I say this as a die hard Warriors fan and a lifelong Bay Area native, I would love to bring a second NBA team to the bay. The A's / Giants sibling rivalry is dead and being honest with myself, I miss it. Bringing another team to the bay would be like Lakers/ Clippers.
**Oakland**, desperate for a sports team currently. Former warriors arena is constantly sold out for concerts, so the fan market is there. in 4-6 years Oracle can get remodeled or entirely rebuilt. Or the expansion team can build a waterfront stadium in jack London square as previously discussed with the A's.
**San Jose,** home to the 49ers, growing in population every year. Really makes a lot of sense for the entire South Bay silicone valley to have its own team while the Warriors would have SF, and the entire east bay. San Jose is could bring in big $$$ for a team.

If their was a team coming to the bay, they could temporarily play at oracle in Oakland, share Chase center with the Warriors, or play at SJ Sharks SAP center (I'm not sure if this is possible or not).
I really think these cities would be awesome for an expansion team or a move for rumored pelicans/ trailblazers moving.

If you want to achieve the sp1200 sound for those old school drums/samples so they have grit, you need to significantly downgrade the sound. This is not a 1-1 match on sound, but I would say this tip gets %90 of the sp1200 sound.

1. Take your sample (drum or melody)
2. speed it up 8-12x
3. Bounce it.
4. Import the speed up file and slow it back down the same 8x-12x speed.
5. Eq and compression as necessary
6. Make beat

This achieves the sp1200 sound because SP1200 can not hold long recordings. The The sp 1200 is an old machine and holds 10 seconds total of sample time broken down into 4 2.5 second blocks. Artists would want to make their samples as long as possible so they would speed up the incoming sample and then slow it down. This significantly degraded the quality of the sample but gave the SP 1200 the sound so many have come to know.
I really just want to share this for anyone that is interested in learning. Beatmaking can be a very isolated experience when it comes to knowledge learned.
On a side note, there is something to the conversion rate of samplers. The sp1200 has its own converters which I don't think are something you can replicate. That is why I posted this is 90% accurate to the sp1200 sound. The 10% is the converters and

We have a group of 20 and want to play some games. We had fun playing left right center for $3 each on our last get together. I am looking for similar games that everyone can play. We are mostly age 30-60 with a few children. Can anyone suggest games or fun bets we can make?

Not looking to go crazy with the price tag but would like some low-mid tier flashlights that I can pass out to my wife, daughter and family friends when camping. I want to get some BIFL or at least long lasting (I basically want the upgrade from the cheap "backyard" flashlights people pass out to kids). I would rather buy once cry once if it's worth while. Can someone recommend?
