Thoughts on my t.d.i.m.h episode tier list

This is based on the ones I watched

and here’s my opinion on them:

Decent:

Karte 23: i don’t want to lose: adachi is actually relevant in this, instead of being just background dressing, and the dual between him and ichikawa was cool

Karte 11: we‘re a bit alike

Karte 18: ichikawa’s graduation speech was actually pretty impressive here, the only thing holding it back, is yamada utterly destroying nanjou (I hate yamada, she’s a top contender for my least favorite anime character)

Mid:

Karte 13: we’re searching: I didn’t really care for this one all that much, the only thing I liked about it, was yamada giving ichikawa a death stare, that was pretty funny

Karte 12: not much happens other then them just vibing, that’s pretty much it

Karte 22: nothing pretty much happens, and the only thing noteworthy is ichikawa trying to tell Yamada something, which is sort of familiar to What Aiden tried to tell james in DC2 remake (i’m pretty obscured reference)

Karte 24: not much happens, and it’s sort of building up to the end (which y’all get into later)

and now,

bad:

Karte 16: yamada likes: Whiny Worried ichikawa shows up in this episode, and Yamada is pretty unlikable here, not much else to go out of

Karte 21: we made a promise: ichikawa is at his worse here, he stays at yamada’s front door step just to be noticed, and rushes to a diner

Karte 25: I, we, fell in love: this entire last episode is nothing but a Thomas hit era 3 strikes formula, don’t believe me, let me explain then

strike 1: ichiakwa almost bangs yamada in bed

strike 2: an unnecessary dramatic moment of ichikawa saying “I like you“ to yamada happens

and strike 3: a pretty unsatisfying ending (The music doesn’t really help)

(also, pray to God your eyes to take it for the first time)

conclusion: so that’s my list

How would you picture a survivor like Danganronpa show with this cast

And instead of people dying, they get voted off, and are sent away

I have a couple of hot takes I like to discuss

Hot take 1: I think this fandom is way too nice: what I mean by this is that, whenever a character is a villain like yul or riya, fans tend to hate on them for being “evil” which is weird because people liked fiore, and Sam (as of current) for being evil, and when someone like Rosa or Anastasia in S5 are “nice” fans tend to make them their top 5, I don’t get it

hot take 2: Sam is not Alejandro: because he doesn’t use his works to manipulate people

hot take 3: I want to see comeback to redeem herself: I know I say this a lot, but I’m just tired of riya becoming a hate meme, like the only reason Riya’s villain side was dialed up to 100, was because odd nations could market her as “evil queen” but not everyone can stay hated for a long time

and that’s my takes

How would you rate my fanmade DC5 elimination order (as of episode 12)

changes:

ellie and aubrey switch teams

ellie knows Nick has the advantage

ashley forms an alliance with lake, Tess, and Hunter

plots:

zaid takes Natalia’s role, and makes an alliance with Spencer

dan makes an alliance with isabel in episode 1, and in Episode 3 he lets Aubrey join

riya is out for a redemption arc, and rekindles with lake

hunter and Hannah become close friends

elimination order reasons:

bruno: he was an easy target (note: sorry for all you Bruno fans)

ernesto: same as canon

manu: same as canon

nick: lost a tie breaker against Tess

Finn: same as canon, except Ellie flips because of Finns attitude

riya: Zaid convinces the majority to vote off riya, not because of her history, but because she would be a threat

evie: she costed them the challenge

ren: Ellie convinced nura to flip and join them in a vote, promising her safety,

Hannah: same as the way benji was eliminated

aubrey: same as Brunos canon elimination, except Zaid's the one who convinces Ashley’s alliance to vote Aubrey

dunia: same as canon

Why don’t people want Drew back

I get why he was second boot, and it makes sense, because it paints Tom as insecure About his identity as a spy,

but his notebook thing was neat, and I like his little interactions with gabby
