I bought my first flap 7 years ago. Loved it, adored it, used it.. but now I’m over it. That being said is it iconic? Yes. Is it classy? Yes. Is it always in style? Yes. Do I reach for it as much… not really. But yet people are still buying and will keep buying flaps.

I’ve seen a lot of discourse here about the boy being being out or the C25 is going to be a trend and be tacky one day, the 22 looks like a trash bag etc etc. The problem with these bags isn’t that they’re bad bags… the problem is that they got hyped very quickly so we all bought these bags very quickly so just as quickly as we got excited, we also lost interest.

Personally I think this is because of social media which is working faster than magazines ever did so the speed of the cycle is wild and consumption is now at a high. What’s the next it bag? What’s the next must have? What’s the bag the “cool girls” are carrying? Not to mention… the ones that aren’t actual Chanel and those bags being shown online as well.

Anyways just my shower thoughts for the evening.

What happened to comedy in Bollywood! Put on Partner then Golmaal then Hungama then Welcome while I was at home cleaning today and realized movies are just not made like this anymore! I watched De De Pyaar De 1 and 2 and those I’d classify in the same comedy genre as the previous ones I mentioned but there’s very very few like this being released nowadays.

What are some other old and new comedies that have and will stay with you?
