My Zois stayed at a spacious hotel in Dowon! 🤭
lol I’m just kidding. But I’m surprised nobody has tried to make them or the other Quadratum characters in Inzoi yet. We technically have KH4 at home 😂

I still have this theory that BTR’s fictional universe exists inside and outside of the Nickelodeon universe, same with the real group existing in our real life. But that there’s also several fictional versions based off the test group names where several real stars (like Victoria Justice, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, etc) still also exist.
The idea is that “BTR can be supplemental to a Teen Idol Radio Pop/Dance-Pop version of Demi Lovato similar to say, what The Jo Bros were, supplemental to Demi’s sensibilities as a Pure Pop Rocker in our reality”.
ex. BTR centering a female artist, like Jordin Sparks or Victoria Justice, etc.
BTR isn’t pure bubblegum and employ several genres that overlap with pop-rock but this idea is mostly relative to or lead by it’s not that deep, and then Gustavo Rocque’s 90s / y2k pop band sensibility overlapping with those sounds already.
“Do you want to talk about….stealing someone’s identity?” 🤭
I’m thinking about saying that “he is small enough to crawl into small spaces?”
Highly recommend mixing universe lore 😂 London Tipton started talking about loving Vengeance Rituals from the Buffyverse when she was talking to Raven Baxter 😂
Made The First as “Blunt Bangs Buffy” (which is Riley’s nickname for her in the game) and I’m just having
First!Buffy give everyone a silly nickname 😭
I think it would’ve been genius if Tucker was a figurative big bad following after The Mayor and Glory (provided Walsh was actually the big bad instead as well, and Adam’s shtick was used in hindsight to tie into this season as well).
He was a leader of the Trio originally, but divested upon the introduction of Warren, who he meaningfully critiques as “squandering his own potential” by chasing after or heralding obsessively, or trying to compensate for their inferiority. Tucker would reek of hypocrisy but he still would have “evolved” since Season 3, setting his exploits higher than Warren’s comic book villainy and antics.
Of course their antics would still lead into the dreaded incident concerning Katrina’s death, Tara’s death, and then the Skinning of Warren. Tucker would be the only formidable opponent against Willow because he would be now seriously adept at the dark magicks because of his sense of focus/detachment and the two of them would mirror.
Tucker would imply that the hellmouth is objective, not subjective, and that they all fail to engage and fulfill their subjective problems with objective solutions. Though it’s not that easy. This would hint further at The First being season 7’s big bad and the themes in episodes like Conversations With Dead People.
Also, since Tucker’s actor is the singing voice of Aladdin it would’ve been hilarious to hear him sing and perform as a villian in OMWF.
My retroactive headcanon is that Joyce isn’t an idiot or clueless and that the issue of how she is expands past the show being written for dramatic purposes when you consider Dawn still “being there”, after the fact.
Stay with me lol
I think the Hellmouth works its will on everybody who lives there. Most Adults are “mostly” practical in the general sense, so they may not be privy to believing it if they don’t have the lived experience. Even if they see it.
Add the post-introduction of Dawn on top of this and not only does it validate Joyce’s struggles as a mother even more in the real world, but it also validates more deception being entered into the story because of The Monks.
I could see that in post Season 5’s same version of Seasons 1-4 that Dawn doesn’t live with Buffy and Joyce because Joyce is dealing with Buffy like she’s become a bad seed. The girl who burns down the school gyms and brings weird older men into their home, etc.
She’s barely keeping her family together and maybe keeping Dawn out of it, to the point that it also works perfectly for the monks to craft the scenario Dawn is a suspended variable that no one mentions until much later, despite knowing her “being real” and things happening. She exists but she doesn’t, and the weight of her existence is felt through what The Monks crafted when altering their collection of the past.
Dawn could easily be a motive or a consequence for several past events by the power of that magic alone, and it doesn’t require her physical presence because the “story” is still there.
The downside to this theory is that it sort of taints Dawn. The college book / aneurysm joke nudging At Joyce’s later death could be a joke-as-truth: a result of both of these supernatural forces constantly weighing down upon Joyce and making her sick.
This could hit a crescendo once Joyce is in the hospital, fighting with herself and her illness and trying to accept whether or not Dawn is her real daughter or not to further contend with other Magics.
Then there’s The Body, then the incident where Dawn is trying to revive Joyce. That scene where they wait for “Joyce” to appear is so powerful. I used to see it for face value: Buffy letting it all out after struggling to keep her home and life together after Joyce’s passing,
but now I sort of see it also as Buffy becoming Joyce figuratively, speaking to Dawn, while the disease itself is coming up to the door in the form of black magic. Then we get into Dark Willow and it’s more direct lessons about trying to alter our perception of reality using magicks.
