I have a handful of watched folders used only for managing image files exported from my preferred editor. The folders are typically empty before they receive the images. Existing shortcuts accept the images files when they are exported to the watched folders and add them to a specified album in Photos.

I'd like to create a new shortcut that takes the same new image files and adds all of them to one new Note, adds a title to the note and possibly tags.

Bought one a few months back when the Trek Air Rush was on backorder. Seems like it would be a good tool for trailside air-up but after a few months of use I find it wildly unreliable.

Set it for 9 psi and it turns off at 6 psi. Then the display flicks to 12 psi (when I know for sure I am NOT at 12 psi). Keep pressing the start button and it comes on and immediately off but never makes it to the desired psi.

I am using it with Clik valves now but I got the same results with Presta valves.

I love the size and convenience but if I can't tell what the pressure really is...

The LBS converted my Trek Farley to tubeless when I bought back in December. I haven't had any issues with leaking since.. until today.

I had my bike on my spare tire mounted bike rack for a few hours this afternoon parked in sun.. It was mid nineties today. A hot one.

Saddled up only to find the rear tire nearly deflated. There was no leaking sealant at that point. Aired up and I see this...

It was actually worse.. This is after a bit of time, a ton of spinning the wheel and a short ride.. the sealant is doing its job for the most part. This happened to only the rear. Front is fine.

Possible that the heat caused the tire pressure to rise to the point that it started leaking? Tire pressure is typically about 9 psi in the rear. What else could have caused so many leaks out of nowhere?

I have a set of Fatty Strippers I never installed... if this doesn't resolve itself I will unmount the rear and install the Fatty. If I do have to do that, how much sealant should I use for a 27.5 x 4.5 fat tire?

I have always had more than one Garmin and always switch between them depending on a number of factors. Right now, it's an Epix ProG2 51 and a Fenix8 47. I switch the Primary Wearable in Connect when I swap watches and typically do so right before bed.

If you have more than one Garmin in rotation do you change first thing in the morning? Before going to bed? Randomly without a thought?

Odd.. the Epix appears to be photoshopped onto my forearm doesn't it? It wasn't.

Can’t seen to find a hydration tracking app that syncs to Connect and the Garmin app can’t be added as a complication. Plus the container sizes in the Garmin app make no sense…. -8oz, +8oz, +8oz, +10oz and +12oz? Why two 8oz? Silly.

Any suggestions? I can do without the complication but I would like to chance container size to something more sensible.

I have historically used Open Weather. Not sure why. Currently have an Epix G2 Pro and Fenix8 in rotation. I use Manuel_B's Fenix7 Pro Analog and Fenix8 Pro Analog faces almost exclusively with a single data field displaying current temp.

I also have an AW Ultra2 and the weather info is far more accurate.

On the Garmin's the weather Glance never updates to current location, so it reports erroneous info to the displayed data field on the watches, even with Connect open all the time and constant syncing..

Is Garmin Weather more current and/or up-to-date?

Cliff Notes: iMac & MacBook on the same network. iMac connects to DiskStation without fail. MacBook can't connect directly and verification email to log in using quickconnect sometimes comes, almost always doesn't. How can I access DiskStation using the MacBook?

I am a home user.. so zero network experience. I know an IP address has numbers and spots, but more than that I don't get it all. I am certain I will misuse more than one term, I'll surely leave out something important, I can't figure out how to stream my movie library and I struggle with most of this stuff... so... flame suit is on. Feel free to rip me but I really hope someone can help.

In spite of this I successfully set up a DS418 and have been using it for a few years, but I am reaching the end of my patience with inconsistencies connecting across devices and am starting to think Synology might not be the best option of someone with my limited knowledge. YouTube vids can get me just so far...

The NAS is 75% a backup storage device and 25% remote access to Synology Photos. I don't use email or any of the other enterprise tools. One Admin user, just me. Two other users (also just me), one of which is dedicated to the photos access/management on the iPads. I use Beyond Compare to sync local image folders to the NAS. It all works okay.

I am using one iMac, one MacBook and two iPads. At initial setup I was able to connect Finder on the iMac. That and DiskStation login via browser (Network IP in the url, choose the user & then log in) are my primary access points. The two iPads are used for Synology Photos browsing exclusively. Connecting the MacBook is where things go sideways.

