Been a hot minute but I finally got round to taking pictures of everything~

This set is chock full of extrass~ I have a proper unboxing (albeit only a quick thumb through /page through preview) here: https://youtu.be/AX0RmgqAXXY

It came in a cardboard box, albeit kinda thin but better packaging than nothing, it does have white foam inside to buffer away any damages from the book though.

There are lots of set extras: Lucky cyan guitar pick, holo sticker sheet, lenticular card, glitter postcard, set of paper character standees, and a shikishi with the season 1 final episode commemorative visual, it also has each top hero signature on it~ The signature is in it's own layer of gold ink to make it look more like real signatures~

Last the artbook itself! Hardcover with a dust jacket featuring one of the main series visuals on a backdrop of holo✨

As for the contents it has World guide, character profiles (including a timeline under X's section), storyboards and illustrations, production behind the scenes, and staff signature/illustrations and commentary 👐

definitely more than just an artbook with all the information it has, slowly but surely getting through it with google translate ahah

Prime day sales in general ongoing, thought this was def worth a post itself. It's a restock as well, went oos earlier today but it's back

MediaOCD stocking more Sentai (including some Pre-orders)

**I linked their linktree/card or the social they tend to use more but they may be on multiple platforms~

Postcard set with sticker from X/spruceaoi! - I love the vignette style of the postcards that give a little bit more story to em, almost like an album collage full of memoriess🥹

https://x.com/Spruceaoi

Next up quite a few things from Ziya Illustration! They were doing some valko drops so I grabbed that and a few other things I'd been eyeing on but wanted to wait a bit to get stuff to order cause shipping ahah. As for caleb specifically, the illusia locus style cards were part of a freebie promo they were doing and aughhh just gorgeous workk.✨ I had to get Valko to finish the dangerously sexy blood pc set and grabbed a mini print blood Caleb bc it just looks that goooddd🤤~ (i posted the Caleb PC earlier on here) While I was at it got Caleb birthday 2026 print as well

https://linktr.ee/ziyaziya

Next up IG/orbitingdeepspace merch~ Grabbed this adorable silver postcard for the Caleb birthday event and a 10cm doll cape! The freebies added to the order are the chibi savage overture keychains, gap moe mayhaps?? bc that banner was pretty hot not cute lol🥵😚 but they're adorbs 💖

https://linktr.ee/orbitingdeepspace

Next up got these Final Fantasy inspired prints from yookes~ I simply adore the concept and esp the more grungy darker lighting hehe

last but not leastttt a pickup from a local con! Lovely ot5 set from pixelbitter!

Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online II

This set comes with a slipcase in line with S1's release with a L card infosheet, the series on 3 discs, a booklet, and 13 piece art card set

The booklet has episode summaries and credits, key frames, and OP/ED song lyrics and credits as well

Art card illustrations are each by diff guest arists (credit on the back) #5 is my favorite of em! I recognized Kanna Hirayama's style immediately!✨ Unfortunately they are again thinner flimsier paper than the usual but same as Monogatari on/off so ig it might just be a newer release thing :(

They've announced a Blu-ray box set for THE GHOST IN THE SHELL!

On Their Frontlines The Lives of Japanese War Brides 1 - Marina Lisa Komiya

Found the plot intriguing so it was a blind buy for me~ They did a lot of embossing texture for the cover! First ever title I've gotten from Takumi Graphics

My Girlfriend's Child 10 (Final) - Mamoru Aoi

Took me a hot minute to grabbing this volume. I found it clever the mangaka had the main story be in 9 volumes (for 9 months in pregnancy) and the 10th extra chapters trying to tie up some loose ends. Ngl didn't love how the stories ended but life do be like that at times. Not everything will get tied up in nice bows, not everything gets resolved nicely so tbh this volume ending was a bit frustrating aha I really wished the best for everyone yet twas not meant to be

Got in my pre-order setssss!

Monster - much long awaiteddd! I'm stoked to rewatch the series off the blu-ray 👐 Mayhaps once day we can get other viz rescuesss I'd love Hikaru no Go but with it still being available on streaming i suspect the license is still being held up, mayhap one day thooo I'd love to be rid of those 10 single vols esp and get the rest ofc 😆

Was anyone else's slip veryy tight on the bd case?? I pulled up a bit of the plastic cover already trying to shimmy the slip back on 🥲

Digimon Tamers - Season 3 is hereeee and tbh I stopped watching digimon after Adventure/02 but I've heard good things about season 3 sooo I thought it worth the blind buy hehe. I plan on picking up season 4 too >< Terriermon is my fav mon (thx to the digimon movie tho) so it's neat to see him partnered with a main cast member~

Hana Yori Dango - SD on BD so ig I didn't need to upgrade from the dvd set I got from the closeouts but I definitely appreciate the bd form and less discs hehe 👐 I'm glad to see they're still renewing shoujo stuffs given the discotek bread and butter tends towards the shounen/seinen demo ahah We got the consolidated release of RoV too!

