I remember when I moved from Venice to Oxnard.....I took the bus to a smaller show (hardcore shows were big and messy back then) in mar Vista at some small venue....and ran into a younger homie

He wasnt a Sui and wasnt even from venice I dont think he may have been from santa monica I didnt know him well but he was a cool kid a bit younger than me i met at fenders or olympic ...he just was a fan of st....not in the suis

He told me he got jumped by some fooz that called themselves the black diamonds while walking through Hollywood. He said they were a few chicanos and white boys dressed cholo but kinda had that punk swag. They confronted him over his ST shirt....he told them he liked the music but wasnt a sui...they decided to smack him up but didnt pack him out i think they "warned" him if i remember the story right....he seen their graffiti in San fers but wasnt sure where they were from

I think i remember seeing their graffiti and mota locos graffiti downtown Los

I dont know why I remembered them after over 35 years (I went back to Denver, only go to los every few years) but all of a sudden I did

I worked with a few that talk shop all day, and guns, watch police chase videos.....go to grocery store after work in full uniform....even wear their uniform on their day off.....not to mention all the excessive stupid looking gear

And they always want to train and practice the physical side of the job

Never the de-escalation end of it

BUT I was reading kefir is good for "mouth flora" and teeth

I would guess using plain or non-sugary kefir and holding it in your mouth maybe swishing a bit before letting it down the hatch?

And im wondering if best time would be between meals and after brushing teeth before bed....what would you think is best?

I read on Google to rinse acids away so they dont eat enamel

So im wondering if after brushing ....a tall glass of sugar-free kefir swished around and chased with a plain black/green tea combo before would be ideal for mouth health?

Thinking of doing this with about a cup of apple juice after a 6 hour smoke....

So i got alot of downvotes last week for daring to speculate topical uses for kefir ...lol turns out i was RIGHT

Now im really gonna anger the kefir "purists" and looking forward to your downvotes and naysaying lol

I am thinking of trying out excess kefir whey in my pipes!!!

There are already a few enzyme/bacterial pipe cleaning products (like bio-clean).....but i cant see why kefir wouldn't work

I would put kefir whey in my plastic bucket with some non chlorinated water....a tablespoon of sugar and maybe a pinch of flour....and to keep the bacterias extra happy i would use a splash of milk or a few spoons milk powder .....wake the lil bastages up and keep em feeding/reproducing

Then before bed pouring the bucket of live bacteria down.....i dunno ....lets just say my kitchen sink and let them get to work on table scraps stuck to sides of disposal and sides of pipes and maybe even p-trap and refrain from bleach and disinfectants and vinegar down the drain

Maybe repeat this process for 5 days and then do it once a month for a night

This is NOT to unclog drains mind you, unless you have alot of patience...but long game pipe maintenance...especially if you have roots or or organic material that needs to be dissolved

I used bio-clean with great results for years.....hell i wonder if i could have bioclean fermenting in a bucket side by side with kefir whey and pour kefir down ....wake up a few hours later and pour bioclean down (or would they compete?)

Anyways.....thought?

I read once of some guy in hospital with staph infection who had his wife bring kefir to the hospital and he applied it to his wounds and it worked to fight staph and doctors got angry at him

I also read someone say they snorted it kinda like netipot flushing for allergies and swore it worked

And another who claimed that they drank it and swished in mouth by the gallon for strep throat

A few years ago I read someone rubbed it in their eyes to treat pink eye

And people soaking feet in kefir for fungus

And people "plugging" a grain or too to colonize large intestine and draw out 💩

The ONLY thing that I found that was being studied was the wound/staph thing....that applied to wounds immediately can prevent staph and accelerate healing

The other stuff all seems to be housewife testimony and "bro-lore" but I think it COULD work....and by theory in place of studies and science I think it SHOULD work....(but im not a doctor dont take my advice)

What do you guys think?
