What's the current status of The Crow: City of Angels 160 minutes cut? [unreleased media]

So I wonder if there are any new leads about mythical The Crow: City of Angels pre-reshoots workprint which was supposedly 160 minutes long and much better than the final film, before Weinstein brothers gutted the movie for whatever reason.

I don't know how accurate the whole "it was shown on pay-per-view channels back in the 90s" rumor is or that some hardcore collectors have a tape, but I'm curious if the tape was actually found somewhere.

Oddly enough, the ending from that cut was featured in the tie-in game:

It would be a shame if the movie is just lost in time like Welles' The Magnificent Ambersons cut.

Regarding Cape Fear (2026)

I watched 6 episodes so far and I have this question: WTF is wrong with Bowden family's son? I mean what the hell is his problem, he's just nuts all the time.

Josh Brolin Says He Almost Quit Ridley Scott’s ‘The Dog Stars’ After One Day on Set: “I Want Out”

Josh Brolin is telling Empire Magazine that he almost quit Ridley Scott’s “The Dog Stars” after being unsettled by Scott’s unusual way of making the film, which co-stars Jacob Elordi.

In the interview, the actor says Scott’s loose approach on the ‘Dog Stars’ set immediately threw him off. Brolin said, “it bugged me out, and I got really scared.”

That discomfort escalated quickly into full panic. After just his first day, he left set and called his agent, convinced something was fundamentally wrong. In that moment, he said, “I want out. Something’s really wrong, and I’ve got to get the f*ck out of here.”

This wasn’t gradual hesitation—it was an immediate urge to walk away from the entire film. His agent urged him to pause and recover, suggesting he rest, but Brolin initially rejected the idea, insisting, “No, man, I know what the f*ck you’re doing. It’s not one of those day-things.”

After a brief adjustment period, things eventually settled down. Looking back, Brolin described Scott’s process as “stratospherically creative and stratospherically dangerous,” admitting it ultimately became a “satisfying” experience.insisting, “No, man, I know what the f*ck you’re doing. It’s not one of those day-things.”

Discourse around Citizen Vigilante (2026) is the funniest thing I've seen in a while

I just can't stop laughing. Right wing grift channels took Uwe's bait and convinced themselves the movie is a cinematic masterpiece because it panders directly to them. Just wait till Critial Drinker will give it a glowing review with another rant about "woke Hollywood". Letterboxd reviews are either 1/10 or 10/10.

Uwe is a genius, he'll probably make a bank on vod.

What's the next goal post?

Guys, I think I'm out of goal posts at this point. First it was gonna be FOR SURE announced last November, then December. Then launched with Steam Machine, then announced with Steam Machine. Now I don't think there's anything left other than "Relax, guys, we'll be playing HLX mods in the second half of the year". Any suggestions how to cope next?

Regarding System Shock 3 rights

So I read that Night Dive licensed System Shock 3 to Otherside who later sold those rights to Tencent because its development fell apart. I have 2 questions: why did Night Dive give up sequel rights like that instead of proper licensing and why did Otherside sell their rights to Tencent without any contractual obligation for Tencent to actually make that game? Are they stupid? They essentially made sequel rights a hostage for no reason whatsoever, it looks like a royal legal fuck up. I don't even want to ask why Tencent wanted those rights in the first place since they did absolutely nothing with them.
