At the end of the ten weeks, Ayano would be at 0% sanity after killing Megami. She's left a bloody letter in senpai's shoelocker, and he has found bloody fingerprints smeared on the handle. Concerned, he calls the police before he approaches the cherry tree where Ayano stands. Ayano, is bloody and waiting, watches the horrified Taro approach. She confesses each and every way she eliminated all of the rivals. Taro thinks back to Osana, his childhood friend. He's enraged at her demise but he stays quiet. Deciding to play along, he cups her cheek and says he isnt mad at her. And that he loves her too. When she leans in to kiss him, he rips the knife from her hand and slits her throat. He keeps eye contact when he says their names. All Ayano can murmur is a small "thank you, senpai.."

When the police arrive, they find a massacre. Every person at Akademi was slaughtered. They find Taro's bloody form at the cherry tree. Ayano is gone. When they take him into custody, they only find evidence that taro killed ayano. He can say it was self defense. He says how Ayano confessed to making every single girl who caught his eye disappear. They put him in a government witness protection program. He asks if he can move somewhere else in another town and restart. He undergoes a few years of therapy before opening a support group for murder witnesses. He decides to retire alone.
