Ive seen a lot of discourse regarding the parents since the last day of the prelims. I understand the split in people with the little info given on exactly what was said in court but, even if the parents weren't aware who exactly david was surely they were aware he was older, who is letting their 13 year old child travel with another minor from the usa to the uk alone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I hope this clears up any confusion

I thought when the police went to his house in february it was his first contact with police regarding celeste but according to the transcripts riverside police had already been in contact with david regarding her and had their own investigation ? WTH so the police were very well aware of celeste and knew previously to contact david about her??? Why would the police not be interested in hearing it, saying hes just looking for her. If she had been reported missing beforehand and tied to a grown man they should have asked more, his word should not have been enough.. EVERYONE let her down, poor girl

You might think it's just a silly reel, but from what I've seen and read, aysia is extremely immature, out of touch, lacking any empathy, and self-centred, low-key ego maniac. I dont know, she's just rubbing me the wrong way, the fact she was notified of celeste alone was enough to raise eyebrows but I kept my focus on david until evidence came out about anyone else. If you see a missing childs poster and recognise them as your friends gf but he shows you a fake ID you just go, ok? I understand he could have said stuff to manipulate her, but didn't she just Google cesleste after that? There's no way curiosity didn't get the better of her, even if she is as self-absorbed as she comes across. Other things that make me think they were involved was their social media presence throughout 2025 they seemed extremely close, she travelled a lot with him, appeared to be at his a lot, lots of content and pics of them together, of course they could be with other people too but thats just what ive saw, and of course celeste jealousy towards her makes me think she was aware something had happened between them or maybe she saw first hand flirting, im not entirely sure but i think something happened between them with how strong celestes reactions to them being together was
This is basically all speculation of course but with all that's came out this week its made me start to think and look elsewhere, everyone thought people were crazy saying the family had any involvement, co workers etc, but its all came out this week to say the exact opposite

Her father was also the one who got their attorney to say " I never had any contact with this guy and we haven't received any money from him or anyone in his family " the same man who also called the news after her body was found to tell them she had a boyfriend named david and they had matching tattoos..
I do find the wording of everything regarding the families interesting, if you really analyse it, it kind of seems like the father isnt saying he didnt know him just that he " never had any contact " and the way a lot of things were worded today in court, I dont think david had regular contact with the father but I do believe they met or have spoke at least once possibly on the phone, I feel like everyone's just tip toeing around trying to cover their own a$$, using vague language to try throw people off
I also just found out celeste was staying with her aunt and cousins at points in the year 2024, not her parents, they allowed her to move in with them in LA

We've been giving this prelim brief and already been told the motive is financial gain and that he " watched her bleed out "
After celeste met David's parents in texas their relationship seemed to cease to exist, we heard of no more text convos minus the time leading up to the murder
We have been given very little context about the communication ending at this time, but what we have been told leads me to believe david was actually the one to end the relwtionship, Celeste felt like she had been used prior to this ( multiple exchanges saying how all the do is have s**, he doesn't hold her hand anymore, she wants more for herself ) but that break up seemed to push her over the edge.
We hear of some text exchanges arounnd a month before her murder ( sure it was march but I could be slightly off ) David comes across non chalant stating its like their 8th break up while celeste would state she had slept with him for a year (the context it was given in makes celeste sound distressed and used while David doesnt care )
This is the last communication we have been told about, the prelim brief states evidence is still be given on " Text message exchanges between defendant and the victim on April 22 and April 23. 2025, where the victim threatened to ex pose defendant and destroy his career " supposedly it was a lengthy arguement spanning over 2 days
She arrives at his at 10.10 and by 10.30 hes texting asking where she is which means she was more than likely dead within 20 minutes, this monster didnt even hesitate in killing the poor child
The poor little girl slowly but surely realised she was being used and groomed, she tried to stand up for herself. I think she also carefully calculated to do it around that time knowing he would have the most eyes on him but David wouldnt let that be hence why he didnt hesitate when the arguement started about exposing him, within a day of the threat he had killed her.
With the amount of blood found in the garage, I believe it's pretty clear he killed her there. I think the trip to santa Barbara happened to try dispose of the body straight away (as the party was the 24th and he was more than likely expecting to having people over to his in anticipation, ) but he got there and realised he couldnt, lack of proper tools, physically to weak, and his twisted brain probably wanted to keep the body for a little while longer for some reason too.
So he gets home orders the shovel and burn cage trying to think of he'll dispose her, he probably tried bury her again at one point, considered the burn cage but decided that wasnt his best option for whatever reason

Im from the UK and if a child is missing and tried to board a flight it would flag up on the system and police would immediately be notified. Im so confused how a kid can be reported missing, have cops travel to David's home and be aware she's involved with adults at her baby age, yet she can fly and no one bats an eyelid, no safety measures put in place, no system to stop missing kids being abducted and taken out of the state
This case just screams neglect from every angle, the parents on both sides, the police, all the adults in the situation, im sickened to death with how this was able to happen
Usually theres always something that sounds nice, I kinda love my food its a dopamine hit normally, but rn everything I put in my mouth is giving me the boke, if its not the texture its the flavour, anything too sweet, too savoury, flavour in general seems to be giving me the ick rn, I've been living off of coffee ( im low key addicted to coffee ) and whatever fruit I can force down quickly without dry heaving, mainly strawberries that aren't quite ripe and grapes
Im extremely burn out and depressed right now, I think thats part of the issue, I feel so overwhelmed already adding anything else into the mix even if its for my survival, I just cant, im so over the tummy pains and feeling sick half the day

Just wanna add this is purely a sensory/depression/anxiety issue, im still a healthy weight and always have been, this is the first time ive ever expirenced a real issue with my relationship with food
