I don’t understand how HDB can even like acacia after all this

I know he’s also a horrible person but I feel like this is A LOTTTT for just a “boyfriend” to be dealing with. Like they’ve barely been dating for what, a year???? I just find it hard to believe he’s okay with all this and on acacias side. But so far it truly does seem that way. It’s just hard to imagine.

Like, “oh yes it’s a great idea to keep your kids from their father and have them miss school! Even though the internet finds out everything and I’m associated with you! It’s a great idea! I love you!”
Like what in the world ….
I honestly hope he dumps her lol.

Acacia Brinley Kersey @acaciakers on tik tok has “abducted” her children per court documents

There is a lot of verified information on Reddit on her snark page, there is a few docs missing from this post but I just wanted you all to see the gist of it. This is after multiple court cases against her for neglecting the children and her disabled daughter.
Disabled daughter was hospitalized for dehydration
School reached out bc the kids were missing multiple days of school
Doctors reached out because multiple important appointments were missed
Acacia pulled them from school early AND did not allow them to go the first week of school (it is unknown if they have been since)
Children’s whereabouts are still unknown.

I feel like a bad mom

I found out I was pregnant with #2 when my daughter was only 11 months old. I’m due at the end of September so she will be almost 20 months when baby 2 comes, which is another daughter. I am SOOOO excited for the baby. My daughter pats my belly and says baby, she is so gentle and loves to feed and take care of her baby dolls. I’m not worried about the transition so much - more of a guilt that I won’t have more time alone with my daughter.

As I reach the end of my pregnancy I am exhausted and always worn out. I’m a SAHM and my husband works full time. I play with my daughter as much as I can and teach her new things all the time and she truly is so brilliant and smart I am so proud of her. But I feel guilt lately that I just can’t keep up. I have resorted to watching movies and kind of just sitting on the couch. Sometimes she’ll cuddle and sit with me, sometimes she’ll keep playing but I just feel bad I have been turning on the tv so much. I try to limit it to 1-2 movies a day but sometimes we even go to 3.
I know certain toys she loves like her tonies box and I just got her a few more tonies to occupy her, she loves reading so I will read as much as I can, I just can’t get down on the floor as easily. I even started to just take showers with her because the bath was so hard to do now with bending over and everything. She loves the shower though so I’m not mad at that 😂

I just feel guilty that I haven’t been there as much as I was before and then all of sudden (to her) a new baby will be here and taking my attention too.

EncompassFarming …..

Has anyone seen this lady on their FYP?! For the record I think home births and natural births are completely fine but she is denying all medical care, has never been to the doctor once and is pushing 42 weeks pregnant!!! This is getting extremely dangerous for her and the baby. In previous comments she has said that it’s “life” if the baby dies or if she dies. It’s just really scary to see.. also I am 31 weeks with my second baby and it’s just making my heart hurt. I really hope for the best for her and her baby but it’s just so worrisome.

Moving/room sharing advice?

Hi! I am due beginning of October with baby girl #2. My oldest will be 19 months when she is born.

We are currently in a 3 bedroom apartment where my daughter currently has her own room and is completely sleep trained. Falls asleep easily, wakes up easily. Sleeps through the night etc.

Our lease is up in December and we have to move, no matter what our rent is just too high here at these apartments. I have found a lot of 3-4 bedroom homes that are super affordable and even less rent than what we are paying now. It’s too early to start applying now but when the time comes I have been considering on if we should get a 3 bedroom or 4 bedroom. There are plenty of 4 bedrooms that are really nice and affordable but there are 3 bedrooms that are obviously cheaper.

My question WWYD? Should we do a 12-15 month lease with a 3 bedroom and have them room share? New baby will be in our room for at least the first 6 months before we would want to transition her to her own room. My first daughter actually was in our room for an entire year but if I could go back and do it differently I would have transitioned her earlier.

Do you think having a 6m old, and by that time a 2 year old, in the same room would be too complicated? How would it work? Would i eventually get them on the same schedule? My daughter’s bedtime is around 7:30-8:30pm right now. And she wakes up around 8:30am every day. She does occasionally wake up in middle of the night I think due to teething and I just tuck her back in and she falls back asleep almost instantly.

Like I said there are tons of 4 bedroom options but there are a lot more 3 bedroom options in our price range. So I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or advice? Should we just get 4 bedrooms and call it a day? Would it work out with 3 bedrooms? It’s not permanent and we are looking to buy a house in the next few years and then we are definitely looking for 4 or even 5 bedrooms. But for now with renting we would actually be saving money vs what we have been spending in apartments.

