Level 76 requirements

I see one of the requirements is 38 platinum medals, and I was bracing to have a long haul to work on this as I’m only at 31 but now that I hit level 75 and am working on 76 that task is already marked as complete? I double checked and definitely only have 31 platinum so what the heck? Glitch?

BOLO for me?

I hope this is allowed lol - I’m so saddened that moody ales isn’t brewing anymore! I know they closed but I was under the impression they were still brewing and beers still being sold at liquor stores. I’m an absolute fiend for their lavender sour and after pregnancy was so excited to indulge, but it sounds like once stock has run out at liquor stores they’re not being restocked (as I guess they’re not even being produced anymore)

ASK: if anyone has happened to see the lavender sour even in single cans at ANY liquor stores ANYWHERE in the lower mainland please let me know I need to taste it one last time before accepting they’ll never be produced again

Moody ales

Super random but does anyone have contact info for the brewers of moody ales? I know the brewery shut down but from what I understand they are still brewing and selling out of select liquor stores. I’ve had a few different liquor stores tell me that they’re gonna get their beer rep to contact the moody ales folks to contact me and none have panned out! Do these people still exist in any capacity?

Cascade peninsula campground

Hi! I don’t know why this seems impossible to find but I’ve been scouring Facebook groups to see if anyone has ever posted a photo of the group site at cascade peninsula (Harrison lake) and I can’t find a thing. Trying to gauge what kind of shade we might be working with and what we might need to bring. Has anyone been to the group site and have insight or photos they can share? :)

baby waking up hysterical - what’s going on?!

Hi! My son is a few days from turning 7 months. Sleep trained with Ferber (modified) since about 5 ish months and his naps and night sleep have all been perfect. A couple weeks ago we switched to two naps and I was worried, but that’s also been perfect - he gets fussy - ish but tolerates the longer windows and has continued to sleep through the night

We’ve been doing 3.25 / 3.25 / 3.5 but maaaybe 2-3 times in the last couple weeks first window of 3 hours, bringing total awake time to 9.75 - 10 hours. Wake time used to be 6:30am but he’s been liking sleeping til 7am lately, and bedtime falls between 7pm and 7:30pm (usually closer to 7:30pm) depending on nap length through the day (total nap time 2.5 - 3 max spread between two)

Last night, 3 hours after falling asleep, he woke up HYSTERICAL. Like, a different type of cry. I applied Ferber and waited before going in, and when I did he was breathing so hard and really really difficult to settle. I offered comfort, back and bum pats and verbal reassurance and left the room with him still awake and unsettled but a bit more calm, and had to go back for a second check in 8-10 mins later. After that, he slept perfectly through til I woke him at 7am

I thought this was a one off, maybe a bad dream? Tonight, I got him to sleep at about 7:05pm, and 1-2 mins later he was HYSTERICAL, again the same type of hysterical as last night. Not a regular fussing himself to sleep kind of crying. I waited 5 minutes and as I was about to go in, his owlet dream sock alerted me that my baby needs attention; that’s how hysterical the crying is that it prompted an alert due to his heart rate. He settled after a couple minutes and has been asleep for about 45 minutes now.

What the heck is this? Is this a normal phase? A new regression? Should I be expected another wake at 3 hours again? It didn’t happen for any of his nap times yesterday or today. Anyone experienced this wildly different type of crying and difficult to settle phase from their baby who was an angel sleeper? Like I said he still slept perfectly last night after the burst, but what the heck??

when did the rainbow song change?

When did “indigo and violet” replace purple? That’s like eliminating green and adding chartreuse and forest… I grew up with good ol fashion red orange yellow green blue purple 🥲

Edit to add: I’m from Canada and born in the early 90s

ETA another question: I learned about colour-mixing ie: red + yellow = orange, yellow + blue = green, blue + red = purple, and thus full circle of the six colours of the rainbow. Where do indigo and violet come in with the mixings for those who learned with I+V?

olay quench

Does anyone remember Olay Quench body lotion? I basically caked myself in it daily in the early 2000s lol. I frequently think of it and re-upset myself that it was discontinued. Anyone know of any body lotions with a similar scent?

Am I overreacting re: chemicals / toxicity?

With all the info out there about the toxic chemicals and materials in some (or a lot?) of SHEIN products, especially baby items, i recently returned all the baby stuff i bought my infant out of an abundance of caution. I more recently bought another order of stuff just for myself, and now I feel myself being a little paranoid about even touching the plastic bags and the clothing and then touching my baby. I’m not normally a germaphobe or paranoid about this kinda stuff but with a baby I feel like i need to be careful? I tried some stuff on then literally showered before i would pick my baby up again.

Is that over the top? Am i overreacting about the chemicals in their stuff or is that valid?

MY ISSUE AT THE END!