The point is: I feel like Whether it’s W&H or Monks casting spells to change reality or to save the world, I feel like there are consequences to any and all magic. Joyce is someone who didn’t really ask to be thrust into that world either. Joyce is responsible for her actions but the world still could influence her real motivations and even put her in harm’s way.
It makes the final shot of Buffy at the end of the series as she leaves very much more emotional for me. Nobody should live over the hellmouth to begin with.
Still haven't finished this project [and it's sister] and this might sound bad but...
This isn’t a dig at her, but I feel like despite her being probably a very underrated and more memorable actress with less roles, I’m shocked that she hasn’t touched elbows in the circle of actresses in her age range and co-starred with them in more roles?
Maybe it’s too predictable for her to have a “Big Little Lies” or a “Sharp Objects”, But even then, she’s still in the horror pocket and there’s much more going in that regard than milquetoast family / lady dramas (though she could knock that out of the park too).
What gives?
I know we hear that the shows events are partly inspired by Reality and that it mirrors some aspects of the namesake characters/experiences. I know that we said that “The guys aren’t who they play on TV”, but now I feel like the opposite can be said, and I feel like the spirit of the BTR as we know it should be defended rather than the actors/artists decisions. Even if we feel it has bled over into real life.
An Example:
Anybody who auditions to be in a cliche Pop Boy Band with a song from Smokey Robinson and The Miracles (Tracks of My Tears) and also chose that over anything else says more about the person’s tastes than how they present themselves. That part of James Diamond, in how he is introduced feels very down to earth, very sentimental, and I think it informs us of Big Time Rush being of its time but making note of influences: Smokey Robinson and The Miracles, The Beatles, N*Sync, etc etc
It isn’t to say that James Maslow wouldn’t know the song himself or wouldn’t sing Motown era hits, but I think that moment and certain influences we notice in the music/the message of the show are maybe more of what is consistent of Big Time Rush as a group if you know the music. Even if some of it’s bubblegum or cheesy. There are facets to it.
Despite the universe being framed through a wacky tween comedy featuring bubblegum pop music, I think the spirit of the group is only understood by several contextually, through this facet (nostalgia for the series and Nickelodeon) and not in an organic but transformative way.
Any Kind of Guy is a perfect example. It*** ***feels much more boisterous as a pop-rock song than say “I Want You Here All The Time”, for example (which feels more heffron-drive meets big time rush-esque and maybe coasts into Pop-Punk indie-rock territory). It’s kind of sleepy for Big Time Rush. Honey does a better job of matching the energy contextually, but Paralyzed also does an even better job of being boisterous because it’s still in that pocket.
But then what about No Idea, or Worldwide, or Count on You or Nothing Even Matters or Boyfriend? They always talk about Boyfriend, but it’s the Old school pop ballad and the 2000s PopnB sound that really did them a great service of establishing versatility.
This comes back to James singing’ country (while holding himself at Gunpoint in the Khia Asylum).
My headcanon is that James Diamond and the fictional Big Time Rush as adult artists and a group would not be the same group that the real ones are today.
I think they would’ve understood their roots as all-arounders a little better. So I don’t think Gustavo was right about James Diamond, I think James Diamond knew his roots and his sound and where his talent fit and probably would’ve released much better music. >! I also think he would’ve probably networked and had better producers and songwriters for his debut album !< 😭
Would it be so bad to bring the girls back but with a caveat? Or would this initially just change the course of the first 3 movies?
OR The first 3 movies could happen the exact same way but Bridget and Cindy being reconciled somehow caused some unrelated chain reaction that caused a rift between them later that could be solved?
What could that be?
If they don’t reveal anything else until the first day of the game’s release in 2035, this is going to be the most insufferable wait of all time. Someone will make a “Quadratum News Updates” channel criticizing the city’s shops from the background and how bad the hotel services probably are. 😭
Unrelated but related: I love how many felt Persona 4 tied to the Scooby Gang (from Scooby Doo) and Persona 6 now feels like it may seem relative to The other “Scoobie Gang” (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and other supernatural investigative series with found families. Buffy is almost the same age as the Persona series (it’s shy a year younger), so this is also coming out in the year of its 30th Anniversary (2027).
Kind of crazy that they are nearly the same age, and I’m really excited to finally move on from Persona 5. Q4 2026 and 2027 are about to be quite a time for games 🤩
But then I realized she would probably be appalled at having Buffy’s leftovers, and wouldn’t care to get into the guy to find out what he did and what he’s like.
I wonder if she would address the elephant in the room (lacking tact) and vocalize what she thought of him brashly, and maybe in the way that Spike did (Boy Wonder, etc). Maybe he would be “too much like the guys she dated in HS, but also not enough like them to fulfill the nostalgia”.
I know this is more so a resident evil style game, but I think with Until Dawn 2 not being by SMG this would be really fun to tackle. Obscure (1 & 2) are sort of like Persona 2 in the sense that maybe remaking or translating them into new games could be fun to see!
