they feel like sister songs?
they aren’t about the same interpretation of the same thing, but NOBTL has a double meaning, and it has a lot of the same phrases as This is Me?

I have an upscale of the DVD rips and the remastered versions digitally. It really is sort of staggering the difference between the two when they’re layered on top. But I love the crisp quality of the remasters despite the coloring and the skin smoothening and I like the dinginess of the original show. I’m surprised someone hasn’t figured out how to Frankenstein the two together (or Adam-stein, since his name wasn’t Frank)
If I knew how to use Unreal engine I would’ve already tried to make “RUSH RHYTHM SUPERSTAR” or something like that, with the original songs and dance mixes. 🤣
The guys aged a lot in a year between 2012 and 2013 (noticeably so) and I wish they just made another full 3rd season of 20-22 episodes in 2012, skipped Big Time Movie (which was just an hour long episode nobody asked for) and just made a 2 hour movie a year later. The continuity would’ve felt better.
This also could’ve saved the show from fatigue, and they could’ve put whatever wasn’t spent on the glorified TV episode for costuming and choreography, cameos, and doing new songs / Sony covers in a soundtrack album, after releasing a third album.
If the series ended with a budgeted movie it still could’ve been left on a cliffhanger and we could’ve avoided that stank Big Time Dreams finale.
lol RIP Weights
This is a cover I made of Logan, Carlos and James singing “One More Win” from Ridge Racer Type 4 (1998). It inspired a Mashup I made for another fan album I haven’t released.
Where the story behind it is from a timeline where the guys didnt make it as a group on Rocque Records, but instead became couple of desk temps working for Griffin at RCM Globalnet Sanyoids offices, and their alter ego group are signed to Rocque records instead, playing retro games on lunch breaks.
Mostly inspired by 80s pop and Retro Sounds. Like if “Not Giving You Up” was an album, rather than something like this lol
Maybe soon!
The albums are compilations of covers by Ryohei (That’s The Way Love Goes, Space Cowboy) typically in this Ibiza / resort sound (downtempo, jazz, maybe house music).
They feature artists like Jazztronik, MAKAI, CLAZZIQUAI PROJECT, etc.
The guys had the right idea releasing alternate versions of the albums on seperate releases even though we didn’t care for them. Considering what everyone is doing now I’m surprised the guys didn’t / don’t just renew the interest in the album much earlier around this time by releasing a Remix album
or going the disc one / disc two extended play route by releasing an extended play version that features the ‘singles’ not on the album on original side ( ONLY ONE / HERE ALL THE TIME, etc) and maybe paying certain artists for features for the deluxe songs
