Hello all. A friend of mine knows I love Gaki. I will be visiting her soonish in Illinois and she told me about this place called BATSU that is inspired off of the Batsu games. A live comedy event, done by real people.

Anyone ever go? I think feeling out if this is worth it would be best from fellow Gaki heads. If the inspiration is Gaki here too, I would assume they perform atleast some nods to the guys. Would love to hear your comments on it.

I went into that room and all there was was a fight with two of those necromancers and a bunch of skeletons. I got all the crystals to this point. Went through the door with a pure team. Am I fucked?

Hello all. With the passing of Tim Curry, I believe I am having a Mandela issue here but it triggered me to remember an episode that I 'thought' Tim Curry was in, but I don't think he was. There's lots and lots of episodes of this show that I am not sure what episode I am thinking of but maybe someone else will know.

All I remember was that it was like, this episode where it felt there were kids (I think both kids were boys but could be wrong) that might have been on a road near woods or something and they enter a building that I think was pretty purple-lit up. They went inside and I think it was a hotel or something. I thought the guy who worked in this place was Tim Curry (but again, I doubt it at this point but my brain always filled this episode in as it being him) ..... Inside this building they entered, I only ever remember this lobby area. Maybe a plant in the corner or something but if it WAS a hotel, they never went into any other rooms or down the halls or anything. They entered the room and bam, just the front desk right there. I think the episode may have had to do with hearses too but I don't remember.

It's bothersome because I am used to mostly looking at my right monitor. No matter how I adjust my windows, the new tab always, always opens on whatever window of chrome is left-most. Most days, this is not a problem but some days this happens and it is so tiring pulling the tab from the left monitor's chrome to the right. I have tried pulling my right chrome to my left and left to my right and 100% of the time, the new link opens on my left monitor.

How can I stop this/make it open on my right monitor's chrome/open on the last chrome window I clicked on? Thanks in advance.

My S, W, 2, Caps lock.... everything on that side of the board works all together or not at all. I have went into the sticky keys section of the accessibility and keyboard section and turned off everything. I have rebooted. It's a mess that just won't remedy. How can I fix this? Everything was fine till this was enabled accidentally that one time and it's been a complete hell since.

When using my keyboard, sometimes the S, W, and 2 keys specifically stop working. I could like, key spam and eventually they would start working at the same time as normal. If I am in a game I am playing on my laptop, I have not yet experienced an issue with these keys not working. I swear this issue came to light when I accidentally launched sticky keys (which are now disabled and my computer has been restarted since as well)

Is there any reason this would be happening to the area where these specific keys are located?

All I can find are like, videos on youtube. Is there any location where to download these and at atleast a moderately okay-quality? Been trying to VIA torrent but the torrent I found is practically completely dead and has been at 0% for months. :(

Hello everyone. I have been using a Lenovo Legion 5 (Lenovo Legion 5 15ARH05H (82B1)) for about 5+ years now and this thing just gets so hot now. Some areas just outright hot to really even touch. It's about time I really get a new laptop.

So, two big things I need. Space for video footage, and memory to hopefully stop slowdowns. I just found out that supposedly an 82B1's memory is just 8GB?...... So I assume just getting a 32GB memory laptop would greatly improve my needs? I was thinking this thing was a 32gb laptop but apparently not. Ideally, I would also hope for one that's as big as the 82B1 in screen, but hopefully maybe lighter.

Is there a Lenovo Legion (or other) out there that would be a significant upgrade to where I would likely not have super bad lag issues and heating issues, while performing very well for my video work? I was always told Legions are good for editing. This kinda was, but it did always have slowdown issues and since it seems to have been running on 8gb of memory, I assume just getting a 32gb memory laptop is all I need to fix my issues? If so, what's a good one?

For price, I dunno, anything under 3000 if the laptop is truly worth the price. I want something that will perform very well for my editing, since video editing is a massive hobby of mine.

Hello all. I was in the city a few weeks ago and got only 2/3 of them. I simply could not find a red/South Station card. I am going in again today to hope to find one, and maybe another blue because the blues I got have this white line cut going through the top.

I know the supplies are limited and that machines might change. Does anyone have a pretty recent idea where to find each of the cards? I'd go back to where I found my blue ones but the machines ruining the cards just leaves me skeptical. I am also sure there might be some people out there who still might be interested in an updated location for each of the cards, should there still be any.

Edit: Today on 21-Jun, I found one red card machine and two blue card machines under DTX. These were on the orange line platform side Forest Hills bound. Machine closest to gates gave red, two in the middle blue, and farthest from the gates was not dispensing cards.

I was in the city two weeks ago trying to get one of each card and was completely unable to get a machine to dispense a red card, and all the blue ones I got for some reason kept having cut-streaks across the pictures.

I ideally want to get back up there soon to try again, but likely won't for another two weeks or so.

I'd ask machines that still dispense them but I don't even know if they'd be dedicated red ones in two more weeks from now.

Hello all. I plan to see friends next month in the city and I have perks with Holiday Inn/IHG. The hotels I can seem to consider are the following:

Holiday Inn Express HARTFORD - NEWINGTON by IHG
Holiday Inn Express HARTFORD SOUTH - ROCKY HILL by IHG
Holiday Inn Express VERNON - MANCHESTER by IHG

... It does not seem any of these hotels offer shuttle into the city. I 'do' plan to be back and forth quite a bit. Probably 10ish or so times over the course of the weekend. Using these hotel options, what's the easiest way through public transit without say, using Lyft? I have Lyft as a backup at this time, but I want to assure myself options if any. Be it trains, other buses, whatever there may be that extends that far out.

1 - As we know, the Chase portal prices are pretty inflated compared to Expedia. As long as I use my card, can I get Edit credit use outside of the Chase portal if I 'buy now' using Expedia and/or directly on the Hotel's website? It feels like this must be done on the Chase portal but I hope not.

2 - There's not too too many options for using my chase dining credit locally. I can, but it's tough and the good places are already booked out. I heard something about using Toast or something for this? Or that if a restaurant uses Toast or something, it works? Can I get clarification on this? If people are curious, I'd likely want to get credit for Mahaniyom, Uni or Toro up in the Boston area. Would any of these work?

The silliest one I am aware of is Beach House. Is there something sillier? I am sure there is. She typically sticks to romantic stuffs but Beach House kind of steps outside of that while still staying in that realm.

What else does this, or completely steps away from that romantic-style and keeps it fun/different?

This is depressing. I've seen her at Anime Boston many years and other events here and there. She might not be widely known but if you go to any cosplay events in the city, you possibly know of her.

I don't know why they chose to get rid of this free advertisement of their brand that was being portrayed in a positive, happy, and fun light, but it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I've already been moving away from Dunkin' (for more local, non-chain coffee shops) but this kind of just..... makes me want to move away faster.

They could have reached out to her, had her go to events on their behalf, run promos, and be another Boston legend to see around the city. Take pictures with kids. Be a great fun time on the brand. She's been doing this for her own fun as far as I know. From even a capitalist perspective, I just don't get the issue here where Dunkin' feels they need to C&D her. I highly, highly doubt she's actually making money on this.

Rufflebutt Cosplay is her name and she has a video up online about it. Can't link her socials here but as a cosplay enjoyer, it's depressing.
