That was NOT how I wanted my morning to go

There was fricken cooked bones in it! I was recording for the hell of it because I was gonna post on TikTok for fun him eating. There was chaos today because so many things were going wrong. I looked at the plate while he was mid eating and had to snatch it because there was fricken bones! I already called them after I confirmed it was bones and sent photos but come on!? I try to get a highly recommended cheap food for once and I get bones!? Never happened in the other more expensive cans!

Idk how many he ate before I saw it! This is NOT how I wanted my morning to go. Sorry about the cussing.

Y'all think I should follow the can instructions or go with the kcals?

Do I REALLY have to give the nearly full grown kitten over 800 kcals a day? He's TECHNICALLY old enough I could switch to adult safely but still has issues maintaining weight so I've been told to stay on kitten food abit longer. That seems like way too much tho. Trying to cut costs all around. Was gonna get vibrant life kitten temporarily and some dry but that's ALOT of cans it says to feed? It says to feed one can per pound. The cans are over a 100kcals.

Feeding the big boy and the pup in this video(recording so the cat behaves)

Used the text to speech because some people when I posted it on TikTok found it cringe to use the text. Plus voice was tired

He surprisingly decided today to eat the "poison" (I think he was just hungry because late lunch)

Ignore the candle. It goes in the bathroom. I took it out to clean. It's now back(no animals go in the bathroom)

Also PLEASE ignore the wall. I didn't even know I missed a whole STRIP while painting.

I cried today over stupid cat food because idk if my stubborn boy is gonna cave

My 5 year old boy is stubborn as hell. Only eats what he wants which what he WANTS there's no magic pack for so I'm paying $3-$4 a can individually normally for him and it takes 12oz of the kind he likes due to them not being high calorie and him being almost 14lbs(not overweight he's just big in size, think he's got maine coon in him).

We had some stuff happen. I had to cut costs drastically. I don't like certain ingredients but what I was gonna get, kitten vibrant life pate because it barely fit the standard, only had one container and it wouldn't be enough. I looked drastically through the Walmart aisle trying to find SOMETHING that fit my criteria and none of them did. I ended up just lowering out wheat gluten instead and grabbed friskies. It has grains. Grains make his poop stink badly plus he HATES friskies. He hates Fancy feast. He hates basically EVERYTHING. I had to grab purr pops and pure balance puree tubes for even a CHANCE of him eating it. I only have maybe a couple weeks worth of his old food left. Idk if he's gonna cave and eat. I got catnip from dollar tree as well to see if that'll attract him to it. Idk when things will go back to normal. I didn't realize how bad his food budget was until I did the math and it was BAD. I never even noticed because of how things were planned out. My work is adjusting my hours to get me more money coming in but idk how things are gonna work out.

Idk what to do if he won't eat. Do I just give him chicken or something mixed into it? I'm trying so fricken hard. He's just so fricken stubborn!

What can I replace this with if chewy ruins it?

I needed the limited ingredients and this was the best priced limited ingredient(all others were expensive). Chewy says they are changing nothing with changing the brand name but multiple people are reporting issues and changes with the new chewy made lines. I'm scared this is gonna change.

Really odd question to plan ahead

I have an odd question. When my female ducklings get old enough to lay is it a bad idea to mix my Cayugas with a Pekin? (My sister offered to let me put one of her males with mine temporarily to get eggs from them) Or is it better to find a male Cayuga? (Not eating them this is to expand the flock) Want eggs and friendly ducks as the end goal

Is there a shampoo I can use between my VO5 clarifying shampoo that WON'T make my hair oily?

I've been struggling with my hair for awhile. I tried doing what some people suggested of not washing my hair everyday but it REALLY doesn't work for me. If I overuse the VO5 I've noticed my hair starts coming out in large amounts so I have to space it several days.

Rn I just use

meille curl smoothie(diluted into water) every day I don't wash(I wear a bonnet when it's applied overnight)

The VO5 clarifying shampoo (kiwi lime specifically) followed by L'Oreal elvive hydrating conditioner (to avoid overdrying) every other day sometimes I space it out an extra day.

I let my hair air dry.

