I didn’t expect Capital Breakfast to end up in the Toy Story universe but fair play to them. Jordan voicing Garden Gnome and Sian playing an Inflatable Flamingo feels very random in the best way. Nice seeing radio presenters getting these opportunities outside broadcasting too.

Asking for a friend but also kind of asking for myself about a friend. It's quite far off and the difference at the jawline is noticeable. Do you say something or is that one of those things you just leave alone to protect the friendship?

I saw the Guardian report today about people waiting over a year for tax rebates and realized I’m in the same boat. I noticed my 2025/26 overpayment was processed in March, but the tracker now says my expected completion date is July 2026. I’m not sure if I should keep calling the helpline (and waiting 45 minutes for the we are busy hang up) or if I should just accept that my refund is currently funding the government’s digital overhaul. Is anyone actually getting checks/transfers through lately?

No matter how much I mentally prepare beforehand, eventually I end up paying festival prices for chips and just accepting defeat. Always tell myself I’ll budget properly next time and never do. Is it the same for you?

Feels like every breakfast show now is constant features, fake banter and celebrity clips. Sometimes I just want songs, quick news updates and someone who doesn’t sound like they’ve had six coffees. Anyone else gone off breakfast radio a bit lately?

At the moment I’m using stuff like Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation, L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer, ICONIC London Illuminator and I finish it off with Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray, but even then I still get that slipping and creasing, especially around my under eyes and nose area. Would really appreciate any recommendations for products that actually stay put on oily skin, or even small tweaks that made a difference for you.

Interested to know which place is preferred by everyone now.

I know some colleges are restricted. Can we still get a proper feel for it or is most of it closed off. I really want to see the campus and classes. Are we allowed?

I’ve been checking over and most of it looks good, but there are a few small areas that don’t feel flat when you run your hand over them. It’s nothing major visually, but enough to notice if you’re looking in that direction.

At first everything looked fine, but after a bit of time, small cracks started appearing and it’s hard to tell if it’s something normal or if something’s gone wrong. I’ve heard it could be things like drying too quickly, movement in the walls, or how it was applied, but I’m not sure what’s most common. What usually causes this?
