Authentic Staropramen Pilsner 🇨🇿🍺

Authentic Staropramen Pilsner 🇨🇿🍺

5% ABV Czech Republic Pilsner

In the UK

Yes I know this brewery is now owned by Molson Coors.

But this version is still brewed in Prague and tastes really nice in my opinion.

I know that a lot of authentic beers that Coors own are now brewed under licence in UK but I really hope there is still an imported version of this one.

Excellent flavour that you get from European lager/pilsners. I had Mythos on same night and stacked up very similar.

Mythos Beer 🇬🇷🍺

5% ABV premium Hellenic beer

This hits more like a Lager / Pilsner IMO

Drinking at home but certainly reminds me of those great holidays in Greece.

Fabulous smooth taste and flavour you only get with imported European lager.

I like this one 😋

My Home (Updated) 🏡

Posted an early design of this base a few months back. It's now been 9 months since I landed herr and I love it.

Screenshot 1 is the front of the base which sits on a lake.

Screenshot 2 is the newly constructed rear of the base where the scientists, construction experts etc reside.

Screenshot 3 shows an aerial view where the landing pad can be seen in the centre.

Hope you like it and give me your thoughts

Acorn Brewery - Yorkshire Pride , Straw Pale Session Ale (3.7 % abv) 🍺

From Acorn Brewery in Barnsley.

Been a fan of Acorn beers pretty much since it's creation and this one didn't disappoint.

Moreish citrus flavours and hops with a hint of bitterness that made this ale really enjoyable and sessionable.

Decent sessionable ale with citrus and subtle hop flavour

Excellent location for a few drinks in sunshine

Whin Hill Single Variety Norfolk Perry (2026 Batch 600) 5.4%abv 🍐🍸

Not my first Whin Hill post , I have posted Perry's before

And this batch 600 produce is just as fantastic

Excellent authentic craft cider with juicy flavour and excellent after taste.

As with all Whin hill cider and Perry this version has gone down very well and I could easily drink another

**I have no affiliation with whin hill. I just like there cider and Perry's**

Old Barnsley Nightclubs 🌆🍸🍹

Been meaning to make this post for a while now.

If you see my previous posts on this sub I usually spend my Reddit time promoting modern day Barnsley as I grew up there , meet some great people there and have some fantastic memories.

I moved away about 20 years ago but still love my hometown

But today. I'd like get a little conversation going about past nightclubs in Tarn. Specifically Heaven and Hell , Hedonism (Which I'm aware burnt down)

I'm not writing a biography or anything but I have been trying to piece together my own timeline.

Like which year did heaven and hell open and close and the same with Hedonism ?

Has anyone got any memories of going.

Looking for comments of other people's happy times in these places

This is just a question about Barnsley nightlife history. Which I believe I missed

Please can I ask that people's names are left out of any comments. I'm not looking for a friend's reunited style situation.

Beer Garden Pepperoni 🍕🍺🌄😎

Superb beer garden takeaway pizza here.

First beer garden trip in a while. Had a few fine beers and watched world go by.

Finished off with a delicious stone baked pepperoni pizza with succulent jalapenos wrapped in a fabulous mozzarella cheese and tomato topping 😋😋

Camden Town Brewery - Eazy IPA 🍺(5%abv)

First pint in a beer garden in a while and this went down pretty well.

As the name suggest. Just a easy sessionable IPA with subtle hops and moreish drinkability.

Brookston Premium Beer (4.5%abv) 🍺

From Aldi

Been looking forward to trying this beer since I first heard about it.

£2.99 I paid for 4 cans.

More of a German style pilsner. Very easy to drink. Decent flavour and carbonation.

One sign I always look for in lagers / pilsners is the froth that's left in the glass as you drink it and this had plenty.

Old Pit Lane Cortonwood (Brampton)

** Please keep comments civil. As someone who grew here I know the history but this post is about the development of the area and what's left from the past**

Back home to visit my folks a few weeks ago and took dog for a walk and ended up on old pit lane. Fascinating remnant of the past. Although I'm from here I would be interested in hearing about other interesting locations in the area to visit next time. Sealed mine shafts ? Plaques ?

While we wait for GTA 6 ? 🚔👮

While I wait for GTA 6 I've been playing the Precinct

Yeah I know this is nowhere near on same level as GTA in terms of budget or scale.

But this is an excellent indie game with plenty in common with what people love about GTA games

I've just finished the story and loved the shootouts , the police chases and races

If you can get your head round the semi top down view. This game world is fantastic with loads of nods to 80s culture.

Gameplay was great and the story got better as the game went on.

I have no affiliation to Fallen tree games / The Precinct. It's just a really cool game that I wanted to share.

Whin Hill - Medium Sparkling Norfolk Cider (Batch 495 / 6.8 % ABV) 🍺

Firstly I have no affiliation to Whin Hill but I love every cider I've had fron there.

This one for me was very much like a good quality vintage.

Perfect balance of flavour and dryness.

Vocation Brewery - Life and Death Classic IPA 🍺

6.5 ABV pale ale

I actually think this is a nice refreshing beer.

Not too heavy on the hop flavour and certainly sessionable in my opinion
