Couple overclocking question from a complete beginner

I’m looking at a PC build

9800X3D

PowerColor 9070 XT Reaper

corsair vengeance 2x16GB 6000 MHz CL30

I saw it suggested that overcooking the amd components is pointless and undervolting would be better. I do want to overclock the ram though so it does run at 6000 MHz.

first is it safe to undervolt a cpu and gpu while overclocking the ram at the same time?

Also is the process of undervolting and overclocking a difficult process for a beginner, and what are the risks involved?

The motherboard would be MSI.

OS would be Steam OS

Which 9070XT is the best for my build?

I’m using a Lian Li A3 with a ASUS TUF Gamimg B850M-Plus motherboard and the GPU slot is lower down, I did want to get the sapphire 9070 xt pulse but it would block installing the bottom fans in the case. Which means I need a card which is smaller in how many slot sizes it takes.

Which is the best card which is 2/2.5 slot sizes with good performance/thermals/noise?

right now I’m looking at the PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is this the best, or is there something better?

Thanks.

Best case fans for a Lian Li A3?

What would be the best case fans for a Lian Li A3 running a 9800x3D with a Noctua L12S on it and a 9070XT? Looking for something that hopefully is silent with good airflow.

Thanks.

Best mini tower/itx case for thermals? Dust filter helpful

Hello, what’s the best mini tower pc case you could recommend, I was looking at a fractal design ridge build but was told for what I want a 9800x3d with a Noctua NH-L12S fan wouldn’t leave enough room and to look for bigger cases, it needs to be a case that can fit a 9070xt which is a 3 slot size card as well.

if it has a dust filter that’s easy to access would be a bonus.

Also if you have a better cooling suggestion for the case you recommend over a NH-L12S that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Bazzite vs Steam OS on finding where games/apps are installed

so I have a Steam Deck, and I had a hard time finding where game/app installations are in the system, in one example I installed battle.net and starcraft 2 and had no idea where they went, is Bazzite better when it comes to this?

Which is better for Bazzite, AMD or Nvidia GeForce GPUs?

originally I was looking at getting a steam os build pc which would require AMD, but I was told Bazzite supports nvidia, and if the support for bazzite is better with nvidia it may make me change my mind on the build. So which is better?

I’ve seen the Noctua NH-L12s recommended for cooling in a fractal design ridge, but it’s leaves no room at all?

I’m looking at a custom build and when looking for what cooler to get the most common answer was the L12S, followed by the Deepcool AN600.
The 600 would leave 3mm of room but would make noise due to being so close to the case but the L12S would leave none.
So wouldn’t it just vibrate on the case and possibly effect heat levels due to being so cramped? Any other fans you could suggest for a Fractal Design ridge case.
Want to keep a 9800x3D cooled. Thanks.

Steam OS vs Bazzite, purely for gaming and controller use

so which would be better purely for gaming , and to use a controller to play various games and navigate? the most desktop side would be used for would be to install GOG or blizzard, maybe some game mods.

also on bazzite is it easier to find game installations compared to steam os?

How hard is Bazzite to install for a complete beginner?

so yeah how hard is it to install for someone who has no experience installing OS?

In Steam OS on the steam deck there’s just a simple update button in its menu, does Bazzite have the same?

I was just wondering if I used bazzite and I believe you can have it auto launch into steam big picture mode, which is what the deck is doing right? would there be a similar update button there? or is their a similar button located elsewhere?

I just really want to get away from windows.

Looking at a custom SFF build, how would this be with noise and temps? 9800x3d with a Deepcool AN600

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/zF6Lck

fractal design ridge case.
I have seen some comments online suggesting a NH-L12S in general but that isn’t an option with the custom build website I’m looking at, it was deep cool or a be quiet fan.

Does anyone know what kind of temps and noise this SFF build would make?

Hello, I’ve tried googling this but wanted to see if anyone had real world experience with this build, I can’t really change the parts in this build as it’s part of a customisable pre built and what I can change would be less powerful components.
Google AI said it would be like a 40 decibel build and would run hot especially at the CPU, potentially nearing throttling levels but it’s google AI and AI is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot.

I intend to use Steam OS on it, so AMD for the CPU and GPU
