Idk I have been looking into too much liminal stuff

Below is my dream, altered slightly to make more sense (aka, floors have friction, and people in the military don't make human walls)

A kid, a wife, and a husband are hanging out at home.

The child is a older toddler.

The wife is sitting on the couch, watching the kid.

The kid is playing with letter blocks, spelling words.

The husband needs to leave, but before he goes, he packs up the letters into a clear bag.

The camera follows the bag while he puts it away, camera looking at the letters spelling "LIMINAL" on the side.

The husband leaves the house. It is dark outside.

He looks up at the sky and screams, although we cannot see what he is looking at.

Cut to an orphanage.

First-graders are playing around in a classroom.

One kid is rolling around on a chair, making a mess of the classroom.

The teacher/supervisor gets mad and instructs the child to follow him.

The child follows him in the woods to a tent.

The teacher puts his sweater on the ground beside the tent before entering.

Inside the tent, there is a small laptop.

The teacher turns on the laptop and goes to a slideshow, in which it is labeled "Standard expectations".

The teacher flips to the first slide, but then is confused as it is just a picture of a brown cub.

He goes to the next slide, in which it is another, different, brown cub.

The first 5 slides are like that.

The following slides are pictures taken from the trail they walked on, increasingly getting closer to the tent, and the sweater is visible.

He turns off the laptop and is mostly just confused, and blames it on a co-worker.

He starts telling the kid about mis-behaving, before flies appear in the tent.

He looks outside to see a girl pressing her face on the screen.

He asks, with an annoyed expression, "Are some of these flies lanky?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an l. "Are some of these flies intelligent?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an i beside the l. "Are some of these flies mysterious?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an m beside the i. "Are some of these flies impressive?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an i beside the m. "Are some of these flies necessary?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an n beside the i. "Are some of these flies ambitious?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an a beside the n. "Are some of these flies liminal?" "Yes" she says. In the background, the flies fly into a general shape of an l beside the a. "Alright sick, I've played your game, now come inside we need to talk." the man says. The flies scatter again.

She comes inside, but here's a twig snap in the forest and gets scared.

"You are an adult, grow up."

"But the forest has monsters in it that will take you to the mirror room."

"There are no monsters in the forest, there is no fantasy land, and there definitely is no mirror room."

The word "NO" appears on her forehead with white ink, but only the child seems to notice.

Another twig snaps.

"Okay, what is that?"

He looks outside and freezes in shock and fear, while looking up.

"What, what is it?"

The ink is gone from her forehead.

She looks outside, and up, then screams.

Cut to them in a hospital, brain-dead.

The thing they were looking at was this giant creature in the sky (looks like the mind flayer from Stanger Things ig) and the kid at the start and the kid in the second part could be the same person, as I switched that from it being in the military (idk i wanted it to make more sense) and the orphanage was just a regular school classroom (changed ot to make going into the woods more realistic) the chair was actually just the child sliding around on his ass, and the girl was at a party right outside the tent with a big table that wasn't there before. Also, the people brain-dead in my dream were instead having a constant seizure, and sitting in the hospital waiting room.

I ended up waking up when I saw them in the room.

Even though I woke up, I still knew what the creature looked like, and that the child (main character) would end up being transferred into these liminal worlds (probably in the future).