Thanks for any advice!
Edit:
I forgot to add that the 3rd bedroom is for my 11 year old step son. So the smallest we can go is 3 bedrooms and have my girls room share.

Not a huge change but enough to make me feel relieved and refreshed!!

Pregnant and nesting. Baby #2 is coming Oct, and I will have 2 under 2 - my first is already 17m and out grew the playpen but I have been avoiding putting it away and getting organized. I don’t have many shelves or places to put things but we move in December so I am telling myself this will do until then. She has so much more space to play now and can see her toys much better!!

Next up is her room 🤣

Semi unfucked my closet!

Pregnant lady here with a toddler ! I posted a few weeks ago and I finally did it !! (Sorta) I took a lot of different advice - I put a lot of clothes I don’t wear or fit in, in garbage bags and shoved them in the corner. I got a couple cheap plastic dressers from target and put some clothes in there and hung everything else up. I feel so much better. I can see the floor!

Edit to add: I set my toddler up in our room with me with snacks and toys lol, I set up her mini couch in front of our bed and put on high school musical and then Toy Story (took two movies to do this all) she actually helped me throw away some of the trash lol!!
It wasn’t as miserable as I was anticipating it to be!
We move in December so I’ll deal with the old clothes and sort all that out later when we move. But for now this is a relief and I can’t stop looking at it! I just have been standing in there feeling proud lol.

Gift idea “from” baby to older sibling after birth?

Hi!! I am 31 weeks today and my daughter will be 19 months when her little sister is born.

She is too young to understand what is really going on but I still wanted to have the baby “bring” her a gift when we come home with her. I was wondering if there’s any gift ideas that were impactful or memorable from anyone else who’s done something similar? I was thinking a baby doll but I was unsure if that would just be too much “baby” lol.

We plan to have them meet at home, my MIL and FIL will be watching my older daughter at our home and our plan is to come home with new baby and have them meet there.

31 weeks pregnant and I just had a break down thinking about how much of a change everything is going to be for my daughter

My daughter will be 18m next week, baby’s due date is Oct 5 and I just am thinking about how everything is going to play out. She will be at her grandmas while I give birth and just think it’s a fun day at grandmas. She loves going to grandmas house. Then when we are finally home everything is just going to be so different and she’s not going to understand why. She’s too young to understand that a baby is coming, even though I try to tell her. She laughs and taps my belly and when I ask to give it kisses she does and I say “it’s your baby!” And she even knows where to point when I say “where is the baby?” But I know she just truly doesn’t understand and I am a stay at home mom with her and have been since she was born, and spending every second of every day with her is my favorite thing in my life and I just feel so sad to think it’s all changing but also so happy to bring her baby sister and watch them grow up together so close in age. I grew up with brothers so I’m so excited to experience sisterhood through them.

I have just been in my feelings crying about this and needed to vent.

I also don’t know how to handle the hospital visit. Do I have her come and meet her sister just for her to have to leave again not long after?? Should I just wait for the meeting until we are home?? I just don’t know what to do.

I feel sick to my stomach about this but also so excited at the same time to have another baby.

Pregnant, and I have a toddler. I have been avoiding my closet but now it’s making me anxious pls don’t judge me :(

70% of these clothes no longer fit me since I gained weight from baby #1 and I need to get rid of them but everything is mixed up
I have boxes of items at the top from my childhood(things id like to keep) with no other places to put them. I have junk and things I never use, and quite literally nowhere to stand or put things away. I have been living out of laundry baskets in our bedroom making that cluttered too. God bless my husband for being so patient with me

I look at it and I want to cry

Eufy S1 vs S2?

Hi! Upcoming second time mom here, due beginning of Oct.

My first baby I had a hard time breastfeeding and issues with my production. My baby latched perfectly but I just didn’t produce enough. I tried 4 different types of pumps.

(pump that shall not be named) wearable S9 - didn’t like it at all

Spectra s2 - it was okay. Personally wasn’t a fan of the big pump parts and I didn’t notice an increase in milk flow.

Lansinoh signature - basically the same as the spectra to me honestly.

Motif Aura Glow - liked this one the best actually and I used it further along in my journey but still had issues with production.

I know a breast pump isn’t going to magically make me produce more milk but I was just over all disappointed in my pumps.

My first daughter was born March 2025 and my second will be here Oct 2026. I stopped breast feeding my daughter October 2025. So it will be a full year of no breastfeeding. I did have to supplement with formula 50/50 because I just couldn’t produce enough milk to fully feed my daughter as she got older.

