What are the most cringe lyrics you've ever come across?

The lyrics from Wash It All Away by Five Finger Death Punch are probably the most unintentionally embarassing I've ever heard. The only band that I've heard that comes close is Limp Bizkit, but even they seem to have at least a little self-awareness. 5FDP however sound like they were written by an edgy 12-year old boy.

What is the lightest band?

(a continuation of this post)

If we're talking about the average weight of the members then 1990 Mayhem would be my pick. None of those guys look like they weigh much, and Dead was even known to starve himself on purpose.

Last saturday I visited Pelle Ohlin's grave

I don't really have much to say about him other than that he was possibly in one of the worst environments for someone suffering from his illness, a place where he was not only neglected by his band, but also where his darkest impulses were encouraged. This guy needed professional help, not an environment that treated his mental health issues as an edgy gimmick.

What do you think about The Fall Of Ideals by All That Remains?

Personally I love this album, it really helped me open my mind about metalcore. The riffs are good, Phil Labonte's singing is excellent and I like the breakdowns as well. It's also on the more technical side of metalcore which I like. Did it make you like metalcore as well, do you dislike it, or do you see this album as an exception if you dislike the genre?

When does a song's production become too lo-fi for you?

For me personally I can enjoy both raw and polished songs for the most part as long as the music is well-made. But if elements of the music aren't audible because the song's production is too bad then that is just making the song worse. I don't know if that makes me a poser and I don't really care.