Imported a couple of doujins from japan for best boi Calebbb~ These things are wayyy too easy to accumulate so idk if i plan on getting much more ahah

Anyways first three are by x/aoyagi_asobi. The Netherlord once has iridescent cover finish💖~ The thronesong one has foiled titling~

and the last one is by X/uruhik0

and throwing on to this post I did one of those paint your own pottery places with the fam and I did a plate of chibi Caleb~ My sis did help with the hair though ahaha

I mainly wanted the Ruby figure and in total ended up pulling 40 times to get her 💀💀 It was the first round of piccoma kuji so I didn't know how the aftermarket would be for it so I figured I'd try it out and see plus I'd get a bunch of extra merch otw lol Well tbh I decided not to do it again ahah.Getting her secondhand isnt that expensive looking at merc jp so I'll def look that way for the Villain's are destined to die kuji merch and tbh the extra merch is nice but past the fine graph I don't feel the need to keep anything else ahaha and selling stuff is extra work too ahah. Not to mention shipping was a PITA and the worst timing with CPSC import stuffs bc of the plushies... Luckily the package arrived to me safely but still more trouble than it's worth 😅

First up the B prize Chara Fine Graph with the main story promo visual! I believe it's the one they used for season 1? There were two designs for it with the other one being one of the other main promo visuals. It's too bad I didn't get both but eh how it goes sometimes with lotteries ahah. I got two copies of this prize

Next up the C prize Popo Plushies. There's 3 types which are each a diff facial expression. They're pretty small but bigger than standard keychain plushies, a bit bigger than the Pokemon sitting cuties I'd say. They have a ball keychain attached and the tail is attached to the main body. The embroidered details are nicely sewn and overall a decent design for a kuji prize imo. They're pretty soft and squishy~ I got 5 of these plushies 3 of 1 design and 1 each of the other designs.

D prize is acrylic standees with 5 different types. I pulled 10 total and was able to get 1 of each design at least.

Next the E prize the acrylic keychains which had 10 types of which I got 6 and quite a few dupes ahah

Next the F prize collectible card with mini clear file, 15 types. I only got one dupe here surprisingly enough

Last but not least the Figure!!! I don't buy much kuji tbf so Idk what the standards are compared to normal prizes vs scales but she's definitely right in the middle for quality imo

Overall she's pretty good imo! Better on the details and sculpt than most prizes but the finish and painting are the giveaways that this is a lower priced figure. Still I'm pretty happy with the quality they put out~

The eyes though i do find her looking a bit weirder than the promo but I think it's more of a limited display angle than anything because the irises are close to the nose so angles other than in front will look like she's cross eyed. Her design is like this though so they kept it accurate lol. I do like that they sculpted her lips though and even though you cna hardly see it they also sculpted and painted her nails and they have a glossy topcoat too~

The box comes with a slipcover which has a nice cover design akin to the novel covers and a picture of the figure on the side. The interior box (interestingly a slightly different color tone than the slipcover) has a window and this time the title and piccoma kuji logos are foiled which is a nice touch~

This set comes in a hard glossy outbox with obi, an amaray case and discs, a booklet, and a set of postcards~

The booklet is divided by arc with synopsis, character profiles, and anime art/scene collages

The postcards are all each a different artist which I find pretty neat as a bonus rather than the standard key frame or promo based art cards. I recognize a good number of the artists and it's cool to see monogatari in their style~ I will note the material of these postcards is wayy thinner than I'm used to from AoA. It's kinda like pamphlet paper where before it at least felt rigid like card paper, this is definitely more flimsy.

Gorgeous boxset for a GORGEOUS series~

Star Clock Liddell Slipcase Set - Yoshimi Uchida

It's been a long time coming but sooo worth the wait~

This limited release comes with a cloth slipcase with foil lettering and accents, sooo pretty 💖

Aughhh the volume design, interior layout, and art is just gorgeous 🤧🤧 Each has foiled titling with french flaps and volume 1 comes with a foldout fontispage

The vol 1 cover is my fav illustration and glad to see it as the main image on the slipcase. It also includes a mini column piece on Uchida too, which was a very cool read and inclusion!

I've included sneak peeks of the insidee~ There's beautiful colored pages and extras 👀 Love their afterword style too!! very cutee

So glad to own this classic and in such a beautiful physical edition as well, just amazinggg!! I think this is definitely one of my favorite releases from gbb ><

Some arrivals from VIPOutlets. The store seems to sell Walmart stock for cheap. Several of my packages were shipped from the same address as my direct from Walmart packages have been shipped from ahaha. Some folks have iffy experience with em on condition tbf tho but was worth it for me for the cheap price. really annoying part though was it required ID and signature and you couldn't online release it so you'd either have to be at the house when they went by or you pick it up at a nearby FedEx location

Robotech Steelbook - Honestly do love the design for the steelbook past the stacked disks which is unfortunate, but glad to have the series in a nice complete thin form factor set~ My initial copy actually came damaged, could've been the flimsy bubble mailer they shipped it or shipped like that, no idea. Anyways I reached out to return and refund and just bought another copy and all went well~

Demon Slayer Hashira Training Arc - Hit or miss if you get the slipcover with it and even if you do it might come with a giant sticker on top... nothing a bit of patience, hair dryer, goo gone and some alcohol didn't help fix though ahah. I lowkey bought this 4 times to get a slipcover..🤡 but I did finally get one tho sooo 🙌

Pokemon Johto League Champions - continuing my long journey to finish buying this series up to DP. Been waiting for em to hit a history low and they did so I grabbed one~ It's pretty nice these releases get slips imo. I do wish we couod get Pokemon on blu-ray but seems they gave up after s1 and even the latest Pokemon TV sets are dvd only 🤷
