what I’ve already heard that anybody can recommend?

Hey all, I'm about to enter my second year of college (psych student!) and am looking to become certified in hypnotherapy. Most of the reputable options/resources I'm finding require you to have a college degree in the appropriate field before beginning your training.

Are there any alternative options (that are also reputable) for me to become certified before graduating?

I’m very excited to see Motley Crue this August, but unfortunately don’t know a lot about their history and would love to learn more. I’m planning on watching The Dirt soon (though I know it’s a bit inaccurate) and was wondering if anyone has some good documentary recommendations.