I've been trying to fix my curls since a REALLY bad cut but I'm also dealing with my hair having an oil issue and getting build up fast. I was using not your mother's curl cream but the store stopped stocking it.I know it's not the best routine but I haven't been taught and I'm trying to learn at the same time of trying to fix my hair.

I have fine hair if it matters

Very stupid question alot of stuff at once and my brain is not working. Do I need to transition him OFF of a plain diet if I'm switching foods?

Pup had some issues on his old food. Got him off it and onto a TEMPORARY homemade diet with a nutritionists help. My sister messed up his recovery by feeding him a food that upset his stomach so he's been on a plain diet for abit. His new food arrives tomorrow. I was supposed to transition him from the homemade but he hasn't BEEN on the homemade for about a week and has been on a plain diet to stop the diarrhea from getting his "no foods". Which do I transition him off of? The plain diet or the homemade? Or just cold turkey with pumpkin and Greek yogurt? This has been a rough last couple weeks.

He's not supposed to have chicken mainly rn but has had Similar reactions to rice containing food. I'm switching him to a zignature food(not grain free but no rice or chicken) rn he's on plain turkey and butternut squash (vet told me to use this due to the rice issues) the vet approved the new food to use already but idk how to do this transition and the office is closed and will be closed tomorrow when I'm finally off work.

I'm so sorry to ask I've just been overwhelmed. I argued with my sister for like an hour when she fed him the kibbles and bits and upset his stomach all to hell.

He's allergic to chicken

Weight: maybe 17 again needs to be 19

Age: ~11 months

Advice for water and setup?

I'm giving my two ducklings a pool but with how much they waste water would it be a good idea to get a dog waterer for them Instead of having seperate bowls for water?(two gallons) just so they don't run out as fast during the day? Currently I fill up their bowls 3-4 times a day(sometimes ALOT more) but they dump them Everytime. I'm buying everything today for them to go outside.

I'm going to get more ducks later. I think I have two girls rn.Also what else would be helpful for their setup?

Is there a GI biome without chicken?

I'm gonna HAVE to get my pup tested for leaky gut because he just got sick on a diet a nutritionist made when I substituted sardines for salmon like I was told I could. He had a sudden issue on his old food me and the vet were struggling to treat so I reached out to a nutritionist and she formulated a temporary diet to stop the issues and gave me a list of substitutions for some ingredients Incase they went out of stock.

I'm getting him a new food soon but I substituted the sardines for salmon and he had severe digestive upset again which he is normally fine with salmon.

But I've been told the treatment is likely probiotics and to use one of the gi foods but I think they are all chicken and he can't have chicken in any form or quantity. (Confirmed issue thru elemination trial)

I'm just worried there's not a GI food he can have. Sorry if this isn't allowed

Can we ask about treats here?

If we can do y'all know any single ingredient or limited ingredient treats that Don't contain chicken that are decent? I'm out and need to buy some off chewy for training. I can't get treats from my normal place except for once a month. (He doesn't like the kibble enough for prolonged training and I think what I'm teaching will take awhile Don't need training advice just the treats)

Cats might have caused a false positive during an elimination trial. Should I try PPP SSS again?

My pup has been on Taste of the Wild Pacific stream ever since he started having issues with his food and me and the vet did an elimination trial. Chicken was suspected and proven to be it(all other proteins were fine) but when I put him on Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach he had another reaction just not as bad. We both got confused and tested grains which he had a reaction to rice which he was fine on before. Since it was basically impossible to find a chicken and rice free food we discussed it and removed grains entirely until he is an adult. I used that brand because the company said they'd replace a bad bag if I got it. (So far so good until the random reactions started happening recently)

I noticed recently there was more random reactions and kept tossing new treats thinking they were cross contaminated but yesterday he had a reaction when I've had him on plain kibble all week(he normally has supplements to help with some other issues he has but I ran out and they take awhile to ship). I finally looked around the house at the other animal foods and realized random cans of the cat and kitten food have chicken. They share water bowls. My oldest cat had been present for the last of the elimination trial. I think they caused a false positive because I feed the cat food flavors at random. Should I try it again after I remove all chicken food from the house or ask the vet first?
