Clouds On Fire at Sunset - Oregon High Desert - taken through a 500mm lens.
I have a TipTop Mantis case with power supply. I usually turn it on an off from the power strip I have it plugged into. I purchased it in March 2025 so it is pretty new.
Before bed last night i was messing around and I thought I had turned it off but when i came back into the room all of the modules in the rack were blinking on and off - I think I may have accidentally rocked the switch back to on when I was turning it off. I turned the power back on and off several times and still just got blinking.
This had never happened before. My rack has been full the whole time though I recently swapped in a Mordax Data and a Doepher A-156 but have been using it for weeks without a problem.
This certainly upset me but it was bedtime and I didn't want to start tearing it all apart to figure out what was wrong.
This morning I turn on the power and everything works like normal.
Any idea what is going on here? Any advice on preventing this problem?
Thanks
UPDATE: I have found a few other things.
My best guess is that due to random timing differences I am occasionally sucking too much power on start up. And the one thing I can check into is if I am using all my power zones.
A friend of mine is trying to get me into a conversation about QC after watching a really horrible AI generated video on YouTube about Google's Willow. All hype and BS but with really trippy graphics.
Is there a "QC for beginners" site that I can point her too? I just want her to access some factual information that she can understand.
Thanks...
