I drew this myself in Procreate. No AI was used (f*ck AI).

Nothing better than a Sunday roast dinner lads!

First time trying a viral recipe, Chicken AuPoivre so made a steak and guinness pie as a backup! Along with all the essential sides, colcannon, roasties, roast veg, fried brussel sprouts, cauliflower cheese and stuffing with the choice of banoffee trifle or carrot cheesecake swirl bundt for dessert!

I'm looking for games that give the feeling of the movie "Event Horizon". Any suggestions?

I've already played Dead Space, Callisto Protocol, and Soma. These are the only ones that kinda come close, but I need more.

We're working on improving our gaming and LFG platform for Steam users, adding new features and improving the existing ones, as well as the UI/UX. Would really appreciate any feedback from this community!

Hi all,

I'm the graphic designer and one of the creators of HopSquad.GG

We started working on HopSquad a year ago, trying to fix an old problem with gaming online: finding reliable people to play with.

>The current pipeline of trying to find co-op partners isn't working (at least for me): you get a new game and are excited to try it out, but you have to join yet another Discord server, there are hundreds of people there, and you never know if they're real, trustworthy, or even have the game you're trying to enjoy.

On HopSquad, every user is Steam-verified, so you'll know how many hours on the game other users have, their actual region, and with the reputation system, if they are worthy of your time.

We're still early days since release, so getting better all the time, following feedback from real users. I'd love to see more people using it so we can make it a real community.

It's free forever, and safe to log in with Steam - they handle all the login info, we only see public information on your account to build a profile.

I'm here to answer any questions!

Thanks :)

I created a free platform for Steam users to find Co-Op partners. Looking for people to join, test, and tell me what I missed or should add to it.

Hi all,

I was tired of having to join a new Discord server for every new game I wanted to find a squad for, or trying LFG communities here. Those options were always messy, and people can ghost you too easily because of the anonymity of it all.

I've been working on HopSquad.GG for almost a year now, and I'm excited to share it with the gaming community finally. I'd love to see where we can improve and make it the best possible experience for gamers.

The platform is also a sort of 'Letterboxd for gamers', and you can do a lot in there to share your gaming life: Steam Login / Game Library & Discovery / Squad finding / Events / Direct Chat & Squad messages / List creation & sharing / Game Reviews & more.

It's free, and this won't change.

The login is 100% handled by Steam, and we never see any personal information about you, only the public stuff on your Steam account (games you choose to share, achievements, etc).

Ask me anything about it here or via DM. I'm happy to tell more about it.

Thanks!

I created a gaming community and LFG platform for Steam users. Looking for people to join, test, and tell me what I missed or should add to it

Hi all,

If you play games online, you probably know that playing with randoms is a huge bummer most of the time. People you find on Discord servers and Reddit can be flaky, ghost and leave you hanging, or be downright toxic.

On top of that, I was tired of having to join a new Discord server for every new game I wanted to find a squad for, or trying LFG communities here. Those options were always messy, and people can abuse the anonymity of it all.

I've been working on HopSquad.GG for almost a year now, and I'm excited to finally share it. I'd love to see where we can improve and make it the best possible experience for gamers.

The platform is also a sort of 'Letterboxd for gamers', and you can do a lot in there to share your gaming life:

  • Steam Login - it's verified through Steam, easy to identify smurfs or throwaway accounts
  • Game Library & Discovery - You import games directly from Steam, any game you own
  • Squad finding - an open discovery for squads, with filters and sorting options
  • Friends - public or private profile that you can share only with the people you know
  • Events - public or private only for friends via invite
  • Direct messaging & Squad messaging - DMs and squad chat to schedule gaming sessions
  • List creation & sharing
  • Game Reviews - public reviews and scores that count towards the community score for all games

It's free, and this won't change.

The login is 100% handled by Steam, and we never see any personal information about you, only the public stuff on your Steam account (games you choose to share, achievements, etc). Only PC and Steam for now, but we have plans to add more platforms later.

Ask me anything about it here or via DM. I'm happy to tell more about it.

Thanks!

(Hi mods, I don't think this violates any rules, but please let me know if this isn't OK.)

I'm building a 'Creator Page' on my gaming community website - in your opinion, what are the most important must-haves for a content creator page?

Context: A gaming community and LFG platform for Steam users.

The creator's page is a new feature I'm working on. I was a streamer for a while, so I have some idea about what's important, but I've been out of that world for a few years, so I would love some more insight into what matters the most for you guys.

The features I have in mind at the moment:

  • Embedded clips/videos
  • 'Live Now' tag
  • Game Lists
  • Shareable Linktree-style page
  • Creator Squad - the main focus of the website is to find other people to play games by creating LFG squads. This will give your followers the ability to create a squad with your creator tag, so other fans can identify your community when searching squads for any game.

Feel free to DM or ask any questions here. Hope this all makes sense :)
