Yes, I am a bit crazy…I started this 1 month and 5 days ago….I am still staging all the rooms, but finished up the structure and lighting tonight, so I was excited to share.
The first photo is no other light in the room; it creates quite the glow on its own. Second photo is with the overhead light on.
**I have taken some liberties with moving pieces, flooring, etc.
So, to say I have been bitting by the Super Creator series bug is an understatement.
Out of the 18 kits I have built so far I have been impressed that I was only missing 2 small pieces, which I ordered replacements for quite easily. I already received the ‘approved/shipped’ emails. However, the one I just opened, Holiday Tea Time was missing the whole electronic bag, light and power box. I put in the order, but am worried that having put in 2 orders, now missing a whole bag is going to be an issue.
I also noticed this time, that is also an option for spare parts purchase…can I order extra parts? For example I think it’s crazy that the ice cream shop only comes with one chair…who wants to eat ice cream alone 😉.….can I order the parts for another chair if I am willing to pay for them?
Also, I haven’t set up all my lighting yet…but a couple so far are very fiddly and temperamental (noteably the Gamer Queen computer and Little Bear Cafe sign). I have tried the obvious, checked the connections/ cord…but it didn’t help other than…depending on how it was laying at that moment, flickering and sometimes staying on. Is this normal? Suggestions ?
I have seen a lot of debate about what scale Rolife Super Creator really is. To me, it is mostly 1:18. But, as with many miniatures scale is relative. And often not the same set to set, even with the same manufacturer. As someone who has collected Re-Ment for Barbie for over 25 years, with in reason I am pretty adaptable.
This set runs a bit large, especially the accessories. As I do with my ’Barbie loves Re-Ment reviews’, I judge by hand size.
This set is so cute and although many of the accessories do not pass the hand hold threshold, they do look ok as background. Some of the accessories are large enough, that even Barbie (1:6 scale) can easily use them. The furniture fits well.
It should be noted that, I moved things around from the suggested layout. I am a computer under the desk, instead of the desk gal, I’ve left a lot of the stickers as I prefer a cleaner look. The computer not only lights up, but rotates colors between blue, pink, and a light purple. To me, it fits Cat Cafe perfectly, with that computer home page and colors, it feels made for her.
This is a brand new set that a friend in China sent me for my birthday, it has a matching bedroom and closet set, too. It’s on pre-order now on Amazon, and is set for shipping late September, early October.

Ms. Comic Con removed her puffs, and flattened her hair (a bit) with a boil dip (or 2), and a copic marker dye in ‘special black’. Her shoes were also colored with the copic marker and sealed with clear nail polish. *please note: dye transfer is always possible, so proceed with care*
Her coveralls got ‘hemmed’ and given to the former bikini girl (who has dyed her hair); she is also wearing a Polly Pocket shirt and boots. She says she doesn’t mind hand me downs, especially when they are this cute!
I am not a big Instagram user, but this thrilled me. Silly, maybe…but fun anyway.

Like many, I poured over eBay at Polly Pocket listings….but with added shipping and uncertainty, I was thrilled to hear about these options. I don’t love the plastic clothing, but I fell at least I have some options until I can my motivation up to sew for them; I do like them more than I thought. And the shoes fit perfectly!
These three sets are available, but the Amazon listing only shows the green one. I ordered 4 sets, hoping that I would get all 3, and I did! Yahoo! The fourth is probably going back…I think 😂🤣…..those white boots are so cute and I could paint them for a brown pair.
I tend to horde any gift cards, credit card rewards, etc I get. In the last few weeks, I spent them all spoiling the Minnees with rooms…and my birthday is in 4 days…you know what I asked for 🤣😂
I finished up the beauty store (Pink Beauty Secret) late last night and it hit me as I was looking at the accessories, that it would probably be helpful to show them with dolls, close up, rather than the general snaps I have been sharing. I have been collecting Re-Ment (Japanese miniatures) for about 30 years and have done many reviews in a "Barbie loves Rement" series to help others see which sets work well with Barbie. It makes sense to do the same for the Rolife and Minnee Dolls.
The markers dye the vinyl really easily, so I cover the face well with painters tape….and as simple as it seems ….. color. I really scrub it in, leave it for about 24 hours and rub off any excess.
Three colors were used here: Base coat in YR24, and then added on YR37 & E08.