After doing research for a year I really think I may like the Eufy wearable pumps. I like the s1 and s2 because of the heating features but the s2 also has the massage feature too which I think may help.

Does anyone have any advice or experience with these pumps? Any other suggestions?

My insurance covers some of the pumps but neither of Eufy pumps. The s1 is partially covered while the s2 has no coverage so it’s a bit expensive but I’m willing to put in the money for better output. Also this pregnancy has been overall much better than with my first daughter.
First pregnancy I gained 80lbs and had preeclampsia. This pregnancy I have only gained 15lbs in total so far and I just feel much healthier. (On baby aspirin for the preeclampsia)

Feeling sad about not having enough time with my daughter

I’m 26 weeks pregnant with another baby girl, by the time she is born my first daughter will be almost 18 months old.

When I first found out i was pregnant, I was shocked. As it really did come by surprise because I was on birth control, the depo shot, but missed the next shot by just a week or so and ended up getting pregnant when my daughter 11 months old. I went through a whirlwind of emotions, happy, scared, sad, excited all of them. I’ve been over all very very excited especially since it’s a little girl, I’m so excited to raise two daughters so close in age.

It’s not the ages that scare me, it’s the fact that my daughter is so young and I am literally so obsessed with her that I feel a type of guilt that my time will be shared shorty. I am a stay at home mom. Seeing her in the morning is my favorite. She is at such a fun age right now and I just really enjoy being her mother and teaching her, playing with her, everything. I’m struggling with the thought that there will be soon a newborn to attend too and I can see that eventually, once my second daughter is a little older, things will probably go back to normal and I’ll have two little girls to play with and teach… there’s going to be a moment of confusion for my daughter. I feel like she is so young and she doesn’t even understand that I’m pregnant or there is a baby coming. It’s going to be such a surprise and shock to her and I’m worried how it’s going to be.

She is a mamas girl, she wants me by her side 24/7 from the second she opens her eyes to the moment she closes them I am there with her. I worry that she will be resentful to me and the baby, that she’s not going to understand. I mourn the time that I won’t get with her, I just wanted to have a little more time being JUST HER mom. I know this sounds selfish, maybe crazy too, but I have just been reminiscing on how fast she has grown, and she’s only a year and a half and that’s barely any time I had with her.
I’ve just been sad the past few days.

I’m curious if any mothers out there experienced something similar, or similar feelings,
Or had similar ages and timelines to let me know how it was for you.

All these feelings come from an immense amount of LOVE I have for my daughter and I know that this love will just double in size once my baby is born but for now I am just stuck in my feelings.

Registry ideas ?

Hi! My second daughter is due end of September, my first will be 17 months by then. Two daughters, so close together has made everything so easy!

I was asked to put together a registry by my family but I’m honestly unsure what to add? I have everything from my daughter from every stage.

I have a double stroller listed, another high chair and pack n play, and a dresser for my newborns room. So 4 things, lol!

I didn’t want to add clothes because I have every article of clothing from every age of my first daughter, and even things she never wore before.

I can’t think of anything else that I may need. Is there anyone with similar age gaps/same gender that realized they needed some things after birth that I should add?

I can’t be seen until 5pm tomorrow, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!! 48 hours after extraction

Top right, last molar. Got an extraction with a membrane collagen plug and a bone graft Monday morning.

Collagen plug came loose yesterday, went back at 4pm they took it out and restitched it. Looked great. (Last photo)

Today all day it’s just becoming looser and looser and now is hanging low beneath my teeth and when I close my mouth my bottom teeth hit it. I cannot be seen until 5pm tomorrow because the dentist is closed now and that’s when my husband gets off work to watch our daughter.

It hurts, it’s throbbing, but no blood, or swelling. Slight odor and bad taste. Today I ate nothing but liquids and super soft foods (smoothie with a spoon, ramen noodles, mashed potatoes)

Swallowing, chewing, talking, really irritates it.

Why is this happening? My best friend had an extraction in the exact same location, with a bone graft too, and they didn’t do the plug.

u/Latter-Baseball9652 — 2 months ago

Please someone tell me if this is normal after an extraction

I had my tooth pulled 2 days ago(Monday) Yesterday I had to go back in because the membrane/collagen plug was falling out. They took it out and restitched it. Now the next day it is falling out again, and even more than yesterday. Also it’s kind of smelly which is gross I know but I can’t go back to the dentist today because I have no one to watch my daughter. Is this normal? Is it supposed to fall out???
I did have a bone graft put in. No extreme pain but it is throbbing a little. I’m pregnant so I can only take Tylenol for pain.