Current ish but working on transitioning:
DWT: 6:30am
Bedtime: 7:30pm
11 hours night sleep
Bedtime routine: bath every other night, lotion, pjs, bottle, story(s), singing, sleep
Ferber trained-ish (still working on it) he generally sleeps pretty well
Approx ww’s: 2/2.5/2.5/3
Totalling 10 hours wake time

As of today working on transitioning to 2.25/2.5/2.75/3 to work on extending ww’s as he turns 6 months in a few days

Naps have been working well consistently 1hr 15 mins for the first two and 30 mins for the last one totalling an age appropriate 3 hours of day time sleep

MY ISSUE RIGHT NOW: today’s first nap was 1hr 20 mins, second nap was only 30 mins as we were out and about, normally he sleeps well on the go but he woke up and wouldn’t go back to sleep

Do I keep the last nap only 30 mins to preserve sleep pressure tonight?

OR do I give him extra time for the last name (45-60 mins?) to prevent him being over tired for tonight’s sleep?

Hi! My baby will be 6 months old in five days. I’m trying to figure out where to start with adjusting his wake windows / nap lengths. Where do you start when adding more wake time? Which naps is it best to subtract time from?

He used to wake for one night feed between 2:30am and 4am, but those have kind of stopped, but we’re currently struggling with EMWs between 4:45am and 5:30am, most times I can feed him and get him back to sleep but sometimes it takes 30 or so minutes for him to fall back asleep, then he’ll sleep until 7 ish (which is kinda nice for me, but throws off our schedule a bit)

DWT: 6:30am
Bedtime: 7:30pm
11 hours night sleep
Bedtime routine: bath every other night, lotion, pjs, bottle, story(s), singing, sleep
Ferber trained-ish (still working on it) he generally sleeps pretty well
Approx ww’s: 2/2.5/2.5/3
Totalling 10 hours wake time

His first 2 naps are usually 1hr 15 mins (give or take, I’ll adjust the second one accordingly) and 3rd nap 30 mins
Totalling 3 hours day sleep

I think my schedule / timings are all pretty spot on for 5 months old, so if anyone has any suggestions for how to combat the EMWs I’d appreciate that!

Plus, looping back to my original question, what’s the best way to make tweaks to the ww’s and naps to transition him to a more age appropriate schedule for 6 months old?

TIA!

Has anyone asked for suggestions, scoured through the lists and actually been like YEAH that’s the one! And then actually gone with it? What was the name? When the baby grows up are you gonna tell them that auntie DistastefulPenguin2749 is the one that chose their name?

I’m a millennial and thought I was good at technology, but this is driving me nuts?? This task? Bar? Menu bar? Thing never used to be here when I’d make a video full screen, now it is and I can’t figure out for the life of me how to make it go away when I’m in full screen mode ???

Hi! 5.5 months old. Ugh I’m struggling. After the regression I thought we found such a good groove with sleep, but now we’re facing fighting naps and EMWs and I’m not sure where I’m missing the mark with his schedule

DWT: 0630, bedtime: 1930

2/2.5/2.5/3

Nap 1 and 2 are approx 1 hr 15 mins, nap 3 is 30 mins, totalling 3 hours day sleep, 10 hours awake, approx 11 hours night sleep which seems like the textbook perfect set up for his age

Guy is fighting naps (he does put himself to sleep, but I have to go in once or twice to settle him before he does)

He goes down easy at night, drowsy but awake after his feed. He sleeps from approx 7:30pm (sometimes 7:15, sometimes 7:45 depending on timing / naps through the day) and our nights only have 2 wakes max, looking like:

- sometimes wakes around midnight and just needs resettling, back to sleep within 5-10 mins

- sometimes wakes any time between 2am and 4am for a feed

- sometimes both; sometimes neither

- but lately, I’d say 8/10 of the last nights, he wakes around 5am seemingly ready to party. It feels so close to DTW that I try to just settle him and avoid feeding / fully waking, but lately I’ve been giving in and feeding him, which will result in going back to sleep until 6:30 or 7, but it takes him a while to get back to sleep (maybe 20-30 mins) If I DONT feed him, he’ll fuss and stir and toss and turn and whine for approx 45 minutes - 1 hour before falling back to sleep

Maybe this isn’t an issue at all? I don’t mind doing a feed at 2, 3, 4am, but the 5am wake ups where he takes forever to go back down is what I’m trying to get help with

Is there somewhere I should be making tweaks in our schedule? Should I be approaching the night wakings (if they happen) differently?

I’m also mindful that he’ll be 6 months shortly and the schedules / wake windows could be approaching a change, so I’m willing to start transitioning the schedule in a way that’ll make those changes easier if anyone has insight on how to go about that?

Thanks in advance for reading my novel!!!
