Anything else like the First Law/Lies of Locke Lamora?
I'm near the end of "the last Argument of kings" and at the middle of "red seas under red skies" and out of all the books I've read since starting this hobby (2 years ago) nothing has reached the perfect storm of quality that these two seem to share like humor/depth/wit and character interactions and agency.
Also the dialogue is always captivating even during a slow sequence of events they keep you engaged.
Of the books I've read these past two years they share only parts of their strength but never all
The justice of kings (dialogue/character agency)
Blacktongue Thief (banter/humor/wit/Dialogue) this is the closest
Red queens war (banter/humor)
Name of the wind (wit/humor)
The Palace job (banter/humor)
Etc...

Shiba teleports as the glass starts breaking/talks to Samura/moves to the civilians grabs them (that's when it finally breaks)
He is at least 2 to 4 times that speed (and this is without accounting for anyone else in that building that was saved)
