Also, FYI:
The organization Care and Share is hosting a neighborhood discussion about SNAP at the building from 5:00–6:00 p.m. They want to hear your honest opinions about the program.

Perk: Every participant will receive a $25 gift card (likely for Walmart).
They are looking to hear from 6-12 people.

skyhinews.comWe are incredibly excited to unveil the beautiful work from students at Trindad State College that will be featured as part of the 150 Framed: A Visual History exhibition at Trinidad History Museum!
Local artists created 14 different murals, each depicting a different decade in our area’s history, using inspiration from local students. This art exhibit will be displayed throughout the museum grounds, offering a visual timeline of Trinidad.

Trivia Night!!
Hey fans!
Last month we only had 4 locals and the rest were from Pueblo. This month we are looking for a full house! We can host 40 participants with teams of 1-4. THIS IS A CALL TO ARMS! We are told daily "there's nothing to do down here"... Well here's something fun and free to do! Win really cool prizes and learn some new facts!
If we do not have high enough turn out for these free events, we will be forced to cancel them. We want to bring fun stuff here so please come out and show your support!
This Saturday! 5/23 seating starts at 4:30 - trivia starts at 5!
Check out this photo from Trinidad's past, showing flood damage from approximately 1904. Can you guess where in the city this was taken?

skyhinews.comWednesday Wellness

Hey r/TrinidadColorado fam! 👋 It’s Wednesday—hump day—and the perfect time to check in on our wellness journey.
How’s your week going so far? Energy levels, mood, sleep, movement—give us the honest update.
What’s one small win you’ve had this week (or one thing you’re proud of sticking with)? It can be as simple as drinking more water, going for a walk, setting a boundary, meditating for 5 minutes, or finally meal-prepping. Big or small, we celebrate all progress here!
Drop your win below, and if you’re comfortable, share one thing you’re focusing on for the rest of the week. Let’s lift each other up!
Quick mid-week reset ideas:
• Take 10 deep breaths right now
• Stretch for 5 minutes
• Text someone who makes you smile
• Step outside for fresh air (even if just for a minute)
• Put your phone in another room for 30 minutes
You’ve already made it halfway through the week—be kind to yourself today. 💚
What’s your Wednesday Wellness vibe? Let’s hear it!
The Timbers will NOT open until 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23rd. We strongly encourage customers to attend the LVFPD Pancake Breakfast. We will open at 11am on Saturday, and we will be serving lunch at that time.
