So I am a fresher at IIITD and the thing is ki I am struggling with LA M-1 Course..We had around 3-4 classes till now..My prof is good but idk why I am not able to connect or understand the concepts in class..So what should I do? Should I start learning concepts via online resources along with TUT Sheets or should I trust in time and try to cope up with my prof lectures? I would definitely attend the lecture no matter what..but should I also consider some online resources?

So I want to become a MOD of this subreddit..I am pretty active in this sub..student of this institute..and also have a decent amount of karma..so how can I become one?

Like bro I am fed up of everyone who says that DTU is WAY BETTER then IIITD..like why man?? I have a few friends from my coaching who are going to DTU and NSUT..vo log aisa samjhte hai ki I am compromising my college and unko lagta hai ki IIITD neeche hai DTU/NSUT se..

Like why bro? Humare yaha students kam hai but iska mtlab ye thodi hai ki hume sab aise hi insult krke chale jayege 🥀

Also online me bhi whenever someone made a tier list and puts DTU/NSUT/IIITD in a same tier..sab logo ko(specially DTU ones) ko ptani kyan ho jata hai ki kehne lagte hai ki they are not SAME!! Why bhai? Cutoffs same hai..Placement opportunities same hai..Companies similar aati hai..except for fees and academic load..as such kuch difference nhi hai..and that's everyone's personal damn choice!!..Humne bhi to mehnat kri hai yaar 😭

It's not like ki ye tier vagera mein manta hun..but still bura to lagta hai yaar..yea..that's a small rant..and we also should take a stand of ourself!!!!

I just wanna ask the seniors about the workload of CSE..like which is the toughest CS related branch and which is the easiest? And out of IP,DC,LA,HCI..which course gives most problems to students? And if u all could share some resources to do these..i would really appreciate that :)

So jab mein physical reporting kee liye gya tha..vaha pe the official ne kaha ki notebook me entry krdo and they would contact you on your phone number..so ab I should just wait for hostel? Unhone kaha to tha ki mil jayega temporary hostel for 5 days..when should I expect the call? (My home is around 25km far from IIITD)

First of all..i wanna clear that I am a boy..So actually I am getting NIT Trichy Chemical and IIIT Delhi CSE(home state)..so the problem is ki my parents are kind of possesive towards me..obviously they love me..and I love them too..but the thing is my parents (specially my mother) thinks that academics should be my first and last priority in college 😭😭 My Dad is absolutely a chill person..but obviously he can't do anything about my mother 🥀

So IIIT Delhi is around 25-30km away from my home..there are a slight chance that I would get a hostel but still my mother would definately interfere in my college life(100% sure about that)..She thinks of me as an obedient child who should only focus on academics 😭✌🏻

If we see the options (NIT Trichy Chemical and IIIT Delhi CSE)..Obv IIITD CSE is a better option..it's doing great in placements and research culture is also good there if u want to go for MS..But still I am really worried about my college life..I also wanna have fun and hang out with friends 🥀

Pls don't consider my mom as a villain..she loves me so much..mein bhi bahut pyar krta hun unse..but still she is really over possesive towards me..Ab mereko kyan Krna chaiye..NIT Trichy would offer me a great college life..but IIITD CSE me I would get placements and a relatively better future then NIT Trichy Chemical

I have heard a lot that IIITD is infamous to manipulate the placements percentage..So can anyone share the placement percentage of CSE Branch this year? On the website they have shown that it's around 95% but it's too good to be true..so i would really appreciate if any senior would provide the true stats..thanks :)

I am around 25-30km far from IIITD..so is there any chances ki hostel mil jayega mereko? Like 1st sem me kitne chances hai? And I have heard that 2nd sem onwards there are high chances because many seniors went for internships and placements so hostels empty ho jate hai
