I have an LG fridge that’s nearing the end of its EPP with Home Depot, so I’d like to take advantage of the 50% filter reimbursement while I still can. Can I just buy a stockpile (by which I mean maybe 4-6, not an entire store’s worth of stock) and then just let them sit? I’d previously bought them two at a time for a year’s supply.
My brother gave me his Gen 1 Pros (I need the noise canceling and I’m not picky about them being up-to-date) and while they connect to my phone fine, I get a constant static noise in my left ear. Any suggestions on something that I can do to fix this?
If not, I’m going to take them to the Apple Store and have them take a look at it. Worst case scenario, if they’re totally shot, I got them free of charge and Costco has Gen 3s on sale for $199.
I’m in the early stages of planning a trip to NYC for Ghostbusters Day in June 2028. While I know that’s more than a year out, I’m trying to hammer out some of the details now so I don’t have to scramble to figure them out closer to the day of.
The celebration takes place at the Ghostbusters Firehouse in Tribeca, so ideally I’d like a hotel that’s in Manhattan and within a reasonable subway distance, since there’s a station a block away from the Firehouse.
Most of the time on the trip would be spent away from the hotel, so I don’t need something luxurious.

I was having this discussion with someone because I travel enough to get 2/4 quarterly statement credits. I assume something like popping over to the Anaheim Hilton for a drink at the bar the next time I go to Disneyland wouldn’t count or, since I’m a short drive away, going to Chandler’s at Cape Rey wouldn’t count, because I’ve wanted to try that restaurant for a while.

Why do we need such a big lander? Look, I get that we’re going for something bigger than the Apollo LM but there’s a massive size difference between the two proposed landers and the LM. Why hasn’t a middle ground been proposed?
