Could an Xbox controller wake up a steam machine with the guide button?

Just wondering if when paired with a Steam Machine if the guide button could wake up a Steam Machine like it can an Xbox?

also would steam input work with an Xbox controller?

Can anyone explain what happened here? Shiny hunt question

so I’m in a hyperspace zone, and a cluster of Pokemon I want a shiny from is nearby, so I do the run to and away trick to eventually get a normal shiny to appear, I save the game, I then keep doing the trick until a second shiny spawns and that one is an alpha, I save the game.

I decide to fight the alpha since it’s the stronger of the 2 but an AOE attack on it also hits the normal shiny and defeats it, I run to that shiny to catch it but just miss out by a millisecond and it starts the disappearing animation, so I close the game, and reload my save but I was still in a fight with the rest of the Pokemon in the cluster I never left the battle.

When I go back to that cluster after loading my save both shinies are now Alphas.

I thought shinies couldn’t change alpha status after spawning, and the cluster size was the same size.

can anyone explain this?

Based on the Steam Machine specs, how well would Total War: Warhammer 3 play on it?

There may be a website that can do this but I don’t know of any myself.

Unit size would be at Ultra as that’s how the game is meant to be played. But what kind of graphic level could be played without frame drops and would FSR help with this game in particular? TIA.

I did post this in the steam machine Reddit but the mods there deleted it saying it was low effort, well it’s a question I would like to be answered.

Are we expecting steam machine/frame reviews to drop before reservations?

I remember reviews for the controller happened the week before they announced it, then the following week it releases, we expecting the same for machine/frame? Also which day in the week did reviews drop for controller, was it Thursday?

Baxcalibur, underrated, overrated? Better dragon or ice Pokemon?

Just wondering how people feel about this Dragon/Ice type Pokemon, removes one of the 2 weaknesses for dragon in ice but then opens you up to even more in Steel, Rock and Fighting. Personally I’m not a massive fan of its design.

Do you think any other dragon or ice Pokemon are better than it?

Do hyperspace zones with level 3 shiny donut, lock in which Pokemon is guaranteed shiny before you enter?

I’ve been trying to reroll a hyperspace zone with a shiny level 3 donut, and the exact same Pokemon has been shiny every time, I’m doing the back up save method so I’m not reloading a save from within the zone.

Not once has the guaranteed shiny been a different species. If its a charmander for the guaranteed fire zone no matter how many times I load the backup save and re enter it will always be a shiny Charmander despite other species being present.

Is this an accurate rule of thumb? Alpha for melee and weight using Pokemon?

so is the title a good rule of thumb for Pokemon, if you are using a Melee Pokemon or a Pokemon using weight based attack you’d want them as Alphas? for an example Snorlax using a weight based attack would be better being an Alpha.

However a Pokemon using ranged attacks would be better as a XS as they would be harder to find/hit for the opponent?

Is there a list of which moves have bigger range when used by an Alpha?

The only one I know of is Earthquake, but just wondering if there’s a list of all moves that have bigger ranges when used by an Alpha?

Playnix vs Steam Machine

Not trying to cause an argument just want some opinions on the comparison between the 2.

Obviously the Playnix is a stronger system compared to Steam Machine, but Steam Machine was designed for Steam OS.

Does anyone have any for and against for either system?

for reference the Playnix
