Happy 80th birthday to the former Cheryl Sarkisian LaPiere Bono Allman

Cher was the musical guest twice

  • 1305 (Candice Bergen)

  • 5109 (Ariana Grande)

While she never hosted herself, she did appear when Moonstruck costar Nicolas Cage hosted (1801 m.g. Bobby Brown) and hosted her own variety show on CBS at myriad times 1971-77, sometimes with her (ex-)husband Sonny Bono

Bob Saget would have turned 70 today. The foul-mouthed comic was ironically best known for playing the wholesome Danny Tanner on Full House for eight seasons as well as its sequel Fuller House for 15 episodes. He was also the voice of Future Ted on HIMYM

If all goes according to plan, tonight's episode will set the record for oldest combined aged of the host and musical guest at 142 years

Paul currently has the record with Martin Short @133 (s38Christmas), and the non-Paul highest belongs to Ruth Gordon/Chuck Berry @130 (s2e12)

The Neighborhood concluded last night on CBS after 8 seasons and 155 episodes. Despite consistently being a Top 35 show throughout its run, it generated no buzz and won (or even nominated for) no awards. Did anyone watch it? If so, did I miss out?

What movie was Howard offered in late 2005?

When Artie was deciding if he wanted to take a month off to make a movie, he went to Howard for permission. Howard said that Artie didn't need permission but that he wouldn't do it, using Jay Thomas as his example of a radio star who fizzled after trying to jump to Hollywood.

He also said that he was offered the lead in a comedy from a "director that [he] respects" and that the rold was Oscar worthy. Howard told the director that as long as he was done filming by October 2005 he would take the part and when the director admitted that filming would extend into November Howard turned it down.

Now we all know Howard likes to exaggerate when making a point, but is there even a sliver of truth here? What movie could he possibly have been talking about?