Since the iMac & MacBook are setup on the same home network I assume the same Network IP string that gets me in on the iMac should also get me in on the MacBook. It doesn't. Safari on the MacBook just reports it can't access the web page. I have been able to connect the MacBook using XX.quickconnect.to. I don't do this outside of my home network. This adds the step of TF Authentication which is not a big deal. I can live with that. However the Verification email delivery is sporadic at best. It was fine yesterday but I've request the code a dozen times today and not once has it been delivered via email. Checked all the Junk & Spam folders.. nothing; Still waiting for an email. So my issue is how to mimic the access the iMac has when using the MacBook.

If there is a video or six someone can point me to, that would help. Trying to save you all from too much typing.

I bought this band a few years ago and absolutely love it. I have it in 26mm QuickFit and originally bought it for my old Fenix watches and now use it on my Epix PG251 and want it in 22mm for my Fenix 8. It is true leather with a brushed NuBuck finish.

I absolutely love the Amoled display. Super bright, even turned down, and wonderfully crisp. The difference is obvious when side by side with my Epix Pro G2. During the day, it is sharper and brighter.

However, at night the auto dim feature on the Fenix 8 makes the Epix a clear winner.

Is there any way to turn off the auto dim?

It's annoying.

I check off Remember this Browser, but Connect log in dialog doesn't. Read somewhere that it's a privacy issue but other than the mobile app I only sign in from the same two computers. I don't need or want TF verification.

I stepped up and paid the fee to watch F1TV via Apple TV even though I have no intention of actually watching anything on AppleTV. I don't care for AppleTV in general. I much prefer F1TV.

Surprised to find I have yet another $29 annual subscription to watch the F1 programming I am already paying AppleTV for on the Amazon Firestick. I must be doing something wrong.

After decades of following F1 the combination of less than captivating racing, canceled venues, battery management and nearly $150 a year in subscription fees?

Am I overpaying? Is there a less expensive way to watch F1TV? I have a Samsung smart TV but can't get F1TV app on it.

Every Garmin I have had has been black. Fenix3HR, Fenix 5 Pro, Fenix 6, Forerunner 965 & 970 and still have and use the Epix Pro G2 51.

I am keeping the Epix as my HD hardcore watch for extended backpacking trips and wanted a 47mm for EDC. I just bought and returned the FR970 and now have the Fenix8 Amoled in Titanium. I love the look but don't want to grow tired of the titanium over time.

Can't help but think a 47mm Epix Pro would be a better, less expensive option. The voice and phone control on the 970 didn't work well, which is one of the reasons I returned it (plus it just didn't have the rugged Garmin look I like). Not sure if voice/phone control will be better on the Fenix. I could live without that. Epix AMOLED is bright enough. I can find plenty pre-owned Epix Pro G2 47's but they are not that much less than the new Fenix. I have never bought a Garmin new.. always bought pre-owned and was never unhappy.

Really just venting..

Keep the Fenix as is? Go black?

I have a ton of faces I've purchased for my Epix. Before I take a deep dive into Connect IQ, I'd like see all Garmin faces. I can cycle through them but I'd like to see them side by side. Does anyone know if Garmin has images of all of the Garmin watch faces that are available with the F8?

Just bought a Forerunner 970 primarily for Phone Assistant (plus the flashlight and smaller size compared to my Epix G2 Pro 51 and AW Ultra2).

Curious how those of you pairing a Phone Assistant equipped Garmin with an iPhone are finding the performance. Mine seems to work about 20% of the time. Also can't get my contacts sync'd over in Connect.

Starting to feel the Phone Assistant is a somewhat useless gimmick since I need to be paired to the phone anyway. And when I launch Phone assistant on the Garmin I can see Siri activate on the phone. Leads me question.. is the phone responding to the commands or is the 970 actually doing anything?

This will be my five or sixth Garmin. Planning to retire my AW Ultra2 (again) and go Garmin full time.

I have an Epix Pro that I plan to keep mainly for the larger display and longer battery.. I do a lot of multi-day backing where these two features are useful.

I still see my old Forerunner 965 under Devices in Garmin Connect. I used it side by side with the Epix for a few years and they were setup identically. I'd like the 970 to be setup the same way.

Since I still see the 965, will the 970 use the old 965 backup for its initial setup?

Ordered a set of Clik valve cores and the pump adapter. Trek Farley running tubeless.

Swap was stupid easy to do. The Clik pump adapter screwed into the hose for my Fox Tail Tiny Bike Pump Pro. I never really like the Tiny Bike Pump pressed onto Presta valves, it never seemed to stay seated properly and would shut off before hitting target psi.

Now it just clicks right on with zero issues. Positioning the wheel so the valve is at the top and the pump just hangs there between the spokes doing its job.

One challenge I am working through is.. so far there is no adapter for my digital pressure gauge, so for now that's rendered useless.
